“Superb food and awesome service. We ordered Kashmiri dum aloo, Bhindi masala, malai kofta, Sahi paneer saag matar, assorted bread etc- everything came out so tasty. All of us enjoyed the food, drinks and amazing service. Mr. Puri Ali and their team always make it special.“
“Food 5*Vibe 3*Service 5*Dont judge based on the restaurants interior location. this is by far THE BEST Pakistani Restaurant in Southern California.Their Karahi chicken, grilled meats, and garlic naan combo is legendary and a MUST try. There is a bit of spice to it, but nothing a glass of Mango lassi cant take care of.“
“I love this place! My partner and I often come here for the lunch special, but my favorite thing to order is Matter Paneer for dinner! Tried many places before deciding this was THE ONE.Vegetarian options: I think they have a great selection of vegetarian items! My favorites are aloo goblin, matter panner, and the vegetable korma!“
“It's hard to find Indian/Nepalese (aka Himalayan) restaurants. It's basically Indian food with even more flavor. This place definitely lives up to the expectations. The food is incredibly flavorful, the naan is awesome, and they even have a few draft beers to boot!“
“Visited with in laws during our trip to socal this Easter break. I thought it was at the Irvine spectrum but it was closer to the industrial center and thus, easier parking (although may hard to find at first). I can tell this place is hectic during the business day lunch break. Order at the counter then wait for your food; ours was not a long wait on a Saturday at 4pm. Many options. Many many many! So take your time and be adventurous but always, always get the mint chuntney. Flavors will rock your socks off. I think this business model would lend itself to fast expansion like Cava or Chipotle so I wish all the best to the staff and ownership. Very approachable, easy to enjoy Indian food (albeit not maybe 100% authentic, but it’s still very satisfying)“
“The best Indian food I have eaten so far since I moved from India which has been over 13 years . We were just visiting LA and our kids love to eat Indian food so we found this restaurant on google and landed here. The food was one of a kind .All the staff and the owner are very kind , polite and hospitable . The owner is very friendly and makes sure everyone is having a good time . I know where to go now if I am craving for an authentic Indian meal ?. If I was living in California , I would be here at least one day of the week . Food has true flavors of indian spices . It definitely feels like the food has been made with so much love . The service was really quick . We were super hungry and barely had to wait for our meals to arrive . I am in love with the food . I would 110% recommend this restaurant ❤️“
“Today was my second time at this restaurant. Service always so fast and friendly. Food is delicious and high end. You can order off the menu or select from the hot items on the steam table. I ordered a two item combo. The to go containers are prepared by the employee behind the counter. The curry chicken, navratan korma , rice, and garlic naan are pleasant to smell and packed with delicious flavor. They deserve a chef's kiss. I'll return soon!“
“Masala Bae offers a delightful solution for Indian food lovers on a budget. Their all-you-can-eat option provides excellent value without compromising on quality or variety. With a diverse selection of curries, including both meat and vegan options, every palate is catered to. The rich, flavorful curries burst with aromatic spices, delivering an authentic culinary experience. Don't miss out on pairing your curry with their delectable garlic naan, a perfect complement to the meal. And for dessert, indulge in their heavenly mango creations, reminiscent of a refreshing mango smoothie combined with creamy mango goodness. Masala Bae truly elevates the dining experience with their affordable yet delicious offerings.“
“So glad we found this place during our trip to Cali! Cozy atmosphere, wonderful service, and delicious food! We had the kadai chicken, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. Generous portion sizes and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back!“
“My family and I recently decided to explore a new dining option, Khan Saab, following high praise from my sister. Our experience at Khan Saab was thoroughly enjoyable, living up to the anticipation. We delved into a variety of dishes from their menu, finding each selection delightful. The Butter Chicken stood out for its excellence, though a tad more sweetness could elevate it from excellent to outstanding. Both the Garlic and Plain Naan were scrumptious, perfectly complementing the mains. The Chicken 65 was flawlessly executed, and the Paneer dish matched this high standard of culinary excellence. The Mango Mojito, while great, was noted for its smaller serving size, leaving us wanting more. The Pani Puri was a hit among the family, universally loved for its authentic taste. The service at Khan Saab added to our positive experience, characterized by friendliness and efficiency, with all our dishes arriving swiftly. In summary, our visit to Khan Saab was a delightful culinary journey, marked by delicious food and exemplary service. A slight adjustment to the sweetness of the Butter Chicken and serving size of the Mango Mojito could enhance the dining experience even further.“
“Exceptional service from “Mr. Ghovind”. They went above and beyond to ensure our order was perfect. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was cooked to perfection and arrived promptly. Will definitely be back and requesting “Mr. Ghovind” again! He definitely deserves higher pay. 5 stars isn't enough - they deserve 10 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Amazing service and great food at such an good price. They offered us samples of their dishes and offered to alter spice levels for the Al LA carte items. They also filled the containers to the brim and were friendly and kind the whole time. Will definitely come back for the best Indian food nearby!“
“This is the place in Orange, California for Indian food lovers and fanatics. The food is extraordinary, the staff is very kind and helpful. Kumar was patient and helpful offering samples to help make my decision. They have options for vegan, vegetarian or protein lovers. The recipes definitely taste old-school and authentic to the Indian heritage. The dishes explode with real flavor and give you the full complete Indian food experience. There is seating inside if you want to eat at the restaurant. Easy access off W. Chapman Ave.If you are looking for an authentic Indian restaurant, your journey ends here. This is now my go to Indian restaurant when I am in Orange California.Highly recommendedVegetarian options: Ask, but they have vegetarian optionsParking: Parking out front“
“Indigo is an absolute must-visit for Indian food enthusiasts! The chicken Tika Masala, garlic naan, and chicken wings were excellent, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. The cozy ambiance and friendly service make it the perfect spot for a delightful dining experience or take-out. Highly recommend!“
“The goat Bryanni was the best Bryanni in my life I highly recommend it ! It's very authentic homemade taste and not greasy and it doesn't make you sleepy afterwards. very very very very goooood!!!!! I will be back again for sure ((:“
“The food was delicious! I took my entire family to try the different kinds of biryanis and everyone loved the flavor, aroma and taste of them. It can be a little spicy for folks who don't eat it and the staff here are really considerate of that. This place is a must visit for anyone who likes biryani.“
“Beginner friendly: this was my first indian restaurant, and I happily return. Always Delicious, Always Fresh, Always kind to me and my friends. I upgrade for garlic Naan . I have chicken Makhani , Tikka masala, and vindaloo. try Chana masala and aloo Gobi for vegan. I love that the rice is cooked well. Rice pudding is so yummy. I love taking leftovers to reheat. This food is incredible and nourishing. I usually have fountain drink but i see their drink menu is actually quite nice...Vegetarian options: aloo gobi is potato and cauliflower. chana masala is chickpea“
“Service was excellent, food was tasty. Chicken biryani could have been better. Less chicken than expected. Naan was buttery and tasty. Paneer makhani tasted excellent. Fast service. Wood recommend for anyone near Disneyland looking for good indian food.“
“Hands-down the best Indian/Nepalese food I've been able to find in OC! I often get take-out from here. Every dish I've tried has been fantastic. Amar and the staff there are so friendly and kind. Always a joy to interact with them! The Kashmiri cherry almond Naan is heaven...I've never had anything like it before!I will be back for the rest of my life.Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian and there are so many fantastic options! I've still yet to try all of them!“
“Went here on the 4th of July weekend for lunch. The service was quick maybe because the restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered a couple of curries, roti, naan and mango lassi. Mango lassi was the best I would say. The paneer makhni was too tangy and tasted tomato all over. Dal tadka was slightly watery and could be thicker.Good place for a quick bite. Would definitely try again to give them another chance.“
“This past weekend, my brother invited my mom and I to eat at India Gate. It was my first time going, and I'm so glad I tagged along! The food was delicious, and I loved that they had so many options for those who are vegetarian. I'm personally not vegetarian, but my mom is so to see they had so many options for her was really nice. Not many restaurants cater to those who are vegetarian, but India Gate definitely does.I personally ended up eating more of the vegetarian options than the meat options and did not miss the meat one bit. The vegetarian options were just as satisfying, if not more satisfying than their meat filled counterparts. The fresh Naan was also SO delicious! It was fresh and so soft. It paired perfectly with all the food they had to offer. The best part is it's unlimited so you can have all the Naan your heart desires. I personally had a good couple of pieces and do not regret it one bit.To top off the delicious food, I had some of their mango pudding, which had mixed fruit in it. It was the perfect way to wrap up an already delicious meal. I have to admit, it was so good I had two servings of it. Sorry, not sorry. Once you taste it, you'll understand why I loved it so much. With that said, if you love Indian Food and are on the fence about trying India Gate, don't be. I say try it at least once. I'm sure you won't be disappointed by the food or service. The establishment itself isn't anything fancy, but the food is SO good, I could care less. The restaurant may not be Instagram worthy, but the food sure is. There was not one thing I tried that I didn't like. Every single thing was delicious. I highly recommend it.And for $15.99 per person for all you can eat, you cannot complain! Their price is an amazing price for an all you can eat establishment. I definitely recommend checking it out at least once, and yes, I know I'm repeating myself at this point, but it's SO good, I must insist everyone try it at least once. Just once. You won't regret it. Try it and you can thank me later. ;)P.S. I have no pics because the food was SO good, I forgot to take pics. Next time, I'll definitely make an effort to take pics, because there will for sure be a next time and I cannot wait for it!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and all are delicious!!“
“The food was an explosion of flavor! We ordered Chicken Curry, Chicken Kastoori, Chicken Fried Rice, and Onion Kulcha. The chicken was so tender and so many different flavors. I have had Chicken fried rice at a LOT of different places but this was truly unique and had so many different flavors going on.The menus posted a year ago by Krunal Patel are still current as of 3/23/2024“
“This place is so good compared to other places I have tried, great flavors, great portions, and food looks really good. It can get crowded that’s and seats will be take that’s the only little bad thing. I got chicken curry, tandoori and garlic naan it was really good.“
“The food is extremely good! The service is extremely friendly and attentive. Ambiance is casual. The chicken tikka masala is super creamy and filled with tender juicy chicken. Entree is enough to feed 2 if not 3. Chicken momos were delicious! Extremely plump and juicy. I didn't love the sauce that came with it. It was tangy and felt a bit carbonated. The carbonation to it was a little off putting but the flavor was there. I hope that I didn't get served a bad batch so I'll assume that the sparklingness to it was intended. The rice was very aromatic and fluffy. Garlic naan was delicious! Very crispy in the outside with a generous portion of garlic and the inside was soft and perfectly chewy. I'd come here again! Super reasonable pricing. The business is tucked away so be sure to keep an eye out. Plenty of parking in the area. Service is a bit slow but that's because it's a family owned and operated business. I don't mind waiting for the food to come out. So worth the wait. If you're in a hurry, call ahead or order online.“
“BEST NIGHT IVE HAD IN AWHILE! THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS BUT THE TOILET.. OH THE TOILET WAS SOMETHING I HAVENT SEEN IN AWHILE. NEVER HAVE IVE SEEN A BATHROOM LIKE THAT! LEMME TELL YOU THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND FRESH BUT THE TOILET WAS EXQUISITE!!“
“Despite its fast-casual setup, this is one of my favourite places to order Indian food. The chicken biryani is delicious with fragrant basmati rice and juicy chicken chunks. I also like the bite-sized and large versions of the crunchy samosas. I'm a huge fan of street food, and Curry Up Now does it best.“
“Great place for Indian food, I tried different dishes here my favorite one is fried rice and thali. Prices are reasonable and service is good. South Indian menu is also delicious. Parking is never a problem but in peak hours you may need to park a bit away from restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly.“
“For all Indian food lovers, come try this delicious Indian cuisine. For $17.95 all you can eat buffet everyday from 11am to 7 pm.Excellent food very fresh and I highly recommend. They have the highest rating in Orange County. Their chicken tikka and chicken masala are very good. Also I love the tandoori chicken.Give it a try you’ll be back again.“
“The food was delicious with quick service! We were a family of three with a 9yo son, we ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala along with some rice and naan. The owners are humble people, down to earth and make good food recommendations on request. Highly recommend this Indian restaurant if you are in the area to visit Disneyland.“
“Vishnu Catering did a spectacular job at the event that I planned for ~100 people in Santa Barbara. They showed up on time, prepared, and were very professional to work with throughout the entire process. We haven't even gotten to the food yet - every single person at the event (desi and non-desi) enjoyed the food and praised the food to us. Of note, the rasmalai, double ka meetha, mutton curry, mango daal, chai, apollo fish, mango lassi, chicken tikka masala, paneer makhani, aloo gobi, and more. You can't go wrong by choosing Vishnu Catering for your event. They were a hit. Thanks Ram, for all the effort and for helping making our day so special.“
“Saturday was my first time trying the food here. Overall it was pretty good. I did the lunch combo that came with two entrees and rice with a side of bread. They do charge an upcharge for the garlic bread. I highly suggest just getting the regular bread and ordering a side of garlic bread because then you get double the bread for the price of the upcharge. The food overall was great... if you are in the mood for Indian food or something with curry then definitely hit this place up.“
“I’ve never write a review to any place ever, but this place really worth to be reviewed. The food and the service are perfect!!!!I suggest everyone to visit here if they are a fan of indian food. They have the best modern Indian dished with a prettiest design ever.I don’t know the server name (she was a blond lady) she was soo professional!!!!!!Loveeee this placee!!!!“
“It's a reasonable lunch for the price. It's a cute buffet and although it doesn't have a lot of variety, the food is delicious. The naan was so delicious. You can park right in front and to the side without any problems. Lunch is from 11:00am to 2:30pm and costs $17.95. There is only one outdoor magnet... If the weather is warm, the shade of the trees is a good place^^“
“Some of the best North Indian food in OC. I always eat until I'm in a food coma here, it's that good. Fragrant and delicious paneer tikka masala and buttered naan are my recommendations to try here. The paneer fry and vegetable kabobs are a great starter, and pakoras. The restaurant also has ample space to use for hosting events and are very helpful in party/event planning!“
“By far the best authentic vegetarian food in SoCal. Everything is extremely delicious. Don't let the vegetarian part scare you. You will not miss any meat here. It's really that good. Plenty of deserts and sweets as well that will bring asmil to your Face. You won't be disapointed.“
“This is a hidden restaurant of authentic Indian curries and I'm sure it guarantees the most quality and flavor in the area. I had chicken marquee and vandalu combo number four and I feel healthy! If you're in Irvine, make sure you visit this place!!“
“So I was in the area and I was little hungry. Because of my diet restrictions. I was looking for something to eat. And luckily I saw this hidden gem. The moment I entered the store the The gentleman on the register welcomed me. I asked him about what can I eat he suggested me garbanzo and some fresh made tandoori oven bread. He explained me how they make fresh bread with whole wheat flour. The only make the bread after they get the orders. I was excited. When they serve my food, a little bit of onion with the tint of lemon and sprinkled spices. It smelled good. After the first bite I was blown away. I finished the food it was amazing. They're so nice that the lady at the counter ask me if I want a little bit of more garbanzo. When I was at the register I asked the gentleman if they have any ready spices to make garbanzo at home, his answer was negative but I got a pleasure to meet the chef who has 20 years of experience in cooking Indian authentic food. He was also very humble, his mustache and sense of humor reminded me of my uncle back in Egypt. It was a wonderful experience, the price was like nothing, what more can you expect. I will definitely come back to this place and recommend anybody who want to eat less oily well cooked fresh Indian food. I forgot the name of the chef So I'll call him " k " But I know the gentleman at the register his name is Amor. He and the lady up front made my visit a wonderful experience. Tenstairs for the food, five stars for the service and I'm going to visit them again next week because I have a meeting near Disneyland next week.“
“My first visit to the Anaheim packing district. Adya caught my eye with a great selection of Indian delicacies. I chose shrimp curry (flavorful coconut based) and lamb curry (spicy and tender abounding in flavor with deeper reddish brown color) with rice. The portions were smaller than I imagined them to be, but filling nonetheless. Generous portion of basmati rice.“
“An oddly authentic atmosphere staffed by 100% Hispanic workers. The lunch special is a good deal. Wish they would give you real plates though.Vegetarian options: I think you'll have an easy timeDietary restrictions: seems ok with celiacs and nondairy.Parking: pretty easyKid-friendliness: it's food, but there's nothing targeted at childrenWheelchair accessibility: seems fine, even the bathroom“
