Madras Cafe offered a very kind service, and very fresh and high quality chola bhatura (a little hot, not spicy), dosa, and birani as well as chicken tikka masala. When my father said the dish was too spicy, they were quick to return and remake it at the level that was instantly more appealing. Will be back again.“

“My family always comes here any time we are in San diego. Its easily the best Nepalese food I've ever had and it's consistently good every single time I'm here. I usually get the buttered chicken or the lamb curry which are always amazing, but I'm sure that anything off the menu is good. The service is good, the workers are kind, the place is clean and it has a nice atmosphere as well. And most importantly the cheese naan is a must.“

“I’ve ordered from this place several times, and it’s become one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving Indian street food. That said, I’ve learned that it can be a bit hit or miss depending on what you order. My absolute favorites are the peri peri fries and the cheese vada pav, I’ve ordered both multiple times, and they always hit the spot. The fries have the perfect amount of spice, and the cheese vada pav is just so satisfying. The papdi chaat was also really good. It was packed well for takeout with all the chutneys kept separate, so everything stayed fresh until I got home. The paneer sandwich had good flavor, but I personally found it a little too greasy. As for the Schezwan noodles, they were freshly made, but the flavor just wasn’t for me. I keep coming back because the dishes I love are really good, even if not everything on the menu is a winner for me.“

“I went to Royal India yesterday for Mothers Day and had a wonderful satisfying meal. I highly recommend the Lamb Biryanis and the Vegetable Korma. Both were excellent. “I went here for lunch with the whole family on a Saturday. They were out of the Himalayan Chicken Wings, which looked like the most interesting item on the menu so that was disappointing.

The steamed chicken momo was probably my favorite thing that we ordered. The size was a little small and you only get 8 pieces but the taste was one of the best in SoCal. Tandoori was a bit dry.
