“Not only were the views of la jolla cove breathtaking, but the restaurant was clean and the staff was super kind and welcoming. On top of that, the food was phenomenal as always for harumama. The crispy chicken katsu never fails and my boyfriend got the bulgogi fries with extra cheese, and we shared a crunchy salmon roll. All were 10 stars love this place so much.“

“Quick, quality, and friendly sushi!!! Ordered online and got the Vermont roll and Delsushi special roll. Both were really great quality and contrasted each other nicely. The Vermont roll was so good, we loved the ratio of rice to fish. Very flavorful and light. The delsushi roll was definitely heavier, baked, and loaded!!!!“

I still think it’s okay, but I feel like the quality and portions of food are inconsistent, some days it tastes good and some days it tastes like 💩. The drinks are good and overall I think this place is okay but just fix the portions and quality. 👍“

- Truffle-topped sushi may be a bit complicated, but the taste of fish is the best.
- If you order the $34 chef's set, you get 6 pieces of rolls, 4 pieces of sashimi, and 6 pieces of sushi. Good value for money

I also love that they are one of the only places around here that have zaru soba, and my husband says their baked salmon roll is his favorite of all time. The staff remember you if you come in more than once and have excellent service too!“

The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and feels very special and unique.
They even offer a cute #karaoke style room if you’re looking to host a private event, which I thought was such a lovely touch.
Their dishes are very generous, and everything we tried was delicious.
The Seafood #Pajeon (Korean pancake) is packed with seafood—you can taste it in every bite! 🦐
My favorite was the #Bulgogi japchae which was cooked to perfection and had such a deliciously savory flavor. 🤤

They also have a great variety of #sushi options that you definitely don’t want to miss.

“When I lived here I ate at Niban at least once a month. Moved almost a year ago. Bento box was fantastic. Sushi not as fresh as it used to be. Rice was dry. Seafood salad has also lost its spark. Kind of disappointing. Server didn't seem to care too much. Not the Niban I remember.“
