This is a nice McDonald's aboard MCAS Miramar. So you will need base access to get to this location.The location is nice. It has a good drive through that usually runs pretty efficiently. The inside of the restaurant is also quite nice and has been updated.Why only three stars? The quality of the food is not consistent. 4 stars since the service here was better than at other McDonalds I've been to. The food tasted exactly the same (better than the reputation, but not great) as other McDonalds. Just better service. Plenty of parking too.

Drive thru: They forgot to give me my hash brown. It's so irritating because you want to move out of the window quickly but you have to double check your order. You HAVE to. Then you think it's just a hash brown... but the hash brown is more than $2. It all adds up. Why don't they ever accidentally GIVE me a hash brown?
