“I came by Grab & Go Subs today for the first time. I’ve always noticed it, as it’s next door to Hopanonymous, a cool local brewery, and EMSL laboratory, where I often go for my job. The shop is very clean and organized, with friendly staff, easy signage, and stocked bathrooms.

I ordered a spicy turkey avocado sandwich. It was about $15, which seemed pricey, but the sandwich I got was gigantic and all the ingredients were super fresh and high-quality. To be honest, I actually liked this sub more than the last few I’ve had at national/international chains like Jersey Mike’s and Subway.

They’ve got plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, including tables and counter, and a lot of options, including salads and soups beyond the sandwich lists. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in a pinch for lunch. Definitely recommended for workers in the Kearny Mesa area!“

“My husband and I stopped by after seeing Eddie Izzard's Hamlet right down the street. I got the Damon Bruce and my husband got thr Hollywoo. Both were fantastic (though I tried both and think i picked best). The dirty sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the only complaint I have is that it was sweeter than I would have liked. Did not stop me from devouring the deliciousness, though. I will be back if I am in the area again.“
