Amazing food with such a wonderful mission! Highly recommend!
I happened to be in the North Park area today when I came across this place on Google Maps. It immediately caught my attention because it's a non-profit restaurant dedicated to serving healthy, high-quality food to the community, so I decided to give it a try.

The food was incredible! Living very close by, I will definitely return. There was outstanding depth of flavor in each dish ordered. You could tell the ingredients were fresh. They take care in making the food. I've had most of the food available in North Park and this is at the top.

SciEats (Nonprofit Eatery) is a non-profit restaurant dedicated to serving healthy, high-quality food to the community. The food is outstanding, with ingredients and preparation that exceed expectations. The service is among the best in California. The owner, a scientist in the pharmaceutical field whose true passion is cooking, started this project to make a meaningful impact by offering nutritious, high-quality food at an affordable price. He personally checks on guests and explains all of his dishes and how they are made, taking great pride in his food.
The food is incredible, delicious, and healthy. There is outstanding depth of flavor in each dish. The ingredients are fresh, and the food is not processed with no added sugars. Everything is prepared from scratch with whole food ingredients. Meals mentioned include chicken tikka masala, fermented lentil pops, a colorful, nutrient dense salad, strawberry, and berry cream delights, Paneen Tika Masala, and the Haleem. The desserts should not be skipped. The meal is flavorful and nutritious, not too heavy but filling with just the right amount of spice. The owners are nice and friendly with a real passion for educating people about the health benefits from the food they serve. This is a wonderful establishment with tremendous heart and an incredible mission. Highly recommended.
