“Absolutely love the variety of combos. It allows you to have some of everything in one order. Food was hot and freshly served. Thumbs up on the Mac n cheese, candied yams with my order. They ran out of catfish at the days end today otherwise, It would have been my 2nd consecutive order. Also loved the signature taste of the chicken, and the fact that it was very hot and freshly served. I eat more at home than I do out, but many of their items are like home cooked so I will be back! Much love!“

“Found this place at San Diego December nights 2023 and fell in love. Went back today to check out the actual restaurant and the food is even better. Absolutely love this place and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier / helpful.“

“If you’re looking for authentic flavor, this is it. Everything was a 10/10. The fried chicken and fish were seasoned perfectly and had that ideal crunch. The mac n cheese was a standout—rich, creamy, and clearly made with love. The sides like the yams and greens tasted just like home. That peach cobbler! Yum 😋 Definitely coming back and definitely worth the 30 minute wait!“
