Good things first: nice design, comfy seating, friendly and efficient staff.Not as good as hoped for: food. As far as Japanese cuisine goes, the place is average to below average. Miso soup which I often use as a test of the food quality, was bland and had no body - likely made from concentrate with too much water added. One of my favorite sushi spots ever continues to never disappoint! I don't typically order the same thing since they have their specialty rolls that change monthly. I like to see what the latest rolls are at the moment. I ordered the no rice roll and another roll. Both were delicious! As always, I ordered their house salad and miso soup that were just as great.
