“First time trying Indian food and I love it. The curry I got is so full of flavor and the garlic naan on its own was so delicious and filling as well as the rice. But when you add everything together it just completely makes your day. Seriously. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who hasn't had Indian food before. As a sidenote there is some spiciness in the curry but nothing I couldn't handle. If you can't handle spicy food though then definitely make sure the curry doesn't have any before ordering, that's all.“

“I come here once a month to stock up on Indian food. The frozen curries are enough for 2 or 3 meals each with rice. the samosas are great and the lentil soup or dal is great for protein! I'll also buy a masala Dosa or idli's to eat with a mango lassie before going home. It's a great deal!“

“I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The menu is vast, there are options for vegetarians and meat eaters. North Indian, South Indian, and Specialty recipes you can only get here. Plus if you want to try traditional Indian beer, there are so many options for everyone to try. The staff is so nice and the design of the restaurant is incredible. Definitely swing by. “The food was tasty but there were some disappointments- we asked very clearly for very spicy and I made it clear that my wife is from Thailand and we are both accustomed to eating extremely spicy food. The food was not very spicy at all. I was disappointed by the lack of condiments and chutneys and also disappointed they brought so much bread at once and never offered fresh, so it was no longer warm and crispy by the time we finished. These are things I would overlook at a budget restaurant but this isn’t a budget restaurant. The food was good but I don’t think we’ll be back“

“Went here the other day to try it for the first time! I tried a two-combination plate with one vegetable curry, one chicken and cilantro curry, rice, and a side of garlic naan. It was delicious! I'd say the pricing is worth the quality, as it was incredibly tasty, fresh, and good portion sizing. I also got a mango lassi drink; definitely don't regret it!

“So I was in the area and I was little hungry. Because of my diet restrictions. I was looking for something to eat. And luckily I saw this hidden gem. The moment I entered the store the The gentleman on the register welcomed me. I asked him about what can I eat he suggested me garbanzo and some fresh made tandoori oven bread. He explained me how they make fresh bread with whole wheat flour. The only make the bread after they get the orders. I was excited. When they serve my food, a little bit of onion with the tint of lemon and sprinkled spices. It smelled good. After the first bite I was blown away. I finished the food it was amazing. They're so nice that the lady at the counter ask me if I want a little bit of more garbanzo. When I was at the register I asked the gentleman if they have any ready spices to make garbanzo at home, his answer was negative but I got a pleasure to meet the chef who has 20 years of experience in cooking Indian authentic food. He was also very humble, his mustache and sense of humor reminded me of my uncle back in Egypt. It was a wonderful experience, the price was like nothing, what more can you expect. I will definitely come back to this place and recommend anybody who want to eat less oily well cooked fresh Indian food. I forgot the name of the chef So I'll call him " k " But I know the gentleman at the register his name is Amor. He and the lady up front made my visit a wonderful experience. Tenstairs for the food, five stars for the service and I'm going to visit them again next week because I have a meeting near Disneyland next week.“

“We love the Pista House so much that we drive the 45 minutes from Beverly Hills to Artesia every other weekend JUST for their authentic Hyderabadi Goat Biriyani. Their spicy curry is so good. Sometimes it's less or more spicy but always delicious. The Goat Chukka is a new favorite. The service is great too, they are very friendly and accommodating to our requests for extra limes, onions, raita etc. The decor is pretty basic but it's clean and we are really there for the food. It's easily our favorite place to eat in Los Angeles and we have tried pretty much every Indian restaurant in LA, because the spices are on point here and the flavor hits every time. It's really the best Biriyani, so come here if you like Indian food.“
