If you live in Carmel Valley and don't want to drive down to Convoy or OC for a Korean fix, they serve a decent Soon Do Bu. We have eaten here three times now and it's been good each time. Crispy Rice is my kids' fave.
I have the pleasure of coming here often and I've had the Yellowtail Sashimi as well as the crispy rice, and a few of their rolls (Sensual Pleasure, Hamachi Lover) If you're looking for Japanese cuisine with a harmony of Korean items, this is the spot for you! Our server Harry was both friendly and attentive and Kay and Kevin care greatly about the customers' wellbeing and dining experience :) Great parking too and a warm space, will be continuing to come back ~

Service was amazing. Very nice workers. Ordered a yakisoba plate which was a great choice. The beef was very tender and the portion was HUGE. Also was recommended the chirashi sushi bowl. The fish did not disappoint. Honestly felt like I was back in Japan. Highly recommend this place! You will not regret.
