The service was awful. It took a long time to get our food. There are two food trucks, one for sandwiches and one for the grill. Our burger took over half an hour to arrive.
The sandwich came out quickly, but it was really disappointing. The bread was large, but there was very little meat, and the sandwich was soggy. Overall, it just wasn’t what we expected.

When it's busy there can be a long wait to get your food
Our breakfast burrito was amazing. The scenery was amazing will recommend to family and friends

Cliff Hanger Cafe offers delicious wood-fired pizzas and sandwiches with stunning views. The Pizza Bianca is outstanding, and the Meat Lovers pizza is also highly recommended. The cafe serves alcohol, welcomes kids and dogs, and has great music for ambience. They offer homemade soups and Thrifty ice cream, with the vanilla bean ice cream with cone being exceptional. Services was fast, even when super crowded. The sandwich looked good. The location is what makes this place great; it’s a nice spot to watch paragliders practice, takeoff, and land, with a beautiful view of the beach below. The place can get pretty crowded on weekends and hot days, making it challenging to find shade. The view and casual terrace make it a perfect stop after a visit. The food is much better than your typical landmark cafe, and the prices are very reasonable. Service is OK; orders are placed at the counter, and customers receive a receipt with a number to call when food is ready for pickup. The restaurant is a great spot for a casual lunch in a beautiful part of San Diego, though the portable bathrooms situation needs work.
