“Tamarindo a MUST when you are visiting Del Mar! Outstanding views, food, cocktails, and SERVICE! We sat at the bar and were hosted by Kelsie and Michelle. These two young ladies were courteous, friendly and efficient! I have dined around San Diego for 20 years and what will always get me to return is good quality service. Thank you Kelsie and Michelle for making our first visit to Tamarindo so special! We will be back very soon.“

Service was very nice and friendly and accommodating Ambiance is nice, u have an ocean view... clean space and the decor is nice Parking is all street parking free for 2 hours Def coming back here again“
“Normally I like to keep gems like this to myself, but walking through literal back alleys in San Diego to be introduced to this incredible Hi-Fi listening speakeasy was just too awesome and I hope everyone I love gets a chance to get on the reservation list, stat. I'm a speakeasy veteran with a coast to coast cocktail sipping resume that spans from SF to Boston and New Orleans to Chicago, and this spot has definitely landed in my top ten. The atmosphere, the staff, the tunes, and the drinks are all so special and perfectly curated for maximum delight. Every aspect of CMB is comfortable and balanced, and so very easy to enjoy. They found a great groove and kept it going.“
“Recomiendo todo Es un súper lugar cómodo ,bendecido Su personal y su comida Es lo máximo Sus bebidas no hay comparación ,su personal de la barra es súper Cada vez que tengo la bendición de estar en ese lugar me hacen sentir muy especial Todo absolutamente todo lo recomiendo Gracias CATANIA“
“I assume this place is Japanese comfort food, because I am often the only non-Asian in this wonderful place. On the specials menu, there are dishes that I’ve never seen on a menu, and I’ve had to try… and really enjoyed. I imagine this as my local Japanese bistro. Chef and ingredient driven place for Japanese foodies. Americans.. start with the chicken nanban (fried chicken with Japanese tartar sauce). If that does not hit New taste buds, and get you out of any American comfort zone, then nothing will.“
“We have always loved Bernini's! Every time we come here the service is always wonderful and it's a great experience with the best food! We really love their breakfasts too, haven't had for a while because the timing hasn't been right. We'll be back soon. I miss the lemon ricotta pancakes!“
“The oysters were fresh and juicy. I had Grilled mixed which included three different meat selections, good for those who's very indecisive like myself.I also tried a bite of both seabass and cod. Really like the taste and texture of the cod (don't remember the name of the dish), but the seabass was a bit dry for me.We still ordered some dessert when everyone was so full, the "peach" one was not too sweet and not too heavy after the main course.Overall, the food/service was good but pricey.“
“Not our first time to RO52R, but every time we visit this place, it’s an experience! We were taken cared of by their Lead Bartender “Brian”, and boy does he know his craft! We’ve followed Brian over the years at his many stops throughout his career tending bar, and he’s definitely one of the best! Thankfully, we came at a time when before the crowd filled the speakeasy. We tried five drinks, several of their signature creations, and several off-menu creations made on the fly. Sampled two appetizers to help offset the alcohol, and both were outstanding. RO52R’s ambiance is one of the coolest speakeasies in town. For first timers, it’ll blow you away. We absolutely love, love, love coming here! For those who are avid speakeasy enthusiasts, so you’ve tried the rest, if you want the BEST, this is THE spot! Food, drinks, service, atmosphere, music, and overall experience… It’s hard to beat!Parking: Located in one of those strip malls where there’s more popular business with available parking to match the need for patrons of each business. During peak times, you’ll definitely need some luck on your side to find an available spot. It’s the ONLY negative about this place…“
“I went here with my family visiting all the way from Sweden and had no expectations. They exceeded beyond anything else I have been to in the area. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the service as well. We had a lot of questions and our waiter knew every inch of the menu down to where the ingredients where picked. So grateful for the view, atmosphere and overall experience. Favorite dish was the smoked duck liver appetizer, and sunchoke entree. And if you have room for more the Nutella semifreddo was delicious!“
“Came here for a quick snack and drinks with the girls. Vibes are immaculate and the brussels sprouts were life changing. I promise they're way more appetizing than they look. We also tried the potato appetizer, which I would pass on. Still would recommend coming here though!“
“Very good smash type burger, meat is flavorful and cooked perfectly. Mama Hut is a delightful lady and so friendly. An excellent burger joint with cocktails and great selection of beers. What more can you ask for? In my top ten of hamburger places in San Diego “
“Love SoN's! First time at this location, sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. Service was good and drinks were tasty!! Birria Enchilda's were good with egg on top but birria tacos probably would've been better to not over power the dish. El Mercado Salad with grilled chicken was fantastic if you're wanting something on the lighter side. We'll for sure be back.“
“Brunch :: I havent had a breakfast buffet in awhile and this one was amazing. Fresh omelettes, and so many other delicious treats. I wasnt a guest of the hotel, my friend was and met her here. We had children with us and got attentive service. The wait went by quickly. The place was packed with families but they kept the breakfast area stocked and cleaned. Great experience. I left very full and satisfied.“
“Craving for Korean Tofu soup and didn’t want to drive too far. Was looking for a good substitution.Overall, food quality is 3.5; serving 4; ambiance 4 (has a sports bar vibe).Bibimbop(stone rice pot): the pot is not hot enough to make a single burnt rice. Taste OK.Cheese tater tots was excellent when it was right out of the kitchen and hot.Seoul spicy sandwich: hugh portion but not spicy at all to the person’s standard.Service was good. We got seated promptly. Food orders were at good time interval.“
“Bulgogi pancake and fried rice were particularly delicious. Rolls very good too. Service was good and friendly. Place had a nice vibe, and not too loud - possible to have a normal conversation over dinner without shouting over the music or other patrons. Will definitely be back.“
“We loved this restaurant. We were visiting and arrived late one evening and were so pleasantly impressed with the food and service. We had the hummus appetizer and it was the best we’ve ever had, it had grilled vegetables, hot grilled pita, tzatziki, and wonderful hummus with pesto dollops. We also each had salads with grilled chicken that were excellent.“
“This is an innovative gourmet taco shop with a lovely atmosphere, and a living-room like area with chairs and a sofas facing the bar. It is the sister restaurant of the Michelin-noted Lola 55 in downtown San Diego. Every taco is assempled with care, with some unusual pairings, and photo-ready. The margaritas are zesty and unique, with black salt (?) on the rim. And I had attentive service, including from the owner. I only wish they had more things on their menu, but have liked everything I have had.“
“My wife and I came in for a night out and we were thoroughly impressed. The service and cocktails were top notch and we ordered some delicious food direct from the neighboring restaurants. The added plus is that parking is very easy. Highly recommended.“
“This is an awesome spot to have a cocktail and enjoy a magnificent view of the ocean! We ordered a small appetizer of roasted olives - delicious! They paired excellently with our cocktails. My wife had a drink named "Talk Birdy To Me" that came in a cool bird-shaped glass! She said it was delicious. My daughter and I opted for the run drink named "Diving Bird" - it was the perfect drink for a beautiful day! Definitely check this place out if you are in the area! The entrance is a steep climb of stairs just off the street and not obvious, so check it out in "street view" on the map so you know how to get up there!“
“the food is absolutely divine!!! i would go here everyday if i could. i had the sweet potato pancakes they were nothing like anything i've ever had. so so good. if you're in the area i recommend trying. the service was good our waiter was decent. the inside was pretty loud which can make it a little hard to hear the person in front of you but overall it was amazing!!“
“This was a fantastic experience. We took the tour with Lee. He was very knowledgeable, and we learned quite a bit. Top notch. Had a few drinks at the bar, Laura was fantastic. The interior was beautiful. Lots of natural light. Great deals for their bottles. Had a great time, I definitely recommend a trip here.“
“Hands down my favorite restaurant in San Diego. We've been five or six times and never been disappointed. Incredible aesthetic, excellent drinks and just delicious food. This current spring menu has a burrata dish that's phenomenal (sounds impossible but trust me. The strawberries are smokey and it's so good you might cry).“
“I totally forgot to take photos because I was enjoying myself so much! You need a reservation if you aren’t a guest at the hotel. We sat by the glass overlooking the ocean with a fire pit lighting our table and keeping us warm.Great atmosphere! Listening to the waves below. We had the prawns with shisitos, the clams, and the fish tacos. All of it was amazing. My favorite was the prawns with the chimichurri sauce. Divine!Server was super sweet. We were there near closing (6pm closing for food) and she was helpful to make sure we knew to order right away.Parking: If you don’t want to valet your car, you might need to park a couple minutes walk away. It’s easy, but may want to account for it with your reservation time.“
“Looking for the friendly restaurants that are dog friendly? Patio space is open and inviting. Food is good and service was timely! The Vanilla Matcha Tea Latte was delicious, not sweet. Breakfast Snooze classic and Sam I am are our go to favorites!“
“I would rate the overall experience at 10Excellent food great location, friendly staff, I had the fish taco plate with the best shrimp taco ever and I worked my way through both types of fish breaded fish taco was excellent as well. A friend had the burger and it was excellent. Patti looks better than average, so did the fries. We highly recommend this placePlus, they just expanded the size so now it’s twice as big! Without suffering, the quality of service or food. ServiceAdrienne, no I’m gonna ask her yeah we want to give you a good review but I wanna make sure I had your name right how Was our server, and she was great“
“Fun speakeasy with a revolving fireplace/ entrance. The ambience was nice and dark in the back room.We were seated in two uncomfortable chairs first so we asked to move to another table and they moved is to the booths flanking the walls around the room. I thought it was great to sit back, peruse their extensive cocktail menu, and enjoy the view of their beautiful chandelier over the central bar.Once we placed our drink orders, they came pretty quickly to the table. Each drink was about $10-$16 for our group. They could have used a little more alcohol but the drinks were fun and yummy. You should make reservations.“
“Absolutely love this place the bartenders are great the service is always phenomenal and the fact that they have a variety of music played by live bands it's just a bonus can't find a better atmosphere in La Jolla than Henessey's. The Thursday night $6 smash burger is the best deal in the county of San Diego highly recommended.Vegetarian options: They do any burger but with a beyond burger Patty.Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the 1st floor and is wheelchair accessible.“
“The food is great, ambiance is nice and service is excellent. It is very consistent. It's perfect for date night or family time on the patio. My husband and I really enjoy coming here and are never disappointed. We look forward to returning.“
“A beautiful bar area located inside the Park Hyatt Aviara. We stopped by here on two occasions during our stay, once for Japanese take-out, which was awesome, and once for an after-dinner coffee, tea, and a date at the Top Golf simulator. You have to check in at Pacific Point for the Top Golf experience fyi.In any event, this is a great, sophisticated spot to grab a drink or dinner at the bar. Pacific Point even had live music playing on a Tuesday night, which was very cool!“
“We had the best time playing several hours of pool here last week. It was the dollar tables so that was awesome. The pitchers were great selections too. We happen to come on Bingo Night which was fun to play. My friend actually won a bottle of wine! There were 3 tables to play on and they were away from the bar which I liked. We will be back very soon!“
“We had dinner at Cocina De Barrio. The ambience is very lively and loud but one would expect that from most restaurants. What was not expected was the cuisine. I use the word cuisine because the food is amazing. The presentation and preparation remind me of some Michelin star restaurants I've been to in San Diego. The staff is very knowledgeable regarding all the menu items and the many bar offerings. The staff was also very attentive without being overbearing. I'm still thinking about the guacamole dip made at our table. I highly recommend eating here. I know we will be back soon.“
“This place is SO good my friend and I are here for the fourth time in the past two weeks ha! Seriously, the drinks are delicious and perfectly strong, the food is 10/10. I recommend the carnitas taco it is SO DAMN GOOD! They add crumbled chicharrón that takes it over the top. When in Encinitas give DBT a try you won't regret. Bonus - staff is awesome!!!“
“Brunch here was very nice. * The view over looks La Jolla from inside the hotel. The staff provided great service and were very attentive. Blooy Mary's, Mimosa's, and the Salmon Bendict were filling and very good. Overall, it is a cozy and quaint restaurant to “
“Sat outside. Dog friendly. Nice turf for my pooch to lay on. Wine list is limited but the red blend was decent for the price. Bouncers did good job on carding, some people in another group had to leave bc they didn't bring their ID. Cool hip vibe near the campground. Easy walk and nice place to hang outside with heaters. Service outside was prompt as soon as I sat down.“
“The food is excellent! its almost a secret hideaway of quiet at the mall! The only issue was - there was only one server for the whole place so the bartender and looks like management had to jump in. All went seamlessly but a bit of a wait to get attention.“
“Great date night spot. My girlfriend and I came in for some cocktails, we ordered two off the menu and we each had a "Dealers Choice" where the bartenders asked some questions and mixed up two amazing drinks that were perfect to our taste! Customer service was amazing here and the decor fits perfectly. We will definitely be back!“
“Man, I am glad I felt the urge to check this place out. I had heard they do mimosas to go, they had a sign confirming that, but by the time we left I was far too full to want to even consider it! Very dog friendly, they were even putting dogs "inside" (the whole place is just covered patios, so no matter where you sit you'll be a bit exposed to the elements). We got one of the tables right out front, and it was so much fun for people watching! We had a great time just seeing all the people (and their dogs of course) walking by. They had $5 mimosas while we were there, which was fun. Oh my gosh, the chicken pot pie was enormous! I have a big appetite and I could barely finish it, but I did because it was also insanely good. My wife enjoyed her lamb burger. They have a big bowl of dog treats out front, and our dogs enjoyed those as well. The prices are definitely a bit expensive here, but the portion sizes definitely made up for it. We will certainly be back here.Kid-friendliness: They make you park strollers in the back.“
“Tried Park Commons on a warm February Friday, just after 12. The main hall was packed with people, but my lunch companion and I were able to place our order at the kiosk and easily find a table outdoors rather quickly. Once your order is ready, you will get a text to pick it up, which is easy enough. The food: I ordered the cheeseburger combo Cheeseburger - 3/5 stars The meat is pre-formed, not my favorite, and it had too much thousand island sauce. However, the vegetables were vibrant and fresh, and that crusty looking bun... anything but! It was so well-toasted it added to the overall flavor elevating what would be an average cheeseburger. Tots - 5/5 stars! One tiny little bag seems to hold a ton of tasty tots! They were cooked and salted to perfection, served fresh, so they were nice and hot. The combo comes with a fountain drink of your choice with free refills. Park Commons is a bit hard to find, but a nice addition to the business center. Some resident businesses are offered a 15% discount. If you are one of the lucky few and are eligible, place your order at the bar where they will key it in for you. You cannot get the discount if ordering at the kiosk.“
“Just finished an amazing night at ALCE 101. The food was terrific, The drinks were outstanding and the cheesecake is off the hook. Don’t delay, get a reservation and show up for an amazing nite with the one you love. Thank you ALCE 101 ❤️???“
“Another great night at the office ! The pool tables are the highlight along with immediate friendly welcome when I walked in. I love the decor of old sports memorabilia and the gorgeous painting of classic Encinitas surf spot Cardiff By the Sea !“
“Stopped by tower last Wednesday for lunch and was greeted by julia the nicest bartender ever. She let me sample a couple of the house beers before I decided on the tower ipa which for a house beer was very impressive. The place has a ton of tvs as well as a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was enjoyable and I definitely will return. Hope julia is working next time I pop in!“
“Parking can be a little challenging but with patience you’ll find a spot.Food was great! Service as well.It was a double date. We shared a large pizza and a the Apple walnut salad among the 4 of us. Salad not pictured we do outed it before I could take a picture. My husband also got the chicken Parmesan, with spaghetti. The bread they offer was dangerously good.“
“We came here on a SUNDAY morning for brunch and enjoyed ourselves. The breeze was incredible when it was over 100 degrees everywhere else. My husband had the eggs Benedict and I had an omlet. The food met our expectations. The servers were pleasant and attentive. Well be back with friends next time.“
“Nice restaurant, has been around for many years. Large outdoor patios. Decor is nice.Vegetarian options: Ask themDietary restrictions: Tell themParking: Not a typical restaurant with a parking lot. Street parking on surrounding streeta.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the food. No kids menu. Have to order apps or adult plateWheelchair accessibility: Lots of stairs, but I am sure they have a ramp or lift somewhere.“
“Tony B took amazing care of our party, as we celebrated my son and my birthdays. He was very available, helped with wine selection and made sure we were all set! Thank you, you’re awesome!PS. If you love salmon and pesto, get here soon! Also the ricotta cavatelli was delicious. ?“
“Last weekend, we decided to go for a crab bake at Crab Hut and ended up sampling two of their enticing dishes. The restaurant was a well-organized space adorned with a charming oceanic theme. We ended up sitting outside in the sun and it was amazing, although the interior was equally inviting. Parking was a breeze, especially if you opt for the southern end of the lot rather than vying for a spot directly in front of the establishment. Our dining experience kicked off with stellar customer service. It's worth noting that a gratuity of 18% is automatically included in the bill—an arrangement we found reasonable given the exceptional service we received. In fact, our waitress went above and beyond, promptly seating us with a warm smile and attending to our needs with remarkable attentiveness. Despite the tip being pre-added, we felt inclined to add more as a token of appreciation for the outstanding service.Turning to the food, we started with a serving of calamari and fries. While the portion sizes justified the price, we found the calamari lacking in flavor and seemed overcooked. However, the fries salvaged the appetizer, boasting a satisfying crunch and delightful seasoning. For our main courses, we opted for the Spicy Cajun Pasta and the Spicy Jambalaya. Both dishes were executed flawlessly, with the pasta perfectly cooked and infused with just the right amount of spice to complement the succulent shrimp. The Jambalaya, teeming with an abundance of seafood and meat, surprised us with its robust flavor profile. Though I would have preferred a bit more heat, the dish still left a lasting impression. In conclusion, our dining escapade at Crab Hut left us with a generally positive impression. While the appetizer fell short of expectations, the exceptional service and well-prepared entrees more than made up for it. We look forward to revisiting Crab Hut in the future for another taste of their enticing seafood offerings.“
“We had a fantastic experience tonight at Craft House. The food and drinks were great. But our server, Megan, was even better. She was kind, attentive, informative and thorough. The sky deck and craft house (etc) experience is truly one of a kind! A must check out meal/experience!“
“My husband and I had dinner on Valentine's Day there and we were surprised that It was a quiet night for this place - maybe people don't choose a sports bar for Valentine's Day but it was great choice for us. My husband had the ahi tuna and I had a half sandwich and delicious tomato soup. The margarita was excellent and so was the brownie dessert. We had wonderful service - no doubt because the place was practically empty. It was a lovely evening.“

“Regardless if you eat at the bar or the dining room- the food will be wonderful. I like to get a bar reservation when I'm in the mood for their unique sushi. I'm always treated to the freshest plates and epic service! The dining room is more limited. A three course dinner and an upscale atmosphere. You really can't go wrong. The Market is a place I frequent regularly.“
