“I always ask for my iced coffee and despite they already have the measurements of creamer and syrup, this location is my favorite.
Always have my orders correct and their staff is kind
It is near the freeway, has parking

This McDonald's is one of the more Organized compared to others
O and Their Coca Cola taste like Coca Cola
Other McDonald's coke taste like cherry coke this location. Has it down good with their Coke
They are on Pricier side
But I am happy with their service these guys take Pride In What they do
And Lourdes the skinny lady has phenomenal character with customers and her coworkers

“Awesome manager and team is super helpful. I have made gains from mcdonalds so dont judge but ive eaten here daily during lunch breaks at work and theyre always super clean and fast and helpful. All the workers are super kind. Special shoutout to the drive through girl she wears a mask and is always grinding and i always see she is helping everyone and is the only one to pronounce my name Yousef correctly so shoutout to her and the team“

“Really good service there was this gentleman giving the orders from the drive thru on 05/31/2025 approx 10:35 am i dont know the name but still liked the service he confirmed the sausage was pork as i am not allowed to have pork and also he changed the biscuits to chicken. I know this seems pretty silly but who does care in todays time like this. Kuddos mann that guy deserves a raise for his attitude. Really felt delighted this time at MCD.!!“

“The food is good and my brother stole my 20 bucks so I had to get it but luckily the cashier was super chill about it and she said she would keep my order and that promise was kept. I got my money back and the food was good. Just think the food is a bit pricey but otherwise good.“

“This is my favor McDonald in the area. It is so clean from the inside and outside tables to the restroom. Good and very helpful services. Sometime insatiable there for hours to read the news or responding to my emails and they never said anything.“

“I don’t often give fast food restaurants 5/5 stars, but this McDonalds at the Clairemont Square hold a special place in my heart. The evening staff are really nice people who are welcoming and thoughtful. Ashley is really cool in particular—always a smile and a friendly hello.

Recently I ordered the Big Arch meal for the first time and I was surprised by how good it was. It’s definitely better than the Big Mac. The sauce is a bit tangier, it’s just beefier all around, and the crispy onions are a good textural touch that elevates the flavor profile.

Fries are always on point—McDonalds is a gold standard in fast-food French fries. The Diet Dr. Pepper was crisp and had the right amount of ice.

Beyond this specific meal and the general quality of customer service, this location is always super clean inside and out. Overall, it’s one of the better McDonalds in San Diego, and worth a shot if you’ve got a hankering for something quick.“

“Visited McDonald's while in San Diego and the experience was pretty average overall. The food came out hot and fresh, especially the fries, but the wait time was a bit longer than expected during rush hour. Staff were polite, though the dining area could’ve been cleaner. Convenient spot for a quick meal if you’re in the area, just not the smoothest fast-food experience I’ve had.“

“Worse every day.No cashier, kiosk order only;So when you have a special order that the kiosk can't provide, you have to stand in line again. Then the worker looks at you all mad because they are so understaffed that she's trying to do 9 things at once. The forced smile only makes it worse.“

“I always order a Big Mac with large fries. I also ordered two McDoubles. How can you go wrong with two for $4!

Parking: There is only one way in and one way out. There's plenty of parking, but only one diagonal row. It was my first time having to park at North Dallas Forty. There's nothing that can be done about it.“

“I tried the chicken wraps and a 2 cheeseburger meal. I went with the drive thru and service was fast as their was two drive up spaces and no waiting (Saturday at 6:30 pm) not sure how busy during the weekday. I asked to modify the condiments on the cheeseburgers, and the order was repeated back to me perfectly. The Agent at the drive thru was very friendly, even when answering my question I had on the wraps and modifying the cheeseburgers. The entire process (from order to receiving my food), seriously took less than 5 minutes. Food was prepared exactly to order and all items were ready when I got to the pick up window after paying. The drink was first item I received and was very cold and not leaking. All hot foods were freshly made and definitely had not sat under a heat lamp. This was my first visit to this McDonalds and I will definitely be coming back.“

“I went to this location to get a Happy Meal promotion. This location is on a corner, with plenty of parking. There's large touch-screen menus for self-service. The dining area looked fairly clean and updated from my brief glance around.

Didn't use the self-service so I called to an employee for assistance. I asked for a specific item and she politely told me someone would help me shortly. Another employee came to the counter that was cordial while taking my order and getting me the specific item I wanted. The food was standard -edible- but the service was good.“

“Made a mistake on my mobile app that directed me to the navy base. I did not have access to the base and was not able to cancel or change Mc Donald locations for my order. The general manager Carol was so nice and went above and beyond her service. She insisted I get my moneys worth and met with me outside the base to give me my order. “Food here is what you would expect from McDonald's, hot, quick and cheap. Don't expect Michelin Star quality and flavor. The service is good, staff is great! Parking is plenty. Beware of the heavy foot traffic from transients. That is the only drawback at this location.“

“Very nice employees and their food is always at the highest quality. If they ever do make a mistake, they will own up to it, give you new food, and do it as fast as possible as to not hold you back or make you late. The inside is fairly clean.“

“I’ve had multiple experiences at this McDonald’s, and Amir has taken my order in the past as well and he has never gotten it wrong. Every single time, he’s been friendly, professional, and on top of everything, even when the store is super busy.

Amir keeps things running smoothly, makes sure orders are accurate, and brings a positive attitude that really stands out its amazing. It’s rare to see someone be this consistent in customer service, especially in a fast-paced environment. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing a great job.

“I have in past times wanted to give a 0 star due to an experience I had maybe a year ago or so. However, 3/24/2026 evening I ordered fish sandwich with extra ingredients at the drive through. I paid at the first window and was requested to move forward to the second window. After being at the second window, the crew member, who seemed to be I think like a taller guy, of who I did not get his name, and a young lady, nicely explained I would have to wait at the third window for my order. They or he actually was so sincere and kind with his request hoping I moved forward. A few customers did past me as I waited. Though, from the 1st window to the 2nd window and 3rd everyone was kind. All 3 interactions the crew provided excellent service and even the 2nd attempted solutions and care for my wait though a resolve to allow the restaurant to make a good sandwich. Excellent service to the evening staff and the guy of whom I do not know his name, may tall slim guy!!!! I will come here from now on though I am closer to Mission Gorge (Who's customer service is horrible! horrible, horrible!) This restaurant provides fresh, food, and good service!!! Thank you!!!“

“I use my McDonald's app for the first time and didn't exactly do things right so the girl at the window helped me, she was nice and patient. After she got my food order taking care of I drove up to the window, picked up my food.Pleased to find that my food was freshly cooked and hot.“

“I rate this particular location a four because it's inside Walmart and extremely busy also on this particular day the kiosk was not in sync with the locations inventory therefore I was denied a caramel frappe and a spicy chicken sandwich (out of stock). My advice is to order at the counter and not use the kiosk if you're going to the Walmart McDonald's in lemon Grove. One last note the double cheeseburger was a little dry.The gentleman at the counter was very pleasant and and possibly the manager I'm not sure but he was he was nice and explain things to me after I had already ordered and received my order.“

“food was good no issues. the only problem I encountered was I had to go up to the counter to ask for my missing items. when I asked they asked me if I had paid for them and I showed them my receipt. no condiments were accessible to self serve everything was kept behind the counter.“

“This McDonald's is excellent. The place is clean, the food is always well-made, and it is staffed by really great people that actually talk to you and make sure everything is going okay. Very professional, but it still feels like you're talking to people. They don't grimace or complain when you ask for something extra or make a custom order, they smile at you, and it really feels like an inviting place. It's run top-shape, like clockwork. Dining in is taken care of pretty quickly, and the drive-thru is speedy. They get your order correct and they are more than willing to make it right if someone made a mistake, but they always got it right for me. Great fast-food restaurant. “So far, best McDonald’s I’ve been too.… clean, and great service, even though I could see they were very busy. They even answered the phone when I called to ask if they took EBT. They do, and you can still get a deal if you look. Service was more like a regular restaurant, they even set extra condiments and a cup of ice aside when I asked. I had to look around a third time, just to make sure I was at McDonald’s and not some “high class” version in Japan. A+“
