She was very attentive and knowledgeable. I'm Asian, my boyfriend is white/Mexican ( he does not like Asian food) he ordered pork tacos yum! flama llama was perfect for us Asian/Peruvian infusion? who'd have thunk. “We went to Sobremesa for our wedding anniversary and had a great experience from start to finish.

I was specifically looking for a restaurant that didn’t just serve familiar dishes, but put its own twist on them—and Sobremesa definitely checked that box.

My wife ordered the NY Steak Asada, and I had the green enchiladas. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. You can tell there’s a lot of pride and thought put into every dish, from the presentation to the choice and combination of flavors. The food felt familiar while still being creative and distinctly their own.

We also tried several cocktails: the Amantes Bajo El Sol, Mesa Caliente, Sobre Rita, and Cafe Con Rumba. The Amantes Bajo El Sol and Cafe Con Rumba were our absolute favorites.

The physical space really helped set the tone for the evening. The earth tones and overall design gave the restaurant a warm, relaxed feel. What I especially liked was that you actually felt like you were participating in a dining experience rather than simply sitting at another table in another restaurant. The atmosphere felt intentional and complemented the food and drinks really well.

The service was excellent—attentive and friendly, with the perfect balance of checking in regularly without ever feeling excessive or intrusive.

We’ll definitely be returning for the food, atmosphere, cocktails, and great service. Sobremesa was exactly the kind of place I was hoping to find and a fantastic choice for our anniversary.“
