“Note: this review is based on the assumption that you already know Starbucks doesn't have the best coffee in town (bird rock across the street has much better coffee), and that I'm reviewing this spot as compared to other Starbucks locations. I work down the street from this Starbucks, and stop in here at least once a week. The staff is super nice, especially the guy with greyish hair- shout out to you, dude! I've only had coffee, matcha and chai, and haven't had the food, but Starbucks food sucks in my opinion anyways.. drinks are solid, and I like the outdoor patio. No complaints!“
“I occasionally will not have time to have coffee at home before heading to into La Jolla and this is the perfect location to grab one when I am going to one of my client's office.It is very close and the service is usually very fast even when there's a line of people waiting.The staff have always been very friendly and patient with me when I'm indecisive about what to order and I don't believe my order has ever been wrong.I recommend this Starbucks location to anyone who wants to grab a coffee when entering La Jolla but during the busiest hours, it may be difficult to find parking as the lot is shared with the gas station.“
“Staying at a hotel across the street for a weekend in La Jolla and wanted to explore the UCSD campus. This is a good sized Starbucks but we were here on a quiet early Sunday morning. The baristas were so friendly and welcoming...felt like my neighborhood Starbucks back in the day.“
“I always stopped in here for my coffee addiction. Very convenient since I can do my grocery shopping at same time They have plenty of seating too. My favorite is the Pikes Place coffee along with a double smoked bacon sandwich. Soo good. Great place.“
“A couple days ago, my app, once again, sent my mobile order to the wrong location. I swear I selected this location, but, unfortunately, the app had other ideas. I was frustrated, to say the least, when I showed up here and my order was nowhere to be found. Luckily, there were two Starbucks angels working that day, and they resolved the whole thing quickly and hastlefree. They were patient and understanding and took immediate action.I wish I had gotten their names, but regardless, I wanted to give them a public shout-out and big thanks!“
