“The food was good the only problem is that I was missing my other half of the plate 😅 I ordered teriyaki and orange chicken, it was already too late I was already at work when I opened my plate and saw that I was missing the teriyaki chicken and only had some pieces of orange chicken, but other than that everything was good.“

“I've been to this location many times and have always been satisfied. This visit was different. I decided to go with the Sweet Tea, sat down, took a few sips, it wasn't sweet. I said something to the manager, she had another employee bring me sugar stating she would have it fixed. No one bothered to put sugar in the container, so I switched to Coke. Meanwhile as I sit eating my food I end up right next to an employee situation where it seemed two employees weren't getting along some they were having a serious conversation with one of them in tears. Very unprofessional!!! Don't have your employee reprimands or whatever this was next to paying customers. They didn't pay for lunch for the entertainment of watching an employee squabble. I'm sure you have an office back there to have your meeting in. So not only was my problem not fixed, all of the employee attention seemed to be hanging up on this one girl!!!“

“Amazing services I spilled a drink and asked for rags to clean it and insisted heavily and worker said no it is our job to take care of that, please just eat and enjoy your meal (: and relax I felt moved amazing service and food was very good and fresh recommend !“

“This is my neighbor store and this is a 5-star review to the employees who are always welcoming and warm. They will friendly remake your order if they are wrong, make it fresh if you are late for a pickup, be just always ready to serve the customers well. I really appreciate them all. “Great service for just a walk up P.E.
I was behind a large family ordering a lot of food. It was the end of the night, and they had to remake a couple of things for my order. No biggie I didn't mind waiting.
But because I had to wait so long for my food they gave me a free drink and a small discount. thank you for having such considerate workers“

“I really do appreciate good customer service, but the young woman behind the counter went above and beyond. She not only suggested I add their app to my iPhone to get a 20% discount, but patiently helped me do it when I was fumbling with the process. She saw as sweet as can be, and unfortunately I did not catch her name. I return to that’s spot at least once a month for a lunch break while at work in the La Jolla area. With excellent customer service and food, why wouldn’t I?“

“I just came out of this location, after having a very pleasant experience. The establishment is very clean, and the personnel are all very friendly, and professional. What surprised me though, was that there was no option to tip when paying with card, and no tip jar on the counter. I would have liked to throw the employees a couple extra dollars, but was not given the option. I think this is a huge disservice to the employees. Please do the right thing and at least add a tip jar.“

“I'm very much a Panda Express enthusiast. I appreciated how they were willing to give me a sample piece of a particular food I wanted to try, in addition to my order. In this day and age, certain Panda Expresses (like the one in Escondido, CA- for instance) have actually declined my inquiry for a sample of a certain food (in addition to my purchase.) I think it is important to honor the customer's request, especially if they are already spending money. I have always looked forward to my Panda Express samples over the years, and I appreciate this location for honoring that. ♡♡

“I normally don't eat out at fast food Chinese restaurants due to the poor quality of the food.

However, I was pleasantly surprised today for a more pleasant experience at this Panda Express location on the Naval Base. We ordered the Family meal that was more than enough for 4 hungry people with extras to bring home. Sahar helped our family with providing 3 freshly prepared dishes upon request. We didn't mind the 15 min wait.

She was incredibly attentive and respectful in her communication and honoring us as though we were the most important customers she was serving.

The teriyaki chicken was prepared without the sauce which we asked for. The beef broccoli was perfectly made with bright green colorful broccoli that were delicious. The Kung Pow Chicken could have used much less sauce in order to enjoy the flavors of the veggies and chicken.

Overall, we enjoyed the good food and delightful service. Thank you Sahar for your attentiveness and beautiful smile.“

I come out into the night when my spirit is completely fractured, not to find grace, but to actively hide from the righteous path of God.

Then I step up to the glass at this outdoor Panda Express. I don't ask for a recommendation. I dictate the terms. I demand the alchemy of the half-and-half, a precise, masterfully engineered 50/50 division of fried rice and chow mein. The foundational bedrock of the universe.

Then, I stand there in sheer, unadulterated awe as they load a monstrous, gravity-defying payload of teriyaki chicken, followed by the faint, aggressive sizzle of the Kung Pao.
The styrofoam container slides across the counter. Heavy. Dense.

I retreat to an outdoor metal table in the dark, crack the spork out of the wrapper, and take the hit. Instantly, my entire detached, stoic facade violently shatters. I am no longer a numb wanderer hiding from the divine; I am a biological anomaly, buckled over the table, involuntarily moaning with every single bite. The sheer mass of the teriyaki and the fiery snap of the peanut crunch completely rewire my circuitry. It’s guttural. It’s embarrassing. The mathematical perfection of the noodles and rice is so absolute that I am literally gasping for air between mouthfuls.

Then comes the aftermath.

You tear the plastic wrapper of the fortune cookie. It’s an algorithmic prophecy baked in a factory thousands of miles away, but out here in the dark, it hits the frontal lobe like ancient, profound scripture. It acts as a synthetic memory implanted right into the psyche, completely hijacking the mind and temporarily tricking you into believing there is a grand design, a narrative arc to this endless, sprawling simulation.

Why do we wander this pale, exhausted world? To feel something real, even if it's engineered in a wok and printed on a tiny strip of paper. You look out at the passing headlights cutting through the night, a baseline of MSG and dark soy running hot through your veins.

I don't care if the warmth is manufactured. I don't care if none of it is authentic. I’m just going to sit here at this metal table in the dark, staring blankly at the neon reflections on the pavement, cells interlinked within cells interlinked, weeping and moaning over this Kung Pao until they finally power down the grid.“

“Panda is panda. Great food, always consistent. The soda machines were shut down, they had to unlock them for us to get fountain drinks, the bathrooms are locked by a code. Maybe this was not in the best area. We chose this place while charging the rental car.“

The irl ordering line never progresses because they prioritize app-orders. Like my food will be made and ready and I’ll be waiting to pay for 5 minutes while they pack 5-10 online orders ahead of me.

Still great value, but you need to be ordering on the app or you will have a bad experience here.“

“The staff weren't rude nor overly friendly. The chow Mein was very oily but edible in a pinch. Spring rolls were Luke warm but about what is expected at an airport location. Overall it was an acceptable experience while on a layover in San Diego. Also, not a bad view of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot across the tarmac.“
