“I don’t know the guys name but i believe he has red hair and i ordered a venti iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel, line caramel cup, add whipped cream, and carmel crunch and it was DELICIOUS. I’ve never had a barista prefect my order this well i was in LOVE when i took my first sip. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I got my drink less than 2 minutes after i ordered. I totally recommend this place and love the guy who served me thank you 🙌🏼“

“I wanted to take the time to say this place ia ran by amazing kind hearted hard working people. They didnt know it but for the past 2 years I have experienced homelessness living in my car and these amazing humans beings were nice enough to never question me if I didnt pay before using the restroom or any reason and seemingly understood I was trying and I just wanted to say I am no longer homeless and just am so thankful to these people for having a heart. To anyone out there experiencing hard times please never give up and know no matter what it seems like or how hard it is if you keep pushing forward you will eventually find your way. “The staff are consistently kind and always make my drink correct. I recently ordered through the app and accidentally ordered an iced drink although I wanted it hot (my fault), and they remade it anyways. This is the best, most efficient, and most consistent Starbucks I have ever visited.“

“I had a pretty good experience at Starbucks. The coffee was fresh and tasted just like I expected, and the staff was friendly even though they were a little busy. My order came out fairly quick and everything was made correctly. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere for sitting down and getting some work done. Little backstory, I was meeting friends at this location before a Father’s Day golf match. Ended up leaving my phone in my Lyft. Colin went out of his way to let me use his personal phone to let my wife know what was going on. “We were working on a mobile wheel repair job right across the street from this Starbucks in Downtown San Diego, so I stopped in to grab a couple of Dragonfruit Energy Drinks for myself and the technician I’m training.
I own Bling Em Rim Repair, a same-day mobile wheel and rim repair company serving San Diego, Orange County, Riverside, Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara areas. We work seven days a week up and down the Southern California coast, and Starbucks is one of our regular refueling stops between Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, and luxury wheel repair appointments.
I waited in line and learned that this location does not accept cash. I stepped outside, grabbed my phone, came back in, and thankfully they accepted tap-to-pay. The staff handled everything professionally, the drinks were great, and I was still able to leave a cash tip.
As a business owner of eight years, I do have one suggestion: Starbucks should make its cash policy consistent across every location. When some stores accept cash and others do not, it can create unnecessary confusion for loyal customers who travel between locations.
Overall, the employees were friendly, the service was smooth, and the drinks gave us exactly the boost we needed to finish another long day of mobile wheel repair in Downtown San Diego. Five stars for the team working today.“

“This is the best Starbucks I’ve ever been too. I love Matcha and nowhere seems to get it right expect this store! I always customize my drink and feel like a pain but not here. Today I got the ube coconut drink but with matcha and it’s phenomenal. Sully made my whole day and has amazing customer service! “A Starbucks close to the convention center with very reasonable price. It is because the Starbucks close to Hilton was super expensive (I feel overpriced) and so I just walked to this branch for my daily coffee!

“I am very impressed with the hospitality that I received from Noelle and Kacie at this Balboa Ave x Clairemont Drive location. I am not a big coffee drinker myself, but met up with my business partner at this location several times and am seriously considering becoming a regular.

Noelle is very kind and professional. She seems to have her system down. I bet corporate loves the way she handles the store.

Kacie is an absolute sweetheart. She has excellent social skills. I observed her with coworkers and people in the drive through. She even chatted with me for a few minutes during her break.

Unbelievable service from the two of them. With all the heat the Starbucks brand has been receiving Corporate needs to add a bonus to their pay checks. Not all employees at this location demonstrate the excellence displayed by these two individuals.“

I think it’s busier than ever - that’s the one hard thing as sometimes can be a long wait. But today was fairly quick! I like the oat milk chai , extra hot, as a treat, every now and then!“

“My wife and I have our coffee time together every morning. Most mornings I make the coffee at home, but somehow we manage to find plenty of reasons to make it a Starbucks morning!

We especially like this location. We usually order ahead online and I run inside to pick it up. It’s also a favorite when we want some breakfast bites or a quick, light lunch.

And when our daughter and 22-year-old granddaughter are at our house, it becomes Starbucks for everyone—even our daughter’s dog, who hangs out with us while she works from our house.

“This is a convenient Starbucks location for residents of Poway, Rancho Bernardo and Rancho Penasquitos, close to where SR 56 meets I-15. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Other shopping, including Ralph's and Trader Joe's, are within walking distance.“

“Today I came in to place an order for 2 drinks. I brought my 3 year old malinois as we were on a walk. We got fast service, a pup cup, and we're on our way.
My dog, suddenly distracted, lunged into the bushes after a lizard causing me to drop one of my drinks from the drink carrier.
I went back into the store, explained simply that I had dropped my drink and without question, they remade it.
Simple, fast, efficient, and without interrogation. Would highly recommend! Thanks guys!“

“Super convenient spot if you're staying at the Residence Inn Downtown/Bayfront or Intercontinental. Its practically next door. Never crowded, even during peak morning hours, and for our three daily visits, every team member was super friendly, cheery and pleasant.

“I came in for a drink after shopping at Target and was served by a nice young lady who greeted me when I first walked in. Despite being the only barista working in this Starbucks she still managed to make my drink while serving other customers in line and running out to deliver drinks at the same time.
