“I stopped for lunch on a business trip. The service and food were great. I had the chicken fajitas for lunch. They provide chips and salsa with before and during the meal.
The only difficulty on stopping here was the parking. It is very limited and street parking is the only accessible option. I had to walk about 4 blocks but will not detour me from visiting again the next time I am in the area. Also I would assume will depend on the time of day that you visit.

“Honestly could be considered a bit pricy until you finish your first drink. The bar tenders make some of the best drinks I've ever had and at first they seem to just be heavy on the fruit but about halfway thru you realize they balance the alcohol perfectly so you cant tell that they definitely make them very sturdy for a day at the beach. As for the tacos, I usually end up having several by the end of the day they are just so balanced and flavorful. Good portion size too (I usually get several fish tacos and one or two shrimp thru the day). I will always recommend the classic margarita with a tajin rim or the watermelon drinks they make. The fruit garnish is to die for and very refreshing complement to the drink itself. I am very passionate about this place.“

The manager Brenda always makes sure to take of her customers. Even when they are really really busy they handle it correctly and have everything under control. “I called in a to-go order on a Tuesday around 8 PM. When I arrived, the restaurant was pretty busy. Since I needed to pay for my order, I had to wait behind four customers who were placing their orders before I could get to the counter. It would be much more convenient if there were a separate area for customers picking up / call-in orders so they could quickly pay and grab their food without waiting in the regular line.

I ordered the:

•California Burrito: it was delicious. The fries were crispy, and it had the perfect balance of guacamole and sour cream inside. The green sauce on top added a ton of flavor to it. The burrito was also a generous size. I ended up saving about a third of it for later.

The employees were very friendly and even thanked me for waiting. My order was ready when I arrived, about 10 minutes after calling it in. The restaurant was clean, and there was plenty of complimentary parking available in the lot.

Overall, great food, friendly service, and a clean environment.“

“My significant other and I ate here for the first time today. He ordered the fish taco. I guess it was delicious because he didn't even offer me a bite like he usually would when we try new restaurants. Lol. I ordered the 3 taco platter. And yes I had him try all 3 tacos. Oh my gosh! Amazing! Tasty! Atmosphere beautiful! Fast service and the staff was friendly, funny, helpful, and patient. We'll definitely be back!“

“Stopped by El Charro and had the carne asada tacos—absolutely amazing. The meat was flavorful and cooked perfectly. What really stood out was the hot sauce bar—all three sauces were incredible and each brought something different to the table. Definitely worth checking out. Come try it for yourself.“

“Have driven by this truck a thousand times but never stopped by until tonight, and we were so happy we did! We’ve been sleeping on this place for way too long. The cabeza, adobada, and birria tacos were all cooked perfectly and the salsas were on point too. Lastly, the carne asada in their California burrito couldn’t have been better. The service was also as friendly as can be, making sure we got everything you need. I think we found our new regular spot. Oh and they might have the best Jamaica.“

The chili relleno is $4 and taste amazing, the carnasada taco was $3.50 and was a pretty decent size, and the flying saucer was $10 and was pretty big. Overall the food was really good! “I stop here every time I’m in this side of my neighborhood. Take the 15 freeway and Exit El Cajon Blvd, go East a few blocks but don’t pass Menlo Ave. Look for Fish and Birria signs waving. They have the whole parking lot just drive in! I usually have two or three Fish tacos (w/o crema) and a pop then they usually know when I’m done because my to-go order is hot and ready!! My grandson is very picky but he looks forward to their Carne Asada Quesa taco’s. I’ve tried a lot off their menu and have never been disappointed, ever. They also GIVE you a “Consommé” which is actually a small portion of their seafood soup not just the fluid, I’ve had whole shrimp in mine many times and small pieces of fish. They’re not stingy with their variety of hot salsas/chili pods and garnishes (limes, cilantro, onions and pickled onions. Lots of ice cold canned and bottled drinks to choose from. This is my only food truck I trust 100% and love their quality of cooking. You’ll agree too once you try them out!“

“First time here and I was happy with my experience overall.
The price was absolutely reasonable and affordable.
The staff were very friendly.
The space was clean and the Bathroom was clean as well.
The drinks here are Pepsi products.
They have a small freezer there where they sell Mexican popsicles...yum! I bought 3 and it came out to $9 even.
The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The burrito was so big.
My only issue was that the meat was very salty (which could be just my taste preference issue). Other than that, every was great!
Definitely check out this place if you are near one of their locations.“

“I recently visited el Rey Moro when I was looking for some takeout for the beach, found this on Google and decided to give it a shot. I was soooooo happy! The service is great! The lady at the registered was very patient, knowledgeable, helpful and polite. The food was ready very quick! We got some burritos and holy moly, it was delicious! It was the size of my forearm!
