“What an amazing place! The food is soooo amazing and the staff there are so kind and helpful! Beautiful location. Great place to grab lunch then go for a beautiful walk to spanish landing park! “I have eaten lunch twice in two weeks at the Shawarma Guys Mira Mesa location. It certainly exceeded it's reputation which I learned about from Gareth Eats channel on YouTube. I ordered the Wagyu Beef Shawarma Pita (Bryan's Way). It was outstanding, and the garlic sauce was finger linkin good. The following week I ordered the Chicken Cream Chop Shawarma Pita (Bryan's Way) and it was absolutely delicious with that lemon garlic sauce. Make sure to order it Bryan's Way. It comes wrapped in aluminum foil, over a foot long, toasted to crispy perfection on all sides. Keep the foil wrapper on while you eat it, otherwise you make a mess on the table, because it's so crispy, and you don't want to miss a single crispy bite.
One fact we discovered with great delight was they do not use any 'seed oils' in their cooking. That's an important healthful living detail.
The restaurant's seating area is small with efficient long tables seating 6 people per table, about 30 people maximum. There's a lot of take-away service happening here too. The staff took their time explaining all the choices to us, and gave us their favorite recommendations. We loved it and look forward to making this a regular spot. The space was very clean, bright, with plenty of extra sauce for the asking. It's not fancy inside, but it's delicious and worth the visit.“
