“Great service and amazing beer! We got a chance to taste their traditional beers as well as some of their experimental beers. The staff gave us an in depth description of the ideas behind their experimental beers and made for a great night out! Will come again and I highly recommend this spot. An up and coming gem in SD.“
“still here at the moment. this place is a cozy, hole in the wall establishment. the smash burger they have here is intoxicating all on it's own, it literally melts in your mouth. I added some fries on the side and my drink of choice was the natural red wine. I paired these fantastic options with the outdoor seating that is located in the back. I chose this place because it's within walking distance of where I live. I'm glad it's nearby, because I'll be coming back again. It's my first time here by the way. 5 out of 5 ! Also, let me add that the music playlist they have in rotation is curated perfectly well. Good vibes to say the least.“
“We had a client event here and everything was perfect starting with the initial coordination and planning with Mason until the very end of the reception. Mason was very open and flexible in meeting our needs and made the perfect food suggestions. The space is fantastic, all of our guests commented on what a great place it is. Very accommodating offering enough room to socialize and enjoy the food and drinks. The food was tasty and presented nicely and the drinks were carefully curated by experienced bartenders. Everyone working at Madam Bonnie’s were professional and truly understood good customer service. I can not express enough how much we appreciated Mason and his team’s help in making our client event a success.“
“Great place to catch a game on one of several of their TVs, enjoy delicious food, and fantastic beer!My husband and I found this gem through the Local Flavor flyer last year, and we have enjoyed several visits since! Last night, we jumped into a flight of beer, truffle fries, and a cheeseburger loaded with bacon, egg, and caramelized onion... every mouth watering bite was amazing! If you haven't been, I highly recommend giving Knotty Barrel in Rancho Penasquitos a try!“
“This review is from 2018..I am just beginning my thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail and this was the ultimate best send off! Excellent food and atmosphere...and then there was Jair! I was a single person..dining in boots with a backpack...not big bucks. I received the utmost respect and prime service from Jain. Truly this man is an asset to this establishment!“
“I can't say enough how great the service was and the food! My wife and I had multiple items and everything was delicious. Liz the bartender and chef Jason were awesome and made us feel right at home! 10 out of 10 must try when your in North Park.“
“Such a cool place inside. Friendly staff. Known for their beer. The food was delicious! Ordered the pretzels, the Salami flatbread, Duck fries, and Kimchi rice. All were amazing 10/10.Parking: Limited parking right outside but a lot of street parking in the the streets around“
“Love Khan's. The food is amazing and the service is the best. I especially liked Sam...great service and great personality...so funny! Thanks for an enjoyable time each time we go for lunch or dinner. Happy hour is fantastic! Great ambiance!“
“Thank you for helping my wife and I make a great food memory on our recent San Diego vacation! Craft & Commerce was a fun vibe for a couple small town Montana kids... Loved the eclectic atmosphere, the playlist was on point, and service was friendly, unpretentious, and no-pressure. Food was great, interesting and rich in flavor (if unconventional). One of the best burgers I've ever had. Thanks again for an awesome experience!“
“Dog friendly patio with heaters. Weekend brunch was delicious. We had the Benedict and breakfast hamburger. Bother were fantastic. Bottomless mimosa is the way to go. We also enjoyed the Bloody Mary, I think the rest of San Diego could take a lesson on how to offer an 18$ Mary. (See Pics)“
“Cool and relaxed San Diego bar close to Balboa park. Free parking in a garage right around the corner! The Ahi nachos were recommended but they were too hard to eat on narrow pasta chips! Drinks were tasty and beer selection was good. Definately will go again and try different appetizers!“
“We recently stopped into Bootlegger for a bite and a beverage. Shasta waited on us and was an excellent server. We decided to split a build a burger and ordered a beer each. The burger was enormous and delicious - Thursdays they are on special and you can get as many toppings as you like with no up charges. It’s a good deal. The fries were a bit disappointing because they weren’t crispy enough and kind of soft/limp. It wasn’t super busy the day we went but I imagine during baseball season or weekends it gets pretty crowded there. Bootlegger has a large selection of brews on top. We will definitely be back again.“
“I really don’t get the bad reviews… I’ve been coming here almost every week for almost a year now… it’s always a great time, any food that I have tried has always been fresh, hot and tasty. The beer selection is immense and delicious (get the bad apple cider… it’s the bees knees). I feel like anyone that had a bad experience… was a Karen ? or privileged. The owner is the best, super kind and has a great sense of humor. The other girl that gets behind the bar is also super nice and attentive. The bar is always clean and the regulars are also nice and welcoming. It’s almost like your family bar. I’ve had nothing but good vibes and energy ANY time I come. Try the fries, wings, tenders, burgers and the brisket… it’s all good… you won’t regret coming here“
“I’ve never been happier with a meal and drinks. The food was amazing I have nothing bad to say about anything. The cocktails were outstanding. Service was incredible. This is a must stop if you’re visiting San Diego. Such good vibes I would come back every time I’m visiting just to experience this all over again.“
“I was thoroughly impressed by the unique ambiance, which seamlessly blends Indian, Middle Eastern and Western cultures. The restaurant's use of steel thalis for serving food, a tradition local to India, is a delightful touch that you rarely encounter in the United States. The Masala chai, while on the pricier side, was undeniably delicious, although it comes pre-mixed with a slight amount of sugar and lacks customization options. The outstanding customer service left a lasting impression; the staff's genuine friendliness and passion for their work made my dining experience truly memorable. Kristina was lovely and so was the dude at the bar. Don’t forget to checkout their unique collection of mixed drinks. My order was generously portioned, and the flavors were spot-on—I have no complaints there. Plus, parking was stress-free in this laid-back area with ample street parking. For a unique dining experience, I highly recommend reserving the indoor room next to the bar. There, you can enjoy your meal in the traditional Indian style—sitting on the floor with legs folded. Be sure to check out the picture of the room with its short tables and beds.Dietary restrictions: They will cater to your dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: It’s kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.“
“Had a great time here. The sushi was impeccable and the service was phenomenal. Deanna was my server and she was knowledge about everything on the menu and gives off warm welcoming vibes. If you’re getting a drink Alanah has you covered and gives the best recommendations. Nice, warm atmosphere and the sushi was amazing. Would highly recommend to anybody.“
“Pretty good quality food! A bit pricey at a total of $15, but not bad. Both the turkey and bacon panini and the macaroni and cheese (which isn't cheap, American cheese ones) were very tasty and had good quality. Nice to have nice food on UCSD campus like this.“
“Popped in for an afternoon lunch at Bar One with our group of 6 from an event. B, our waitress handled the traffic extremely well. There were probably 25 total from our event that came in for a lunch rush and she was the only waitress on staff. I got a bowl - can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Would 10/10 recommend for a lunch spot!“
“Super chill beach bar/brewery with nice folks and good brews. Nothin fancy - which is exactly the right vibe for OB - San Diego! Cheers ? …revisited this spot and spent time on the awesome roof deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. So chill!“
“Not a bad place to stop for some good beers and food that is decent. It's seat yourself kind of bar and can be good for large groups as they have large tables. I will say they have a good selection of beers on tap that rotates. Service is definitely slow so definitely don't come here if you are in a rush.“
“Great bar, great service, and classic pub vibes to watch the game! Bartender is super attentive to all patrons and food/drinks come out in an efficient and timely manner. If you want a bar with great service, good food, and a place with classic pub vibes in SD... Kelly's pub is the place to be!“
“Very small menu. No one in our party ordered a hamburger, but that most likely would've been best. We had wings, salads, pretzel & fish & chips. I wish the waitress would've told us about the specials. We didn't notice the chalk board out front with the specials on it until we walked out.“
“This was the best restaurant experience I have ever had. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Our order arrived on time, and most importantly, the dishes were delicious. I visited the place with my wife, and she was very pleased. As they say, a happy wife equals a happy life.“
