About Starbucks

This Starbucks Coffee Company, located in downtown San Diego near the convention center and the Gaslamp area, offers a convenient and modern coffee experience. The staff at this location are consistently friendly, polite, and welcoming, making customers feel appreciated and respected. Many reviews highlight the exceptional customer service, with staff going above and beyond, remembering regular customers' names, and creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. During busy times like SDCC, the team manages the crowd efficiently, ensuring smooth service even with a large number of visitors.

The location is ideal for those looking for quick, quality coffee; it is just an elevator ride down to the lobby of the Hard Rock Cafe or outside for easy access. The inside space is clean and modern, with limited seating options, mainly high tables with chairs and a few tables without chairs, making it more of an in-and-out spot. Customers enjoy the quick wait times, especially if they order via the app, and appreciate the variety of beverages such as the extra hot oat milk latte with 3 long shots and no foam, or the popular shaken espresso, which has received perfect ratings.

This Starbucks is especially praised for its friendly staff, efficient service during busy events, and its location's convenience. Despite limited seating, it remains a favorite for many visitors and locals alike, providing a friendly, inclusive, and efficient coffee experience.
