“A toast to the New Year! What could be better than wine? A winery review, perhaps. Rancho Guejito opened its doors to the public five years ago.The property is made up of estate grapes and a grass-fed cattle ranch . The 32,000 acre rancho is part of a land grant from Mexico to the United States. The winery and vineyard offer tastings, which can be waived with a wine club membership. The cattle ranch provides for a portion of the food served on- site and they offer a meat program to take home. This has become my new favorite local spot to enjoy on the weekend. What is there not to like? Unique Varietals Wine Club (many benefits) Food On-Site Meat Program (beef variety) Live Music Hayrides (with wine pours) Open Seating Holiday Markets (change with each season) and Pet Friendly! I love their wines, my favorite is the red, Terret Noir. I love their meat, we make baja dogs and pot roasts. And, I love their atmosphere on-site, picnic tables spread out, music in the air and the hayride is sure to be a highlight for all Note: The markets here have an array of quality vendors. The Christmas market example included everything from honey, paint your own ornaments to photos with Santa! Cheers to the New Year! #RanchoGuejito # SanPasqualValley #TerretNoir #BeansandHanks #OnA HayrideTogetherWithYou“
“We made a quick trip in on our way to a wedding party. The grounds, tasting room and views were very nice. The wines were ok, nothing I would be in a hurry to purchase to take home. The highlight was the cat "Pinot Grigio" who was adorable and welcomed some pets. Overall a nice boutique wine tasting experience.“
“Despite coming in a gloomy day, I'm so glad I made a stop before heading back home here. The prices were reasonable, the wine was good, and there is live music! Not to mention they have charcuterie boards, pizza, and plenty of fire pits to keep you warm. Great service, and I can't wait to visit again on a clearer day.“
“Small but beautiful winery. Very good if you want something more quiet and peaceful. We chose the white flight but the nice man working allowed us to taste the sparkling rose on the red flight menu as well and it was delicious. Perfect place for a romantic, solo, or family date!“
“This is the kind of place I want to support! Jerry and Rosie are so incredibly sweet and expressed that they run this winery out of passion and not profit. We went on a rainy quiet day and they took us in as if we were family. They also treated us to some additional wines to taste which was very generous. It was an experience we won't forget, and we will definitely be back.“
“This is an amazing winery. Stumbled upon this gem after spending the day at the Safari Zoo Park. Wonderful wines (didn’t taste a bad one and hard to choose a favorite) and ambiance. Loved it so much that we became members of the Thirsty Kettle Club and shipped 6 fabulous bottles home. We spent some time talking w the owner, Jeannine…so personable and a true class act. Told us of the story of how they came about, what an incredible family story. To Mike the winemaker: great job!! Your bottles are fabulous!!! ❤️“

“Excellent atmosphere and wines. We've been coming back on a regular basis for a little afternoon relaxation. Favorites are the Merlot, Vermentino and Viognier. Owner is very nice, grounds are charming and the whole vibe is excellent. Great place to meet some locals.“
