This is my favorite sushi bar in north county San Diego. I've been coming here for over 10 years and the quality of food and service is amazing. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that you can get really fresh fish beyond the typical mainstream sushi that you see at Americanized sushi restaurants (ie salmon, tuna). We've been coming here for years from the time of the original owner. The sushi is fresh and it's always a really enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, the fairly new server is a big minus. She is always rushed, forgets things, is much too loud and offers an all-around unpleasant experience. We've stopped going for our weekly sushi fix because she ruins the ambience of this otherwise lovely, low key sushi bar that has very good sushi and sashimi.
