“Wow, talk about flavor, hospitality and so authentic! Maast has the friendliest, attentive staff, and the food was incredible. We got the grilled tandoori masala chicken sandwhich, samosas, and korma chicken burrito. The highlight was easily the queso chips and the queso fries, you MUST get these. Can’t want to explore their whole menu.“

“This place is a hidden gem! My family and I recently dined here and the food and the service was beyond our expectations. The service was great and very prompt. The food was made fresh and had a lot of flavor. We ordered Indo-Chinese appetizers, curry with paneer, fried rice, and butter garlic naan. Everything was excellent and the size of the naan was huge. They were very soft and served hot. The flavor in all the dishes was great. Traditionally, food at Indian restaurants is very mediocre and bland in taste. Flavors here were well balanced. And best of all, the price was very reasonable per entree. Most places charge upwards to $20 per curry entree, and provide very small quantities. Here it was around $12-$14, with good quantity. The only draw back was that this restaurant is located next to a smoke shop, and with the restaurants main door open with barely any AC working, smoke traveled inside the restaurant and it was very annoying to be in that atmosphere, especially with little kids. But the restaurant server was kind enough to keep the door closed and tried to adjust the AC unit to provide some air in an otherwise stuffy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place. We sure will be visiting again soon.“

“We ordered and shared the Karol Bagh vegetarian thali. Found the portions to be just right. Saag Paneer, Paneer Tikka Masala and Chana Masala were served hot, and was delicious (not too spicy.) Naan melted in your mouth. Turmeric rice was also nicely cooked and complimented the curries. Best part: we got free masala chai. All this for $19 (and if you sign up as a new member with your app, you get $5 off.) BTW, Kids eat free Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 8 pm.“

“Natraj’s is our FAVORITE place to eat in SoCal!“
“Vishnu Catering did a spectacular job at the event that I planned for ~100 people in Santa Barbara. They showed up on time, prepared, and were very professional to work with throughout the entire process. We haven't even gotten to the food yet - every single person at the event (desi and non-desi) enjoyed the food and praised the food to us. Of note, the rasmalai, double ka meetha, mutton curry, mango daal, chai, apollo fish, mango lassi, chicken tikka masala, paneer makhani, aloo gobi, and more. You can't go wrong by choosing Vishnu Catering for your event. They were a hit. Thanks Ram, for all the effort and for helping making our day so special.“

“So delicious! Where else can you get vegan tikka masala, butter tofu, saag tofu.. tell me, I wanna know! So hard to find. So pleased they offer so many vegan options beyond the normal chana, dal, bhindi, aloo we usually get. I missed having a creamy, rich tikka! The tofu butter masala was my favorite (at least I think I was that one - the darker orange one). Closest to a tikka one might have had before going vegan. Absolutely loved it. Called and confirmed everything on the "Indian Vegan Cafe" menu is 100% vegan. I bet you can also just go to Southern Spice and sit down and order it. I'll have to try someday. I did pickup after placing a GrubHub order - be warned, it seemed to take longer than the non vegan orders, wasn't ready quite when the app said it was. Not really a "ghost kitchen"... really just Southern Spice's vegan menu but separated into a different name for ordering. TLDR - highly recommend, especially if you're craving more creamy (but vegan!) Indian curries! Updated from previous review on 2023-06-08“
