“We live near this winery and it is the only place I can find my FAVORITE wine. I refuse to say which wine it is because then it will sell out! I have turned all my friend's onto it & I am so thankful to have such nice & kind people running this winery. They have always been so generous with their pours & they have always figured out a way for me to get my hands on my favorite wine.

I also visit this winery when my family participates as a vendor during their craft/vendor fairs a couple times a year. I bring my daughter with me & sometimes a friend of hers & we always have a really great time.

I have been here several times, well, more than several times. Though I am not a member, I sure feel treated like I am a member. I have attended & held fundraisers here & I have been here for live music or just a quiet place to have girlfriend talk. I love that there are different things happening different days, but it isn't overwhelming like other wineries that get so incredibly busy that they lose their charm completely. I appreciate Koi Zen for the zen it brings me.

I would 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a place to enjoy wine with friends and/or family. Looking forward to my next visit, even though I just walked out with 3 bottles of my favorite wine tonight! Lisa & Darius & their staff are all great & deserve all the kudos. They all work really hard.

“Fabulous wine, don’t let the location discourage you. Once you park and walk in you are greeted by a friendly smile who will walk you through their menu of delicious wines. After a few quick tastings you will be matched with a wine that suits your desires and off you go. This low brow location is perfect for an after work bottle of wine, a ‘on vacation pour’, or a glass of award winning goodness. Take it from a person passing through, this place has delectable wines with an interesting backstory.“

“We love their sparkling rosé (firefly) and red wine! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and you can tell they genuinely love to share their wine with people! We joined their wine club and so excited to try those club member exclusive experiences!“

“My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at FruitCraft in November 2025, and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. We fell in love with FruitCraft the very first time we visited during their open house and booked our date that same day. We envisioned an intimate celebration with 50 guests, and FruitCraft delivered that perfectly. The entire planning process was seamless from start to finish.
The venue itself is stunning, with real plants hanging throughout the space, which meant we barely needed additional décor. The food was outstanding—made with top-quality ingredients—and the menu felt both unique and thoughtfully curated. The drinks were equally impressive and beautifully crafted. We enjoyed appetizers, dinner, drinks, cake, and even a late-night snack, all of which exceeded our expectations.
DJ Erick, bartender Alan, Mari and Alan were all very attentative. Their service and communication were exceptional. Ending the night at 10 p.m. was the perfect way to wrap up such a wonderful celebration. There was plenty of room to dance, and our friends and family had an amazing time. “The food, amazing as always. I recommend the pesto turkey panini, a long time favorite. For Wines, unicorn and the port. I also like that they have a few beers on tap for other pallets. The ambiance, vibe and venue itself are great. Don’t mind the airplanes, it adds to the San Diego metropolitan city thing. With this review really is about, is the service. We had a bachelorette party here Thursday and everything was amazing. Truly. Bernadette was on point for everything, always making sure our glasses were refilled, and helping with the flow of the event. Her and her teammates behind the bar Were so gracious and helpful and nice throughout the entire time. It made the experience so enjoyable. Thank you for the highest level of customer service, and care that you gave to our guests and our occasion. It’s unfortunate we had to move a couple of hours away from our favorite winery, but we will always stop by for a bottle and a friendly smile. Thank you again for everything! “What a great restaurant at the Bernardo Winery. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends for lunch before walking around the cute winery and do some shopping in the boutiques on site.

There are lots of outdoor tables to choose from and most are shaded. It opens at 11am and it was busy soon after. We went on a weekday too.
You can get wines from the tasting room or delicious coffee from Manzanita next door.

You order from the counter and your food will be delivered to your table. Everything we had was delicious though the pizza was a little on the burnt side from the wood fired oven.

Parking: There are two small parking lots and plenty of street parking.“
