“Suspiros Cakes Chula Vista CA are delicious!!! Go in person to check out their many incredible flavors. The staff is incredibly friendly (English and Spanish speaking) and takes the time to find you your perfect cake. I ordered the carrot cake and choco crema/pinguino cakes for my wedding-- all the guests raved about how good they were! It is great that some flavors are offered in 1/4 or 1/2 sheets. “Great experience tonight at our local Cold Stone Creamery! Our server, Oscar, took the time to help us look up ingredients for the ice cream and mix-ins we wanted to help accommodate allergies. Although there was a wait, the line went quickly. The store was clean and social distancing was encouraged but not policed.“

“Nice little bakery that we recently found for a vegan cake, very much vegan friendly and other dietary restrictions. Sadly they are going to be closing up shop in August of 2026. But they do have a nice selection of baked goods, as well as selling mixtures to make their cakes at home. They told me that there are a few vendors around that sell them as well. They also do custom made cakes, nothing over the wall, semi simple with a few options of flavored cakes, frosting/filling and color as well as hand writen words“

“Igotyourcake is an amazing cake business!!! Tim is an excellent pastry chef!! He is friendly, funny, easygoing, and all about meeting your cake needs! I did too many cake tastings before finding him and I wish I found him first! His cakes are tasty, decadent, artistically constructed, and pleasing to the eye. His talents will amaze you. When my fiance (now husband) went to our cake tasting Tim went above and beyond our expectations (I won’t go into detail because I want you to be as surprised as we both were), and delighted our taste buds! If you think you’ve found another cake with someone else…try a cake tasting with Tim, you won’t be sorry you’ll be mind blown!!“

“Cold Stone Creamery Located in the charming Ferry Landing shops, Cold Stone Creamery in Coronado offers a sweet escape with a wide variety of ice cream creations, cakes, shakes, and smoothies.

We ordered the Cotton Candy and Peanut Butter flavors, both were delicious and definitely hit the spot! Each was $8.95, totaling about $17.90 for two small scoops, which felt a bit pricey for the portion size in my opinion .

There are some chairs and umbrellas just outside the shop, so you can sit and enjoy your treat while taking in the view.

There was a long line when we visited, and we waited around 15 minutes to order. Staff was friendly!“

“Had a great experience here at this Cold Stone. The worker Ilenia gave the most amazing customer service! Her interaction with my family absolutely made our day! She is very sweet and kind and has a heart of gold. We live in Chula Vista but my family will make the drive just to come to this Cold Stone to interact with Ilenia!“

“I’m usually not a fan of the tipping culture, especially at places like frozen yogurt or ice cream shops where you’re asked to tip before you’ve even had any interaction. But this Cold Stone changed my mind.

I didn’t catch the younger guy’s name, but he was exactly what customer service should be. He actually made conversation, asked how my day was, and didn’t just go through the motions. I know it’s a small thing, but if you’re going to ask someone how they’re doing, at least make it genuineand he did. That’s the kind of service that actually earns a tip.

The whole crew was friendly, the ice cream was great, and the experience stood out because of the people working there. Give these guys a raise, a promotion, or both. This is the kind of customer service more businesses need.“

“We are locals and every time we visit Seaport Village we always visit this Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop. We’ve visited so much we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner Michelle. She’s very friendly and loves her customers. She’s adamant all her employees make every customer feel special. On this occasion we were served by Julian who was a very nice, cheerful and a polite young man. We adore their homemade waffle cones dipped in a large variety of toppings from chocolate to sprinkles to nuts and many more. We are in awe of the huge selection of flavors. They have so many varieties they even have a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream made and dedicated for doggies. We love our ice cream and we love this family owned business. Go get your 🍦“
