Himalayan Spice & Savor Indian Cuisine is a new and welcome addition to the Pacific Beach neighborhood, quickly regarded by many as the best Indian restaurant in the area. The food is consistently fabulous, absolutely delicious, and outstanding, with a large selection. Every dish bursts with authentic, flavorful, and perfectly balanced taste, offering both amazing classics and unique specialties. Favorites include the flavorful and creamy Chicken Tikka Masala, the perfectly spiced Butter Chicken, the spicy and unique Lamb/Chicken Vindaloo, and the refreshing twist of Coconut Chicken Curry. The extensive selection of Indian breads, especially the garlic and chili Bullet Naan, cheese naan, and garlic naan, is perfect for soaking up the incredible sauces. The blend of spices and sauces is incredible. Portions are generous, pricing feels right, and the value is great. While one reviewer found the food just good and not spectacular, noting a lunch special was worth it with a discount, the overwhelming consensus is that the restaurant is a true treasure.
