Dunkin' Donuts in San Diego

“Got a strawberry donut 🍩, a sausage and cheese sandwich 🥪, and an iced latte🥛. About out a 3 minute wait, around 5-6 people in total. Only two available order machines and only one works. The donut and drink were great, the sandwich wasn't the best but not awful 🫤. Overall, pretty good Dunkin Donuts!“

“I switched to Dunkin' after another place totally flaked on me. Honestly had no clue what to expect, but they answered the phone right away and got the job done. Everything’s held up well since then, so I'm glad I made the switch over here in San Ysidro.“

“I grabbed a smoothie and coffee here earlier and honestly had a pretty good experience. The smoothie was fresh, not overly sweet, and had a nice fruity flavor. My coffee was also made just the way I like it, hot and smooth without being too bitter. The staff was friendly and got my order out quicker than I expected. The shop has a relaxed feel, so it’s an easy place to sit for a bit or pick something up on the go. Nothing fancy, but everything was fresh and tasted good. I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area again.“

“Good ol’ Dunkin Donuts! Ordered a maple bar and an apple fritter and wasn’t disappointed. No line or crowd at 8am on a Saturday although the area around this location feels a bit unsafe due to homeless individuals lingering in the downtown area. Nice stop on a Saturday morning but the interior is petite.“

“This Dunkin's is adjacent to the SDSU Campus on Montezuma Dr. It shares a space with Jimmy Johnson Sandwiches. I had a medium drip coffee and a turkey sausage breakfast sandwich on an English Muffin.

The coffee was good. It was a little bitter at first, but then it settled down and was much smoother to drink. I had it hot. The turkey sausage breakfast sandwich was good, too. The breakfast sandwich was better than I thought it was going to be. The turkey sausage was savory and tasty. The cheese was well melted, the egg well cooked, and the English muffin well toasted.

I did not get any doughnuts on this trip, but perhaps next time. The service was friendly and helpful. Everything is packaged to go. They do have a small wall table with about three chairs inside.“

“I want to give a positive shoutout to Daniel. When I first came in, he was a little confused about what I was asking for, which was completely understandable. Once he realized that I simply needed a cup of water, he immediately helped me out, gave me ice and water without making it difficult, and treated me respectfully the entire time. I am a Buddhist lay practitioner living very simply right now, and something as basic as being treated with dignity genuinely means a lot when you are exhausted and thirsty. Daniel did not judge me, make assumptions about me, or make me feel unwelcome. He simply understood what I needed and helped. He was respectful, professional, and kind. He is a good employee, and I hope management recognizes him for that.“
