“This is a tiny shop hidden in the corner of a strip mall. They sell snacks and appetizers. We just came for the fried samosas. They did not disappoint!! Made to order, they were perfectly crispy and light. The 10 piece order came with two sauces. I really like the green sauce, it had a nice kick that complements the samosa. The reddish brown sauce is a little on the sweet side. Service was efficient and the guy at the front was nice, he wasn't bothered when we ordered more food to go.“
“I eat Indian food a couple of times a month. There's a great place in Inglewood for Indian food, when I lived around there. However, it is too far now and too expensive for casual eating.I have some friends who are Indian who sometimes make really amazing dishes.Punjabi hits the button on being close and price. It's a bargain for what you get. They even give you a nice little dessert! The sauces could be more spicy. They are toned down for the locale. Im sure if I ask for extra spicy, they'd do so, but it works as it is for my family to eat.If you want some Indian food to hit the spot without breaking the bank, give this place a shot. Just ask for extra spice or extra spice seasoning on the side if you like it to burn.“
“Exquisite ambience, innovative food and nice service! Went there for the dinner on Valentine’s and it was worth every penny. The dishes are really innovative and still have that touch of Indian food. Apt and balanced spices. Loved the way they have put in so much efforts in improvising the dishes.I ordered butter chicken pot pie, garlic naan, dum biryani, death by chocolate.Dessert was a 3/5 though, it wasn’t really that tasty.“
“The food and service at the new location are just as wonderful as the original location. I look forward to more of my favorite dishes coming over. For now, I am enjoying trying new dishes and the lunch specials are a great deal. The team members are extremely friendly/inviting, and I always enjoy their recommendations.“
“It is easy to miss this place driving by as it is small and located next to Udupi, a well known South Indian restaurant chain. Parking can be challenging on a busy afternoon but that is the case with most restaurants on Pioneer. The place itself is relatively new but the food is amongst the best I have had in the United States. We came in hungry and was greeted by the friendly owner who took our order and explained the menu items to us. We ordered the papdi chaat and the Maharaja Thali, both of which were delicious and bursting with contrasting flavors. We really enjoyed the three types of roti, baatis, daal and the spicy red chutney. Each bite tasted distinct and you could taste the quality of homemade Rajastani food. Sampling different items on the Thali was an experience in and of itself.I don't understand what some of these poorly written, negative reviews are about. As someone who likes to dine out, the prices are more than fair and the portions are filling. Maybe the service was a bit slow during peak hours but those are things that can be easily fixed. I am not a vegetarian but I loved their food. Maybe other restaurants in the area need to do some quality control instead of serving stale food, delivering poor & inconsistent service and expecting that the customers will somehow keep returning. Leaving fake reviews on a family-owned restaurant trying to drive them out of business is really trashy and makes you look petty more than anything else.Vegetarian options: All items on the menu are vegetarian and made with plant-based ingredients. May contain dairy and nuts for those with allergies.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian, plant-based, gluten-free options.Parking: Depends on the day. Weekends are busiest.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, wheelchair accessible“
“Incredible food. Absolutely delicious dishes and warm, friendly service. Accommodations for special diets available. Chicken Coconut Curry and Lamb Biryani were excellent. Finished the meal off with Gulab Jaman and Handsome's Spiced Coffee. Will return again and again and highly recommend to all. Thank you, Indian Restaurant and Gary, for your help.“
“I was out in Whittier today and found this sppt that opened a few months ago! I found parking right in front and the owner was super friendly. He also offered samples and they were good. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and Spinach&Cheese on my 2 item plate with Garlic Naan! Everything was fresh and delicious the Garlic Naan was also huge and amazing. Will definitely be back for more Indian food in the future!“
“OMG!! our 1st time eating Indian food and we ordered the Chicken Madras and Karahi Gosht and the dishes were so so good!! the white rice was cooked perfect. we loved it. Next time we will come in to eat dinner for sure. The dishes were perfect!!! compliments to the “
“BEST CURRY around. Best curry in all of LA that I've tried and thankfully their prices are acceptable for our family to be able to come here and eat. Highly recommend. Tikka Masala is excellent and garlic naan is yummy. If bringing children they will likely be able to handle the masala but be sure to sample anything else to test the spiciness. I enjoy it All but not everyone has the same pallet. I almost always eat in the parking lot in my car because it's too good to wait to get home! I'm writing this review from my car after thoroughly enjoying yet another meal from Curry Hut La Mirada. Thanks again!“
“First time here, ordered Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken itself was good, the sauce was too sweet for my liking. Garlic naan was really good.I will not fault the restaurant for the sauce, this is the way they make it,and it’s not bad by any means, just too sweet for my tastes.“
“I am never disappointed when I order food from Appu's Cafe. I have tried almost everything on the menu and found it to be delicious, a good value for the price, and always ready on-time when I order online. The staff is kind and pleasant and very accomodating (sometimes I need to ask for the spice level to go down a few levels!). Excellent value all the way around!“
“When I first went here 3 years ago for the first time, it was tempting, never had Indian food in my life, and decided to try it here..My goodness, best Indian food experience!!For my first ever order was their 'Chicken Clove' curry with rice, garlic Naan, and their amazing, creamy 'Mango Lassi'Their Mango Lassi, one of my top favorite drinks in general, sometimes I even go there to get their mango lassi, amazing!!“
“We love CURRY! We just arrived here from Florida and are so hungry. Curry Hut was so gracious and helped us out with Chicken Tikka Masala, Potatoes and Cauliflower and fresh rice and two large pieces of Garlic Naan! Everything was yummy!!! Support this amazing restaurant!“
“My fiancé (he's Indian) and I have lived in LA for over two years now and we had yet to find any good Indian places that were to our satisfaction, until now! We're so happy that Amaravathi Express is here! The flavors are on point and well balanced and the service is impeccable. We've already been back twice and already looking forward to our next trip back, which is an hour drive and still totally worth it for quality Indian food.“
“Vegetarian friendly menu. We usually order the saag paneer, mushroom masala, yellow daal, naan and the fries rice. Portions are good size and everything is seasoned well. We took my sister in law and her husband and they said best Indian food they've had!“
“The best Chicken Tikka Marsala I have ever tasted. The Butter Chicken & Goat Curry were excellent as well. You have to try the Mango Lassi drink & the Garlic Naan bread. It is a must. The service was friendly and they were happy to share samples and talk about the menu. A lot of locals came in and the staff greeted them with nice to see you again etc. Every time I went I was able to parking in the 1hour parking in front. Thank you & until next time!“
“Best place to have authentic vegetarian food. You will feel like home food. No fancy and unhealthy food colors or spices. I love it. The person named Meet is usually the one on counter and he is so attentive that you will like the experience.“

“We visited this place while shopping in the area and were pleased by the food they serve here. I have not found any other place that serves kulcha like this place. Other dishes are equally good to have. We have visited twice so far and have not been disappointed. The food is made to order, with generous filling in their paratha and kulcha. I would recommend to go eat at this place if you are start remembering the 'paraunthe' you get in Punjab.“
“Went back a second time and tried the Chicken Behrani off the lunch special menu. Once again, the food was bomb and the amazing service is always such an unexpected surprise but very much appreciated. Their lunch menu is $12.99 and has a bunch of other options to check out. I will definitely be stopping by whenever I am in the area for work.“
“R Banquet provided catering services for 2 of my wedding events (Sangeet and Reception). Rohit has such a wide variety of items on his menu that we were able to create two completely different menus. His food is impeccable. We constantly received compliments all week about how good the food was. He was always in contact with us throughout the day of the event to make sure everything was meeting expectations. We could not ask for anything more and highly recommend his services!!“
“Arm The Punjab Restaurant offers an unparalleled culinary experience, and their signature touch lies in their incredibly pungent onions. Every dish bursts with flavor thanks to these onions, adding a depth and richness that is truly remarkable. “Woo hoo! Now THIS place is truly and utterly "ah-mazing". The India Restaurant is not only drop dead gorgeous, but the service is 5-Star all the way! The India truly comprises the best of everything, the food, the decor and the top-notch service. Now I have to say I am not an Indian food expert, but everything and I mean everything I tasted, was delicious. The staff seemed to anticipate our every need. Indeed, my 5 year old granddaughter said she was thirsty even before we sat down and one of the staff must have heard her and immediately brought her her own cup (with lid and straw!) of water without even being asked! Impressive. The Nan bread was exceptional and all the different dishes we had, from butter chicken to chicken Tiki Masala and several others, were perfection itself. I wish I would have gotten the names of the staff so I could commend them individually, but it was a busy family table, so...suffice it to say they were ALL marvelous, professional but kind. I am sooo going back! Butter chicken here I come! ☆☆☆☆☆+Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian, however I sampled several vegetarian dishes my daughter in law had ordered and they were DELICIOUS! I may just have to go a little vegetarian next time! Lol!Kid-friendliness: The staff treated my 5 year old granddaughter and 19 month grandson with kindness and respect, indeed they anticipated their needs immediately and brought both of them their own water cups with lid and straw, without being asked!“
“Loved the biryani!! Thai tea was good, they forgot to add cream\milk in the Thai tea but then we spoke to them and they fixed it. The Malai Chicken tandoori was the one of the best Indian dishes I have ever had. The chicken 65 and the shrimp tandoori was delicious too. Overall it was a good meal.“
“First time ever having Thali and I gotta say there wasn't one dish I didn't enjoy! Service is great and the Mango Lassi was among the best I've had.Private parking lot with plenty of space makes it easy to access. I'd def come back.“
