“This Subway is not the closest to my home, but this is the location I usually go to if I'm in the mood for Subway.Unfortunately, my experiences at the Subway closest to me (near Kearny High School) have not been good. That is why I don't mind driving a few minutes farther for better service.The service and sandwiches here (in Claremont Mesa, off the 805 freeway), from my experiences, have been consistently good. There are several young women that usually take my order and they always do a good job.Most recently, I ordered "The Outlaw" which is pretty much a Philly, but with pepper jack cheese and Baja Chipotle sauce (instead of American cheese and mayo). I told my server the sandwich I wanted and selected my bread type (Italian herb and cheese with jalapenos), and then it was placed in the oven.After it was toasted, I requested some additional veggies and condiments and I was good to go. I paid and was in and out of there in no time.Service is good, the employees have all been friendly and pleasant. Another thing I like about this location is that the tables are consistently pretty clean.Parking is not a problem here. “What a great place to order from! I needed 28 sandwiches for students for a field trip. We were able to order online a couple of days before, and I was able to pick them up at 7:45 am. So glad they open at 6! Before driving over my one concern was that in the past, the lunches were in boxes. But I was really happy that all the lunches were in bags and in a handy reusable bag! It was really simple, Blackforest ham and cheese on Italian bread, Doritos, and a chocolate chip cookie! My students were happy! I was happy! The two women who were working were friendly and cheerful and I appreciated that especially this early in the morning! I will definitely order from them again!“

“I feel like fast food joints only get reviewed when they screw up. I'm on a quest to shout out some great "normal" fast food experiences. I Had to be on the freeway in a flash the other day but was starving the other day. Of course Urbane was slammed, so I ran in to my trusty Subway. “Came in Jan 6, 2023 so hungry and almost closing time. The employee did not turn us away and was very nice. He even let us sit and eat until we're finish. That was the quickest 7 minutes I had to eat a 6" sandwich. Lol. Did not want to stay longer than necessary since I'm sure the guy was tired and has a family to go home to. He showed us hospitality in the food service. All employees should be like him. He turned off all lights and closed the shop right after we left, past 10pm. Thank you! Appreciate it!!!“

I've been to this location a few times in this past month, has anyone seen them actually slicing meat as advertised on the door? I haven't tasted a difference or seen any difference in the meat. “I went to this Subway location July 20th - July 22nd during San-Diego Comic Con for lunch because it was in walking distance from the Convention Center and it was super quick and affordable. The service by all the staff was unmatched. They all were quick, efficient and made sure we were in there less than 10 minutes during one of the busiest times of the year. Everyone was awesome, attentive and respectful about keeping the line moving without hurrying anyone. This was my second year at SDCC where we used this Subway as a lunch spot and I’ll continue to do so every year I’m out there. “I'm a regular visitor to this Subway and I have been for many years now. It's been the same solid sandwiches and respectful employees every time. (The only thing that has changed is the price, and now one custom turkey footlong costs $12 without a tip. Wow.) The cookies are great after the sandwich and I think I won't stop coming to the Subway. Every time I get a sandwich, I either get enough in my sandwich, or a bit extra, and the employee never puts very little of any ingredient, which I appreciate. “Everyone knows the Subway brand, but some franchises are ran better than others. Being in the food court on a Navy Base guarantees foot traffic and processes should be worked out to manage long lines. This spot is still figuring it out. You can find yourself watching them work independently vice as a team and that results in you waiting forever. Fingers crossed they find their rhythm.“

“My girlfriend and I don't eat fast food too much but when we do we love going to Subway. I know they're not the best sandwiches around but they always have a soft spot in my heart. I remember as a kid my dad would always take me to Subway to get sandwiches. He loved the sandwiches here more than I did but I would tell him that I loved it just as much as him also. It's sometimes a hit and miss with the person making the sandwiches but today it was good. Service was quick and I was in and out here within 25 minutes. I always like this location because they make their food fast and it's fresh. It's not like that at all the locations. This location is very clean so I come here pretty often whatever I'm in the neighborhood.“

“The food renders nourishment and the staff is friendly and their service adds a positive element to your day. This place is also a conveniently placed location with a toilet. Sometimes your on your way to town when suddenly alarms start to blare in your lower guts. "Uh oh!", you cry. But rest assured, the toilet here is in working order and usually stocked with toilet paper, hand washing station and soap. Although the toilet seat is a bit small, it nevertheless ends up being a lifesaver.“

The female worker that prepared my sub needed her energy level to be better for customer to feel welcome. Almost walked out due to the service but was craving a tuna sub after long day at the DMV. When I came in yesterday and ordered my usual Veggie Delite on wheat, I asked for "everything except onions and the super-hot-peppers" (for some reason I can never remember the word "jalapenos"). That's when I would typically hear "but peppercinis are OK?" and I would then say "Yes." It should have been a red flag to me yesterday when I didn't hear the typical "but peppercinis are OK?" reply. “I've eaten here a few times when visiting a friend and I have to say it's a pretty good deal. It can get very busy depending on the time of day, but they are pretty good about getting the line moving when it is busy. I like that they have the same deals as any other subway. $6.00 deal includes select 6 inch sub, drink and chips. Not bad to be honest. Friendly service. I have had really good service especially being on a campus. All in all, if you want a good deal on healthier food, this is the place.“

“I had to stay in town for a 6 week stretch while girlfriend visited doctors here. Was good to find my favorite lunch stop, since I frequent the one in Palm Springs al the time. This place was just like home. Friendly greeting upon entry. And that warm toasty bread is so good. I always get the same. Sweet onion chicken teriyaki on a 6 inch bun. Toast the shredded cheese. Add three kinds of sauces on top and it makes for a great meal. Add a bag of bbq chips and get a few chocolate chop cookies. Get the cup of sweet tea with lots ofbice. Sooo good. Love it.“
