“On the inside, this Jack In The Box is very similar to any other Jack In The Box in most ways except there is way more room. It feels more like going to your friends house and dining in the living room on a game night or some special event.On the outside this is a beautifully designed Jack In The Box that doesn't look like it belongs in an industrial park, more like a neighborhood restaurant.The food was made to order, fresh and delicious...except...I must have come on a day when the soda machine hadn't been cleaned or was not functioning properly because none of the drinks tasted good.The staff too seemed blazey, because the lady at the counter seemed as if she couldn't care less if someone came to her workplace and wanted to buy something. To bad.Overall, I enjoyed my experience.Parking: The parking lot wasn't busy, however the drive thru was and parking was no problem.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu options, indicative of a Jack In The Box menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Pathways to the front door were easy to navigate and ramped.“
“Jack kind of sucks, but this location is better than average. Primarily what i mean by that is they get you in and out quickly, which to me the reason the call it fast food is because the fast is more important than the food.The one thing that sucks though, and other restraunts in the area have this problem, they have one of those coke machines with a zillion flavors, but like theyre always out of syrups so your options are like diet rootbeer, diet minute maid, and diet orange soda or something else no one wants. “The management is super awesome. He has a winning attitude and a contagious happiness. Comes in to give his team dabs and the whole neighborhood enjoys his presence. “There are a few employees that are not service oriented and I have had 3 separate incidents with the same lady who usually as the drive thru teller and the counter teller. She is combative and argumentative every time I ask for something or have a problem. Even when I have questions about the menu she always has an attitude and is completely disrespectful towards me.Whenever I come in I hope she isn’t working and pray that someone else is. I’m not one known to be rude to people especially people who cook my meals. However I just must’ve rubbed her the wrong way and because of that she feels it’s necessary to be unprofessional and rude to me. For that re I am giving this location 4 stars instead of 5On the other hand my experience with this location and the other staff has been phenomenal; there services is impeccable and are always accommodating and very friendly. The food is better than most places and they get 4 1/2 stars out of 5 only because the last order I received gave me bubble guts lol“

“Fast food tastes better with the Padres playing ball and what better way to lure you to some delicious deep fried calories all the way up in the nosebleeds than with a giant Jack on the foul pole. For some cute Jack x Padres graphics, relatively reasonable prices, curly fries and dipping sauces that you already love, head up to Section 323 and get some tiny tacos... 20 at a time. I enjoyed that way more than the Cheez steak fries from Gaglione Bros. "Cardiff Crack" tri-tip from Seaside Market is best enjoyed at the tables right outside the market up in Cardiff. I say all this with enthusiasm because the last time I had Jack in the Box has to be about 5-7 years ago. And the food went down easier than corn the long way (funny and great response by Mookie). I did not get the Purple Haze (Cutwater Vodka, sweet + sour and Welch's Grape Juice) but I imagine it tastes better than Kershaw's tears on the big screen. Go Dodg-dres!“
“Wonderful place to eat. I'm normally not a fast food eater in the last few years, but Jack In The Box had always had quality food. While doing a local project close to this location this weekend, I visited twice and had some great food. My friend and I had the Chicken Fajita Pita and Southwest Salad with grilled chicken, and it was wonderful....The ingredients were very fresh and tasty. The staff at this location were professional and very attentive. We ate in the first day and took out on the the 2nd visit. I will definitely return. My friend was also impressed with Jack and The Box menu, and vows to return for more. ? GREAT JOB, and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!“
“We just went last night to get my husband an Oreo shake. Service was disappointing.When he ordered his shake on the call box, there was a long pause. So we thought the employee didn't hear him. We've both been sick, and Scott's voice is just starting to come back, so he ordered it again in case his voice was too raspy to understand. The order taker replied with a sarcastic, "I heard you the first time."This was really disappointing.I don't know if this was her fault or a lack of training as she could have initially replied with ok, thank you or ok, anything else, etc...When we got to the window we saw that she was taking the orders as well as taking the payments and giving people their orders and we never could tell if she was talking to us or to the person placing the order.Hopefully, this can be resolved to prevent this from happening to others. We have choices when it comes to anything, and we're not sure we'll be back here for a shake any time soon.“
“The problem I had here was I was trying to purchase food for some homeless people from the people inside knew this somehow I would not let me even though I talked to the homeless people in the parking lot and told them I would buy them food when I was giving my order the lady asked if I was buying food for homeless people I didn't know what it mattered I said yes and could you throw in some extra napkins She wouldn't let me continue the order very strange I told her it was my money and I could buy what I wanted to and she said not if it's for the homeless people I thought this was very disrespectful so I left and went somewhere else and got them food“

“Being empty nesters, my pahtner and I find ourselves eating out more than when our kids were at home. We had gotten home late and I asked the wifey if we could eat at our local Jack in the Box. She agreed and off I went to grab some grub. This Jack had been closed for months for renovation, so this was my first time visiting the restaurant since it reopened. I asked one of the employees when they reopened and she told me back in November. The renovations made the restaurant look really nice and I enjoyed the food I ordered, but an opportunity area is their long service time. 3.5 stars!Jack in the Box is located on Bernardo Center Drive in the shopping center where you can find IHOP, Carl's Jr., RB Donuts, Mama Cella's, and 7-11. Parking can be crowded in the spots directly in front of Jack, so you might have to park and walk to the fast food spot. Knowing that Jack was recently renovated, I was interested in looking at the changes that were made. They did a great job making it more aesthetically pleasing. There are brick facades, distressed wood panels, decorative light fixtures, cushioned stools, inviting seating, and a few artwork pieces hung on the walls. There were only a few people who had ordered ahead of me, but it took a long time for me to get my order. The employees need to work on their friendliness.I've always been a fan of Jack's food, but in my family, McDonald's is king when it comes to chain fast food restaurants, so we rarely order food from Jack. After perusing their menu, I was surprised to see some new menu offerings. On a side menu board, a new menu item was Build Your Own Jack's Munchie Deals for $10. A Jack's Munchie Deal allows you to order one entree' from several choices, pick two sides, and pick a drink. I'm all about value for your money, so I thought that price point was a reasonable one. After looking at my choices, I decided to order a Jack's Spicy Chicken, 4 Onion Rings and Halfsies (curly and regular fries), and a Fountain Drink. The chicken sandwich was hearty and tasty; the sides were seasoned perfectly, they were crunchy, and they aren't stingy with the amount fries given; and the soda was just like all the other sodas. I was impressed by how much food I got for $10.I thought the renovations to Jack in the Box made the restaurant look classier and the new menu items are food that I would order again. The employees just need to have more of a sense of urgency.“

“Please fix the drive thru signage! It's confusing and a lot of people start a line when it's blocked off and people get stuck. It's worse at night. “Quick and convenient. It is what it is and it's not trying to be anything it's not. You want fast "not good for you food," then this is a place that will satisfy your needs. Plenty of seating inside and restaurant seems cleaner then most. Be trash cans separate the trash, recycling and food waste, make Jack a little more environmentally responsible. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Don't come here looking for gourmet anything and leave a 2 star review. You know what you are getting when you walk in the door.“
