As a born and raised local I’m blessed to be gladly welcomed always showing respect first. “The Subway sandwich makers at this location are the best! I eat subway all over the place because it's good food and it's consistent. I have worked near this location on MCAS Miramar for nay years and eat here often, and I have to say this location has some of the best representatives Subway has to offer. They are always greeting the patrons that eat here with a smile and a great attitude, even with the Covid mask rules...no matter how busy they are and they are fantastic with their service. “Pinky and Bing, best employes ever!! I had a really good experience at this pub and would definitely recommend it. The first thing that stood out to me was how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Everyone was polite, attentive, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Great customer service can completely change an experience, and the team here did an excellent job.

The location is also very convenient and easy to access. Another big advantage is the parking. There is plenty of parking available, which makes visiting much more relaxing, especially during busy hours when finding a parking space can be frustrating.

One thing I really appreciated was that they have clean restrooms. Surprisingly, many pubs either don't have restrooms available for customers or they aren't maintained very well. Here, the restroom was clean and well-kept, which made a great impression and showed that they care about the overall customer experience.

The entire place felt clean, organized, and comfortable. The atmosphere was enjoyable, making it a nice place to spend time with friends or simply relax after a long day. Between the excellent staff, convenient location, easy parking, and clean facilities, this pub offers everything I look for.

Overall, I had a very positive experience and would be happy to come back again. If you're looking for a welcoming pub with great service, a good location, convenient parking, and clean restrooms, I think this is an excellent choice.“

“I normally don’t leave a review for fast food restaurants but this subway is completely different from all. The customer service was amazing, the manager (Genesis) was so sweet and respectful. The quality of the food tasted fresh and the cucumber was fresh and crunchy.“

“I wanted to give a shout out to Naomi. We visited on 8/12/25 between hours of 330pm and 430pm. When we walked in there were about 4 people in front of us and she was the only person who was making sandwiches. After we arrived. I would say close to 15 more guest came in behind us throughout our visit. Naomi being the only employee clearly saw the volume of people and she continued to maintain an level of professionalism that would be acknowledged as a good representation of the Subway brand. “I've been coming to this Subway for a while and usually order online before heading over. The lunch crowd can get pretty busy, which tells me this location is popular and doing something right. Even with the rush, my orders are typically ready close to the pickup time and made correctly.
The staff stays focused and works hard to keep up with demand.“

“Definitely one of the better Subway locations I’ve been to in a long time. It was super clean inside, the staff were friendly and moving quickly, and there was a steady flow of customers. Have to emphasize the high level of cleanliness here and the very good service.

I ordered a salad based on the turkey sandwich, and added every veggie except pickles, plus olive oil and red wine vinegar on the side. It’s kind of small for $10.54 after tax (see receipt), but I was in a pinch for something as I forgot my main part of my lunch at home.

Overall the salad ingredients were really fresh, and once mixed, it tasted pretty good overall. With my three hard boiled eggs I brought from home, it was a pretty filling and solid meal.

I give this Subway a 4.33/5 stars (high for any fast food honestly) and definitely think it’s one of the better locations in all of San Diego city.“

“Recently been here to try subway for the first time and honestly it was a great experience, and it was only possible due to the amazing customer service provided by Bryan. I was unsure on what to get so I told Bryan to do what he wants to my sub, as long as it’s good. I did not regret it telling him that as it was the best sub I’ve ever had.“

“Ivan, the only employee at the store while I was there, was great. Friendly, greeted everyone that came in, and apologized for the subtle wait a few people had. Online orders were flying in, but he prioritized people who had been waiting a long time in person. It’s rare that happens these days. “This location is convenient for anyone working or living within a four mile radius. There is a full shopping mall here with several eateries and a grocery store. The lot is huge, so plenty of parking, even during holiday season.

This Subway has a couple of women who work the day shift like pros. They make a sandwich like it’s nobody’s business and not once have they ever messed it up. I have busted this store more times than I can count on my fingers and toes, so it’s about time I gave them their props! Way to go girls. “When i went to this subway, I was attended by this lady I believe her name is Miriam. Surprisingly, she was alone and it was super busy I felt bad that she had to deal with that. Although it was super busy she attended me with patience and kindness! 10/10 customer service!“

“Close to my apartment and every time I go there isn't a line which I am thankful for. Great place for lunch or a quick bite of a classic sub. I usually order the meatball marinara and add lettuce and avocado. Depending on my mood, I will sometimes get it toasted.“

“I typically don’t give fast food spots 5/5 stars, just because it’s hard to justify in the context of everything I’ve reviewed food-wise. On top of that, I haven’t been to a Subway in years, and usually clown on it for being a pretty sad sub sandwich experience. However, I was totally surprised by my experience at this location, which I’ve somehow never been inside of although I go to the gym next door.

The interior and the sandwich preparation area were both immaculately clean. It was absolutely spotless in here, which isn’t my typical Subway experience. The guy working was really genuinely nice too and we had a good interaction.

It turned out that the sub I wanted — oven-roasted turkey — was the daily special, so I was able to get a footlong for $7. I got it on wheat with everything plus mustard and salt & pepper. The sandwich tasted truly fresh, which isn’t also outside of my remembered experience from Subway visits of yesteryear.

Overall, really top-notch Subway location that actually earns 5/5 stars in the context of fast food.“

“The food renders nourishment and the staff is friendly and their service adds a positive element to your day. This place is also a conveniently placed location with a toilet. Sometimes your on your way to town when suddenly alarms start to blare in your lower guts. "Uh oh!", you cry. But rest assured, the toilet here is in working order and usually stocked with toilet paper, hand washing station and soap. Although the toilet seat is a bit small, it nevertheless ends up being a lifesaver.“

“I stopped in for a quick lunch to go and ordered the Ultimate Italian BMT special of the day on Parmesan Oregano bread, with chips and a drink for $10.99. The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and everything was made just the way I asked.

But what really stood out was Angelina’s customer service.

She was incredibly polite, welcoming, attentive, sweet, and professional from the moment I walked in. She made what could have been an ordinary stop feel genuinely pleasant. It’s rare to come across someone who carries that level of care and positive energy in a fast-paced environment.

We came in and she was helping a customer with several sandwiches all alone and she went above and beyond for them while they were super demanding and rude. She kept her composure and never once had a change in attitude. She’s an example of A++ customer service.

“Jessie did a great job today. I came in and already there were 3 people ahead of me. Then while standing there she said it's only me and I gave another order I am working on which is 3 subs in one order but going to multi task. She did so she got the customers taken care of and the large order all done before me and was apologizing the whole time. I told her you are doing great. “I've gone to this location for a few times now over the last few months because I got a job near the border and this is on my way. The food is great but so is the service, which is very rare when it comes to Subway stores. Sometimes I go in the morning and there are two people who are both really nice, always welcoming and always smiling which eases you especially for someone who is new to the area like me. One of them suggested I get the BMT and it was delicious. Plus, the vegetables look great and also taste good. This store makes you feel not guilty for not eating at home. Keep up the good work!“

“I personally have had a nice experience the two times I’ve been here. Each time the sandwiches were made as ordered. Maybe not the way I would want it to be (Even with ingredients so each bite is similar to the next.), but at least they don’t miss ingredients like many other fast food places - And there are a bunch of ingredients that I ask for. Reason it’s not 5 stars is because the service isn’t great. Only the first time was I greeted.

“This location prefers and encourages you to use a kiosk to order, it feels a bit dumb and weird. Especially since the interface doesn’t allow you to build a sub how most people typically place an Order at subway. However it was a bit nice to take a seat while the worked on my order and everyone else’s. Especially since when I first arrived they were pretty busy an definitely would’ve been standing inline for 5-10minutes with out the kiosk.“
