One of the servers, Annika with an A, really stood out with her service and smile despite the fat crowd of Knicks fans last Wednesday.

“Zanzibar is a chill above average (for price center) restaraunt. Decent selection if you are not concerned with your health and you eat meat. There is plenty of seating that can accommodate groups of 5 or more. It's an ideal location to host a lab lunch or host some visiting academics.“

“My wife and I stumbled upon Majorette while exploring Rolando Village. It looks like a dive bar, but it has a really good beer selection and great food. I'm a fried chicken sandwich snob, and it doesn't get much better than their fried chicken thigh sando. The only real option for my wife (who is vegetarian) was the grilled cheese sandwich. While it was delicious, it would be nice if they would at least offer an Impossible burger substitute for their smash burger. I also wish they were open for lunch instead of just dinner, but such is life. We will definitely be back soon!“

“Favor variety of curries for the one with the other menu items gives this place a strong vote for look curry places. They have creative cocktails that are quite tasty and without lots of sugar sweetener. An appropriate atmosphere for a local stop.One where you feel you are entering into a new dimension.“

“Food was good, but the portions and prep could be adjusted. E.g., the elotes dip was very greasy and didn't have enough chips (BTW, I recommend thicker chips).
The games and atmosphere were fun. The tickets/points system seems a little silly considering you need to spend a LOT of money to get even the cheapest prize, which is a pint glass. Maybe revamp the prizes or consider turning in tickets for dollars off your meal and/or more credits to play.
