“Really good service there was this gentleman giving the orders from the drive thru on 05/31/2025 approx 10:35 am i dont know the name but still liked the service he confirmed the sausage was pork as i am not allowed to have pork and also he changed the biscuits to chicken. I know this seems pretty silly but who does care in todays time like this. Kuddos mann that guy deserves a raise for his attitude. Really felt delighted this time at MCD.!!“
“This McDonald's tries (and succeeds!) very hard to be all it can be!
The staff is consistent, they are professional and courteous. The food is just right ... here's a tip though ... ALWAYS ask for your order to be made fresh ... at any McDonald's! The quality of your order is at least 50× if not 100 times better.
They just rebuilt it ... It really doesn't have enough seating/tables to handle the amount of customers who want to dine there. After all .. it is a 24 hour restaurant less than 2 miles from the border .. a veritable tourist destination in its own way!
This McDonald's , as well as several others, has one main problem ... the are saturated with drive through and mobile orders from delivery food businesses like Uber Eats.
It's almost as if they should be it need to be two separate businesses. This is because it leaves them exhausted &, with very little time to give much care it concern or to put it bluntly .. much quality customer service to the patrons who eat at the restaurant.
I have noticed this at almost every McDonald's, the worst yet is the one on Nobel & Costa Verde in La Jolla ... It is a zoo of poor customer service due to spreading themselves extremely thin with to go orders
If McDonald's created a separate are for their delivery, food app and drive through orders it would be a nice restaurant.
It feels like you are interrupting a major event just trying to ask the staff about your order ... Or even just to order!!!
This is no reflection on the wonderful people that work there. This is something the upper management needs to take a serious look at
It diminishes the happiness of eating there and it is sad to see the employees run into the ground juggling what seems like 3 different restaurants.
Also their TV sucks as it's there but runs obscure sports shows w/ no subtitles so you can't watch it or read it! Go“
“Awesome manager and team is super helpful. I have made gains from mcdonalds so dont judge but ive eaten here daily during lunch breaks at work and theyre always super clean and fast and helpful. All the workers are super kind. Special shoutout to the drive through girl she wears a mask and is always grinding and i always see she is helping everyone and is the only one to pronounce my name Yousef correctly so shoutout to her and the team“

Every time I roll through, they got it dialed in. Hot, fresh, and hittin’ the spot like clockwork. Ain’t no guessin’ games, just straight-up good eatin’. Coffee’s solid too—keeps me buzzin’ enough to take on whatever wild nonsense the day throws at me.

“This is my favor McDonald in the area. It is so clean from the inside and outside tables to the restroom. Good and very helpful services. Sometime insatiable there for hours to read the news or responding to my emails and they never said anything.“
“I tried the chicken wraps and a 2 cheeseburger meal. I went with the drive thru and service was fast as their was two drive up spaces and no waiting (Saturday at 6:30 pm) not sure how busy during the weekday. I asked to modify the condiments on the cheeseburgers, and the order was repeated back to me perfectly. The Agent at the drive thru was very friendly, even when answering my question I had on the wraps and modifying the cheeseburgers. The entire process (from order to receiving my food), seriously took less than 5 minutes. Food was prepared exactly to order and all items were ready when I got to the pick up window after paying. The drink was first item I received and was very cold and not leaking. All hot foods were freshly made and definitely had not sat under a heat lamp. This was my first visit to this McDonalds and I will definitely be coming back.“

“I went to this location to get a Happy Meal promotion. This location is on a corner, with plenty of parking. There's large touch-screen menus for self-service. The dining area looked fairly clean and updated from my brief glance around.
Didn't use the self-service so I called to an employee for assistance. I asked for a specific item and she politely told me someone would help me shortly. Another employee came to the counter that was cordial while taking my order and getting me the specific item I wanted. The food was standard -edible- but the service was good.“

“I rate this particular location a four because it's inside Walmart and extremely busy also on this particular day the kiosk was not in sync with the locations inventory therefore I was denied a caramel frappe and a spicy chicken sandwich (out of stock). My advice is to order at the counter and not use the kiosk if you're going to the Walmart McDonald's in lemon Grove. One last note the double cheeseburger was a little dry.The gentleman at the counter was very pleasant and and possibly the manager I'm not sure but he was he was nice and explain things to me after I had already ordered and received my order.“

“I have in past times wanted to give a 0 star due to an experience I had maybe a year ago or so. However, 3/24/2026 evening I ordered fish sandwich with extra ingredients at the drive through. I paid at the first window and was requested to move forward to the second window. After being at the second window, the crew member, who seemed to be I think like a taller guy, of who I did not get his name, and a young lady, nicely explained I would have to wait at the third window for my order. They or he actually was so sincere and kind with his request hoping I moved forward. A few customers did past me as I waited. Though, from the 1st window to the 2nd window and 3rd everyone was kind. All 3 interactions the crew provided excellent service and even the 2nd attempted solutions and care for my wait though a resolve to allow the restaurant to make a good sandwich. Excellent service to the evening staff and the guy of whom I do not know his name, may tall slim guy!!!! Parking: I am a regular customer but most of the time they always park us for something missing in the order and it is understandable but the parking lot is always full of people who only pass by waiting for orders from Doordarsh or Uber and they don't even have orders and they occupy the parking of the clients that if we need the parking not only McDonald's clients but also the other places that are there should be something about those people who spend a lot of time there occupying parking without needing it“

Even if they were to make a mistake, this particular Mc Donald's is good at correcting the mistake with no questions asked and very sincere in their apology.
