“I know people have said it before, but the location of the Beach & Taco Shack is fantastic. The ocean, live music, cocktails and taco, what's not to love?! We got the Beef Barbacoa Taco and Surf & Birria Taco and damn they were good. Two of us got the sunset beach and neither of us were fans. The whiskey point and peachy bottom were very tasty. The guys mixing and taking orders were super friendly and very welcoming.“
“Perfect location ! In front of the iconic Hotel del Coronado and right on the beach, this place is perfect to chill and enjoy what the beach has to offer. Friendly waiters help with choices and serve with a smile. The food is great. I tried the Cheese Pupusas and they were just perfect. We also had a taste of the Crispy chicken and the açaí bowl which were on point. There are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options and the place seems to be seasonally active. Check it out!“
“This is a nice bar with a beautiful view of the Pacific and Wi-Fi. My husband likes to come here and work whenever he's with me in San Diego and I'm on NASNI for work for the day. They have a smaller food menu but fries are very good and staff is attentive. As expected, for a bar at the fancy Hotel Del Coronado, it's classy and elegant and prices are exceedingly high. Like a club soda is $7 high. Still, a beautiful place to spend an afternoon or sunset.“
“Service was unusually distracted, with table clearing occurring prior to permission and large periods of time between service. Reaching across guests and late bottle of wine delivery caught my attention. Perhaps there was a shortage of staff last night? The kitchen did not disappoint which is always my experience at Animae. ❤️❤️“

“Happy hour menu tonight and all was exceptional except the jamon croquettes. No flavor at all and they were out of caviar even though it was on the menu!!! Shame!!! However the service at the bar was exceptional! Friendly, professional and timely.“

“Beautiful location. Very spacious. Outdoor dining on a chilly March evening was just fine due to the heat lamps, which lent to the ambiance. The kampachi appetizer was delicious. Dirty martini and old fashioned were expertly made. Salmon has a nice crispy skin and beurre blanc sauce was decadent. Recommend for families, couples, friends, etc - everyone is made welcome.
