“My family always comes here any time we are in San diego. Its easily the best Nepalese food I've ever had and it's consistently good every single time I'm here. I usually get the buttered chicken or the lamb curry which are always amazing, but I'm sure that anything off the menu is good. The service is good, the workers are kind, the place is clean and it has a nice atmosphere as well. And most importantly the cheese naan is a must.“

“I work nearby and we love to come here for lunch. They just added a lunch buffet and it is definitely great for vegetarians with lots of options. There were only three meat dishes which was a little disappointing, but it was still good and well worth the money.“

“Genuinely surprised on how good this place was I’ve been to many Indian food places and this one takes the cake. The service was fast the waiter was so nice and the portions were big I was more than satisfied please if you can give it try.(ps. The mango lassi comes in a big glass extra points)“

“I went here for lunch with the whole family on a Saturday. They were out of the Himalayan Chicken Wings, which looked like the most interesting item on the menu so that was disappointing.
The steamed chicken momo was probably my favorite thing that we ordered. The size was a little small and you only get 8 pieces but the taste was one of the best in SoCal. Tandoori was a bit dry.
The bhai who was working at the time was nice and super helpful. 5 stars because of him.“

“I’m not usually adventurous when it comes to food and tend to stick to familiar, non-exotic menus, but I went to Himalaya House with family and honestly didn’t regret it at all. The food was delicious and extremely flavorful—some of it actually reminded me of Mexican dishes I grew up with in the best way.
Our server was very attentive and sweet, and the whole experience felt welcoming. The space has a nice mix of classic Himalayan and modern touches, which made the atmosphere really enjoyable.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I’d definitely come back.“
