“Love this place! She goes to the Saturday Little Italy Farmer's market and love that basque cheesecake, and the Alfajores (cookies). I tried to order online but seems the timing is never right or the order gets cancelled so I stuck with just going on Saturday's to pick up what she has in stock. For sure will be back.“
“Some of the best empanadas we’ve ever had! Delicious! We tried just about all of the varieties. Kids liked the chicken, beef, 5 cheese and Margherita the best. My husband and I loved the chipotle chicken, mushroom, and spicy beef. I regret not trying the jackfruit but we were just too full. The prices were great, and we ate on the patio which was lovely. We will definitely be back!“
“Had a birthday dinner for my daughter there. Food was good & the gentleman that brought us water & kept asking us if we needed anything was polite & helpful. But a litte hiccup one with the waitress that took the order. Other than that it was a great evening. Loved the atmosphere. Thanks.“
“Had to pay a visit here after taking a mini tour around UCSD after both accidentally discovering this place about a year ago, and from word of mouth by a friend of mine who also came around last year.As a first timer, I decided to try with one of the basics & not go for anything crazy as I didn't know what to expect. I went for the Chicken Chipotle empanada with a side of chimichurri sauce along with a cup of Yerba Maté Lemonade.Overall, it was a 10/10, and I ended up bringing a box of empanadas on my Amtrak ride back to LA. Next time I come back to SD, I'm trying out the other flavors!“
“Great flavor and selection. Don't forget the Chimichurri it's all good. Received good recommendations from server/cashier. Went with 3 for $10.95 (or you can get 1 @ $3.90) beef, spicy beef and spinach. I preferred the regular chimichurri over the Chipotle and the white creamy one. It's located on the Public Market at liberty station so it's very casual. 3 empanadas was a bit much for one person cuz they were pretty filling and I would've liked to try some other things at the market. So if that's something you may want to do get one if solo but there if sharing.“
“Stopped in here on a whim and experienced the best empanada ever! The owner recommended lamb, and it was truly phenomenal. So juicy and memorable! The owner was also great and offered us a bacon egg and cheese empanada too, which was also great. Would highly recommend!“
“Right next to Pure Project brewery. You can take out empanadas and pair with the beers at the Project! My first time and tried the beef with their spicy chimichurri. Very flavorful. Buttery and slightly flaky dough. YUM! Many different flavors to choose from at a reasonable price. They also have a location on C Street downtown. Just go!“
