“The vibe is chill but I really dont like that I dont know how much I will pay for a drink until I pay. They have menu with some of the drinks they have, but didnt bother to put prices on it. They dont have a drink menu for everything they have. When I asked about the price, I was told maximum price for a category of the drink (max for teh cocktail is, max for wine is), not a price for the drink that I was ordering.“

The food was just as impressive, with every dish full of flavor and clearly made with care.

“Karaoke was fun and the dj was super nice. Small bar but drinks here are priced reasonably. So many bars in San Diego want to charge $14+ for just one mild cocktail.. I went on a Sunday night and it was super affordable. It did take a minute to get the bar tender’s attention, but she was really friendly and made great drinks once I did. I’m not sure if they have food items here or not“

“Attended a family celebration here last weekend and had a really nice experience overall. The venue was clean, well organized, and had plenty of space for everyone to move around comfortably. The staff were friendly and helped things run smoothly throughout the event. Parking was easier than I expected, which was a big plus. The atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed, making it easy for guests to enjoy themselves. A few small details could have been handled a little better, but nothing that took away from the occasion. I'd definitely consider this place again for future gatherings.“

Just Had One Drunk Left

“I came here after work on a Friday night. It just so happen to be a Padres vs Dodgers game and this place was packed! I mean, for your regular local bar... it was poppin'!
Everyone had a good, positive vibe watching the game regardless of the rivalry (there was a mix of both fans here) they didn't have the jukebox playing, so it was strictly game time vibes!
But as soon as the game ended, Jaqui, the bartender at the time, turned the music UP!
Jaqui was the ONLY bartender serving the patrons all night! She not only was running around like crazy but she kept such an inviting, friendly smile the whole time! She made sure to keep a conversation going with her guests as well.
While I was here, I didn't hear of any complaints about the service. Jaqui made sure my refreshments 😜 were always full as well. She's by far the best I've seen yet!!
Overall, it's a cool bar to chill at during baseball games or even to have a night cap after work! & with Jaqui as your bartender, you'll leave here on a positive note and I bet you'll be back 😋😉“

Bartender was friendly and gave a few suggestions when we couldn't decide what to order. Drinks came out quick and tasted great. The crowd was mixed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Prices were fair for the area too. Nothing overly fancy, just a solid neighborhood bar where you can kick back for a few hours. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area again.“

I Need a Drink Rochelle

“As someone who occasionally visits this bar, I'll say my opinion matters far more than the other reviews... ha.. They get 5 star for food because you can bring your own. 5 star for service because they can make you feel like family,,,, they go out of their way to serve a drink exactly the way you like it. They won't put up with rude but reward kindness.. 5 stars for atmosphere. It's a lively mix of regulars and first time guests, where anyone is welcome. The vibe is have fun, be social, respectful, go with the flow and you may make a friend or two. The pool tables are my favorite part, great starter pool bar to learn with dedicated amateurs if you interested in joining a league, ask some of them.. 5/5 stars for this place.“

Catalina Lounge Lounges • $
4202 Voltaire St, San Diego

“The Catalina Lounge has been our "football hang-out" for the last few weeks and we've had a BLAST. Speaking of Blast-From-The-Past" we found two of our favorite bartenders here Brie and Brandon working the football crowd. It was refreshing to see that they remember all of us as soon as we walked in (by name!!!!) and what was also awesome they remembered what we drank, talk about those two making us feeling special. The ambiance on Sunday's is football, football, fun, and good times. During half time my husband and his friend like to play pool and additionally they put out some good eats (for FREEEEEEEEEEE) - yesterday it was nachos, 7 layer dip, juicy full size hot dogs (not the cheapies) and some yummy cookies and cakes. I don't know any other bar that goes that far. If you enjoy your SunFunDays watching games with friends (or by yourself, people are extra friendly there) having a ice cold beverage of choice and a GREAT time head on over.....Thanks AGAIN Brie and Brandon- you gave 10 PLUS service yesterday, see you NEXT Sunday!“

“If there was ever a place that should smell like sulfur and/or methane emitted from humans, it would be this place, but surprisingly I've never had that experience. It's definitely enjoyable if you like to get excessive human interaction, both Un and intentionally. The bartenders have always done their best with what they have to work with and the music is usually decent. 4 stars just because it's usually tight and hot, especially near the front but not so much once you pass the bar.“
