So delicious and authentic. Small place but such good food and such good quality
Wow! My partner and I ended up here after not being able to walk in at a different sushi place nearby. Without a doubt, this was way better than that other place we couldn’t get into. This is the best sushi in San Diego…dare I say the freshest fish I’ve ever found outside of Japan! Every dish we got was incredible, and we kept wanting to order more. Takaramono Sushi is a hidden gem and one of the best sushi experiences in San Diego. Every dish is not only delicious but beautiful, incredibly fresh, and full of unique flavors. The quality of the fish is outstanding, and the chefs truly care about every detail. This is not your typical sushi restaurant with the same rolls; each plate feels special, from premium nigiri and sashimi to creative specialty rolls. Highlights include the Ahi Fiesta Roll, hamachi special, salmon belly, eel, toro, scallops, ikura, and miso soup with truffle and salmon. Every dish comes with a description and direction for optimal enjoyment. The food, presentation, atmosphere, and attention to detail are all exceptional, and there wasn’t a single dish not enjoyed.
