“Authentic haitian food! Only haitian spot in san diego. Highly recommend...flavors like no other. I got the fried goat (Tasso) with white rice and bean sauce. Fried plantains and pikliz was delicious. The beef patties were also really fresh and flavorful.“
“This place is sooo good! Anything you order is amazing. Yesterday, I was craving curry goat but I was closer to a different Jamaican restaurant and it was a mistake, the food was horrible so I had to get curry goat from Caribbean taste to get my fix today, and of course they didn’t disappoint. I won’t ever order from other place again!“
“So happy I was able to experience this lovely cafe. The gentleman behind the bar was there was so pleasant. He answered all of my questions and engaged with each customer in a such caring manner. For dinks they had coffee, regular kombucha, and hemp infused kombucha. (There were probably more options but that's what I saw)Both flavors of the hemp infused kombucha were delicious. That was my first time having hemp kombucha and it totally relaxed my mind and body. I ordered 2 Jamaican patties cabbage & tofu. I had to wait a while because they were being made fresh. When they came out both were so delicious they were seasoned, soft, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. My picky 5 year old loved the tofu patty. This is the best cafe I've ever been to. It's afrocentric, healthy, and everything is of the highest quality!“
“Went here while on vacation and was presently surprised! The food was absolutely amazing. The prices and the portions were great as well. My only issue was how long it took for us to get our food. However l, once we got it, we didn't complain at all!!“
“I was in the area and was passing by and thought, I want some Jamaican food!Plenty of parking, and dined in. Ordered the most recommended off Google reviews and tried their Curried Goat. It was delicious to me considering I rarely eat Jamaican food and have been trying to eat more food from Carribean diasporas.I even tried a tasty Beef Patty! Will definitely be back to try the other dishes as well.“
“Ive used to shop at this local business for many years and I was always greeted by a sweet couple. Was there a change in ownership? What a complete cold reception I’ve experienced today. The young gentleman at the cashier should never work with public, please replace him. The store carries my favorite items but if they don’t need business, so be it. Online it is.“
“Literally my favorite Caribbean cuisine spot in all of San Diego. And I've tried damn near all of them. Hands down best jerk chicken. Only reason why they got 4 out of 5 is because I like Mac and cheese. Which is literally my deciding factor“
“Everything was so flavorful & delicious. The meat was tender & fallling off the bone. The plantains were fried perfectly & cabbage seasoned to perfection. The rice & & sauce , mmmmmmm top notch ! I’ll be back for sure ! Very clean atmosphere , service impeccable , food amazing ?“
“Brunch here is my favorite way to start a relaxing day at the beach. The food and drinks don't miss and the proximity to the beach walk makes it a must-stop.I got an incredible french toast with a crispy outer texture contrasted by a melt-in-your-mouth soft breading inside. Friends got some of the savory options that I could have just as easily been satisfied by. The portion sizes are above average. There are some fun options for shared beverages. As you can see we got a mimosa flight in a monstera leaf stand, which was novel.“
