Thankfully the food as always has kept it’s stunning Italian resemblance. Unfortunately the customer service the establishment presents does not align with the quality of its food. When I made a visit a few days ago for my birthday it just seemed as if they wanted my party to vacate the restaurant as soon as possible. I felt extremely uncomfortable and was not presented with the friendly attitude I had become accustomed to with this restaurant. Maybe it was a management change?
Just visited post pandemic hoping that nothing has changed. Happy to report that their Calzones are still amazing and just like they have been for the past years! Highly highly recommend the Calzone! Nothing comes close to it in SD!
So broken hearted this place closed. Just read about it. I bought pizza months ago and never went a year without it. My boyfriend now husband brought me here 36 years ago. The pizza was perfection. The sauce had like a wine sauce. The dough was delicious. The owners need to come back. I am totally lost. Anyone have a close suggestion??? I mean it survived Covid while others closed. That tells you something!!
