“My family and I went to this restaurant yesterday and we HIGHLY recommend it!! We got 3 kinds of curry dishes (curry chicken, tikka masala, and korma) and they were all delicious! We even ordered extra to have for lunch the next day. We also tried the raita, rice pudding and this mango ice cream dessert and they were so good and the flavors are incredible. The raita was so fresh! Our server was so sweet, she always made sure our drinks were filled and was patient and kind- plus she made the recommendation for the mango ice cream dessert and we loved it (Pic below)! Oh and the garlic cilantro naan was fire!!! We will be back!“

We were greeted to a friendly hello and smile by Kristina when we first entered the restaurant. We chose a table at the window and Kristina offered us menus and water and gave us time to make our selections and answer our questions.

“Indian/Nepalese cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines. I am South African and grew up eating eating variety of traditional curries and stews. I travel a lot for work and have had the fortune of trying some of the best Indian restaurants in the nation, including dozens of places in SoCal. Everest Himalayan Cuisine is by far, the best restaurant I've ever been to. This cozy casual restaurant opened in November originally for take-out. I am a big fan of dine-in, so I was excited to find out that they recently opened for dine-in. I came with my best friend (we're always looking for new favorite restaurants). We decided to get a couple things to share. Started off with the Lamb Momos. They were such a wonderful treat. For Entrees, we went with the Lamb Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken with Cilantro Garlic Naan. While eating our Momos, an adjacent table received their Tandoori Chicken and Lamb. It smelled and sounded so good, we decided that we would have to order more (we also ordered Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tandoori). Our food came, and when I dipped my Naan into the sauce, I nearly cried it was so good. It reminded me of a better version of my grandmas famous Tikka Masala. It's was then, that I knew this would become my new favorite place. It was so flavorful and luscious. All the meat was so tender. The Naan was supple, while pillowy and stretchy at the same time, (clearly proofed perfectly). Every dish we tried was the best iteration of the dish I've ever had. I usually order my food quite spicy (9-10), but if you like a flavorful warm heat, get a 5 to 7. We ordered another order of the Cilantro Garlic Naan to get every bit of the sauce. I know I'll be back soon. I really would like to try more of their dishes and their desserts. They also have a nice Lunch Special, I'd like to try. “Pretty standard Indian food, probably a bit better than average overall, but at an absolutely incredible price/value, especially for 2026 - entrees were around $15 when we went. Their naan was also quite unique, being a lot lighter and crunchier than you might expect.

Decor was a bit outdated, and it seemed like most of their business was for takeout or delivery.“

“Honestly this place will be added to my list of best Indian cuisine ever! Very nice atmosphere, even though it’s a small spot! Food was ordered at the counter and brought out right away! The owner is kind and offered me a Complementary drink on the house I denied it! the food was more than enough for me and it was honestly amazing will be coming back again highly recommend the Tiki masala And the garlic naan is not soggy. “I went for the lunch buffet and thought the food was great! My friend who recommended this place said “they only have ~10 items, but every item is done extremely well”. So while I initially wanted to go to an Indian buffet to experience more types of the food (I’m not too familiar with Indian food), I still finished extremely impressed and satisfied because I loved almost all of the options!

They also make you fresh naan or garlic naan, included in the buffet. The garlic naan smelled so good when it came out! They didn’t have samosas at the buffet when I went, but they had these fried, breaded veggie bite things. Those were very good on their own and dipped in the various curries. The staff were very nice too.“

“Stumbled on Hyderabad Cafe on August 17th during a two-month work stint in Carlsbad, and I have been hooked ever since. The staff is super warm and helpful, gladly making my non-veg lunch special and juicy tandoori kababs totally mild with zero spice. The food tastes amazing and real, finishing off with sweet badam milk. Awesome service and food from the staff, they were very friendly!“

“This little hole in the wall is a gem! I walked in and immediately saw signs of beautiful authenticity. If you are looking for white-washed, Americanized Indian food, then this may not be your jam. But if you want the real thing, please plan a visit to Bombay Cafe. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken and the Lamb Tikka Masala. Both dishes were fantastic. The presentation of the Tandoori was particularly impressive!

Don’t plan your visit here with fast food timing in mind; everything is made to order. In fact, you can watch your chef cook your food through a glass window! When you read the menu, understand that everything is separate; we ordered Basmati rice and garlic naan to go with our dishes!

“They use olive oil, butter, and ghee. I called multiple Indian restaurants locally, and they were the only ones who don't use cheap oil - soybean oil. It makes a difference with taste as well, the food was phenomenal and flavorful. The quality of the food here is really high, and it was such a treat to be able to order anything and have sea food options like calamari!“
