“Tldr; Amazing food, super friendly service, generously seasoned and reasonable pricing especially for quality. Get the jeera rice

Was in Artesia with a friend to try some good Indian food and we found it. I got the Shahi Paneer and my friend got a spiced cauliflower dish I can't remember the name of and both were absolutely beyond. I also can't recommend the jeera rice enough, maybe my favorite way to have rice now and they do not season lightly. Server was super sweet and was happy to explain anything we had questions on which is especially nice since I will say yes to anything food related. Also very accommodating for vegetarian/vegans which is a huge bonus. Can't wait to come back and try more :)“

“The dinner exceeded expectations from start to finish, with the kebabs standing out as a true highlight — perfectly cooked, light, and packed with flavor. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the meal, adding to the overall experience.

“If you are craving genuine street-food nostalgia, this is the spot.
Hands down, they serve the absolute best Vada Pav in the US! The very first bite instantly transports you straight to the streets of Mumbai, the vada is perfectly seasoned with that crisp golden exterior, tucked into soft pav which they make inhouse with just the right mix of spicy garlic chutney and green chutney. It is pure perfection!

Beyond the Vada Pav, their Gujarati farsan is shockingly authentic, from Khaman, white dhokla to Patra!

If you’re looking for that warm comfort of home and a genuine hit of nostalgia, you must visit. We will definitely be back again and again!“

“We were on a trip to LA and really wanted to have a proper South Indian food for lunch. We chose this place based on the reviews. We dined on a weekday noon. It was not very busy. We orders thali , parotta kurma , poori bhaji and punugulu. Every item was very fresh and tasty. Meals in particular was very authentic. The thali came with rice, sambhar, poriyal, dal, vital , more kuzhambu, papad , sweet. They serve unlimited meals ( they do check with you if you need a second serving) The staff were very friendly and checked on us every now and then. They made sure we got everything. The food was so good we digged in right away, hence no pics !! Tea was delicious too. We would have dined here again if we had stayed close by. If you are looking for a comfort South Indian food , this would be the place.“

“Fabulous food and great service. Well worth a visit. This is a nice family run restaurant in strip mall in Cerritos with the typical “hole in the wall”. the prices are good and everything is made from scratch- which makes the food more delicious. excellent bullet garlic naan bread. Really good. Palak paneer also top notch. However the samosa chaat is outstanding as is the Masala chai( sweet and spicy even with no sugar as we requested)- yum. Top notch food and great service - we really felt welcomed and loved!“

“I come here once a month to stock up on Indian food. The frozen curries are enough for 2 or 3 meals each with rice. the samosas are great and the lentil soup or dal is great for protein! I'll also buy a masala Dosa or idli's to eat with a mango lassie before going home. It's a great deal!“

“The food was amazing and definitely worth the price. I came a few months ago and it’s still as good as i remember it. I would definitely recommend this place for whoever wants to try something new. There was also exceptional service and quality. I would give this place overall 10/10.“

“This place is the best Indian food I’ve had in Southern California. The chicken tikka is so good and so are the samosas!“

“The food was tasty but there were some disappointments- we asked very clearly for very spicy and I made it clear that my wife is from Thailand and we are both accustomed to eating extremely spicy food. The food was not very spicy at all. I was disappointed by the lack of condiments and chutneys and also disappointed they brought so much bread at once and never offered fresh, so it was no longer warm and crispy by the time we finished. These are things I would overlook at a budget restaurant but this isn’t a budget restaurant. The food was good but I don’t think we’ll be back“

“I came from canada and I was driving around to look for some Indian food that's where I saw curry time and spoke to the host Amita MONGA and the way she welcomed me was unbelievable and the food that she recommended was so mouth watering that I couldn't resist and took some food for home as well for my family Must try thief food“

“We want to thank Hemal, Hetal, Saumil and the entire Rasraj team for being amazing caterers for our wedding day and reception! Hemal, Hetal, and Saumil worked with us months in advance to create an amazing all-day wedding menu that was unique, delicious, and incredibly creative. They walked us through numerous options and ideas during our tasting with our family and were extremely professional and on top of things on the big day.

The food was absolutely delicious! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the dishes, and we even had family from India commenting that some of the entrees were the best they had ever had. The fun presentations, like drinks and appetizers served pre-ceremony, were a big hit and added a special touch to the event.

Rasraj was fully prepared with all the equipment and supplies and arrived on time, ensuring that no one went hungry. The service was seamless, and their attention to detail was impressive. If you’re looking for amazing catering for your wedding or event, look no further than Rasraj! Thanks so much, Hemal, Hetal, Saumil and the Rasraj team!“
