“Satisfying home cooked Lebanese cooking! I’ve tried a lot of places so I can happily say this place is now one of my favorites. No frills, no upscale pretentious vibes, just good ol’ delicious food served quickly. Looks like it was ran by 2 guys, one cooking and one taking orders. It’s a smaller joint that has capacity for maybe up to 18 diners. Intimate setting, simple set up but ridiculously delicious and genuine food. Their lentil soup is something I dream about occasionally. I ordered the chicken tawook bowl since I wasn’t that hungry and it HIT THE SPOT. Hummus was spot on, too. I’m excited for when I go downtown again so I can indulge and try something else on the menu. Everything I got I thoroughly enjoyed. Even the tea! If you’re looking for a simple yet delicious and flavorful meal, make sure you stop by here. I’m so happy they’re in my city! NOTE: if you like spice, make sure to ask for their signature spicy sauce on the side. You’re welcome ?“
“Ordered a shawarma, one of the most delicious one i have had in San Diego. They make the Sajj bread in store which makes all the difference. First bite into Shawarama and you notice it. Also the Shawarama is quite large and fulfilling. I also tried their zaatar Mana'ish, would recommend getting some yogurt or hummus with it. They have a lot of options on the menu which can be overwhelming at first but read through the description and try a dish.“
“We come here weekly. The food is really fresh & made to order. It’s also affordable & delicious. The family is super nice & with just a few added words in Arabic; hello & thank you the sweetest smiles are added to my order. Salaam & shukran!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free, vegetarian, lactose free & even keto options.Parking: I always find free parking out front in the lot or on the street! Easy peasy.“
“Mike's exceptional service left a lasting impression on us. His humor, energy, and attentiveness made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We were so impressed that we returned with more friends two days later. Thanks to Mike, our time here was nothing short of fantastic!“
“A no-frills, delicious Lebanese restaurant. The fatoush salad was fresh and full of delicious herbs. The baba ganoush was creamy, smoky and pretty perfect. The wraps were very good, but when I go back, I would definitely try more of the sides.“
“We had a delicious spread last night. I highly recommend the mezze platter and the mixed kebab plate. That is plenty of food to be shared and also gives the opportunity to try all the delicious offerings. Sorry I forgot to take pictures. The kebabs were perfectly cooked. All the spreads were great. Don't forget to get a bottle of Lebanese red wine. That was good wine as well.“
“Did delivery only from here and will keep this brief. Generally competent Mediterranean food. I got a falafel wrap that was nicely seasoned and absolutely huge (two meals worth). I felt the food from there was overly heavy on pickles. I love pickles but these overwhelmed the flavors of the falafel and other ingredients on both wrap and my son's shawarma wrap. It was a good amount of food for the money and filled a nice spot for delivery (via grub hub) when we couldn't make it out during a class.“
“George (the owner) and his staff were incredibly hospitable and source food consciously. The baba ghanoush and falafel were INCREDIBLE, even by comparison to dishes I've had while travelling in the middle east. Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Diego! Well worth the drive from down town (better quality, better price). Bonus for LOTS of vegetarian and vegan options.“
