We came here for a quick drink and app while waiting to check in to the hotel del. It was around 3 pm and busy but not terribly so, we grabbed a table and found they had a $75 minimum which seemed like an absurd thing to enforce for a bar and was quite high. We ordered drinks which were ridiculously over priced at $22 bucks. I requested a boulevardier which was on their menu, but what I got was an old fashioned. This is a nice bar with a beautiful view of the Pacific and Wi-Fi. My husband likes to come here and work whenever he's with me in San Diego and I'm on NASNI for work for the day. They have a smaller food menu but fries are very good and staff is attentive. As expected, for a bar at the fancy Hotel Del Coronado, it's classy and elegant and prices are exceedingly high. Like a club soda is $7 high. Still, a beautiful place to spend an afternoon or sunset.

Surprisingly stale vibe & atmosphere for such a gorgeous and esteemed hotel. Went for an espresso martini nightcap but the bartender was unable to accommodate with request for decaf.
