The most delicious pizza I have ever eaten! The crust was light and fluffy. I have never had crust like that before. I ate an entire margherita pizza (only 450 calories) and I did not feel stuffed or bloated. The Chef took our orders and talked to us about his restaurant. We will definitely go back. A neighborhood gem.
Extremely satisfied with our visit to Cucina Caprese, so much so that we booked another reservation for six of us next Saturday! Attentive friendly service with the owner coming by to make sure we were happy. We had the arugula salad, the burrata with roasted sweet potato and beets, and the mushroom prosciutto pizza followed by the pistachio ricotta pie. We found Cucina Caprese after wanting to find a restaurant in San Diego that wasn’t another Mexican food tourist trap. I am SO glad that we did.It is clear that the owner is intimately involved with the food that is served here.
