“Had a solid visit to Bayside Landing in Crown Point / Pacific Beach and left happy! 🍻
This is a true neighborhood gastropub with that chill “Cheers” vibe, friendly staff, lots of rotating taps (craft beer, seltzers, hard kombucha, etc.), and a solid casual menu. Perfect for a laid-back lunch or happy hour.
I ordered the Power Bowl and it was really good! 🥗 Fresh quinoa base, creamy hummus, perfectly cooked herb-baked salmon, pickled red onions, cucumber, roasted corn, avocado, and that tasty cilantro white sauce. Flavorful, healthy-ish, and filling without feeling heavy. Definitely recommend it if you want something lighter but still satisfying.
Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming (pet-friendly patio is a plus 🐶). Would happily come back.“

“We came in three hours before our reservation time and the sweet hostesses found us a table ! Our server Ally was so welcoming and helped us make our selections. Our drinks and food were just as stunning as the restaurant, and the entire team was so friendly and inviting. Coming back soon !“

“Yesterday's early lunch at the Public House was idyllic. This spot never disappoints, in fact, with each visit I am more enchanted. The food was great. Drinks were generous, tasty and chilled and the server was phenomenal. She was friendly, sweet and efficient. She kept a close eye on our drinks and check in with us a number of times to see that we had all that we needed. A delightful lunch.“

“Pricey. Go for the cheaper deals from 3-5 PM on weekdays. I typically get fish and chips for $6. Otherwise, I get the ahi tuna sandwich, fries, and a lemonade for $16. The lemonade is the most notable for me, a great refresher on a hot day. The sandwich is delicious, although I would love more seaweed. As for the fries? They’re on the salty side, and tend to burn.“

“My wife and I stumbled upon Majorette while exploring Rolando Village. It looks like a dive bar, but it has a really good beer selection and great food. I'm a fried chicken sandwich snob, and it doesn't get much better than their fried chicken thigh sando. The only real option for my wife (who is vegetarian) was the grilled cheese sandwich. While it was delicious, it would be nice if they would at least offer an Impossible burger substitute for their smash burger. I also wish they were open for lunch instead of just dinner, but such is life. We will definitely be back soon!“

“Was at an afterhours party at San Diego Comic-Con, they had a small buffet with finger foods, which were great. The staff is great as well. They have some games like skee-ball, video games and bowling. It is a very clean and great atmosphere.“
