“Honestly could be considered a bit pricy until you finish your first drink. The bar tenders make some of the best drinks I've ever had and at first they seem to just be heavy on the fruit but about halfway thru you realize they balance the alcohol perfectly so you cant tell that they definitely make them very sturdy for a day at the beach. As for the tacos, I usually end up having several by the end of the day they are just so balanced and flavorful. Good portion size too (I usually get several fish tacos and one or two shrimp thru the day). I will always recommend the classic margarita with a tajin rim or the watermelon drinks they make. The fruit garnish is to die for and very refreshing complement to the drink itself. I am very passionate about this place.“

“Absolutely phenomenal service. Always have a great experience when I go in there. They always get the food right, everyone working in there is very professional. The manager Brenda always makes sure to take of her customers. Even when they are really really busy they handle it correctly and have everything under control. Good environment, great service and great place to eat.“

“My significant other and I ate here for the first time today. He ordered the fish taco. I guess it was delicious because he didn't even offer me a bite like he usually would when we try new restaurants. Lol. I ordered the 3 taco platter. And yes I had him try all 3 tacos. Oh my gosh! Amazing! Tasty! Atmosphere beautiful! Fast service and the staff was friendly, funny, helpful, and patient. We'll definitely be back!“

“This place was honestly a great find after a long day at the beach. We overheard some people talking about this taco shop and decided we would try it. The service was great and the food came out quick and in big portions. Only problem with it is there’s no water cups or fountains for refills, just cans but that seems to be the trend in this area. I got the California burrito and it was one of the better burritos I’ve had in my life. Maybe some Latino music playing in there could be nice too.“

“Had to check out Birrieria Enriquez: North Park’s Finest Taco Restaurant while in San Diego and it did not disappoint. The owners were incredibly welcoming, the birria tacos were so good we ended up ordering more, and every bite was packed with flavor. Easily a must-visit taco spot when you’re in San Diego.“

“Solid california burrito. Decent size, not huge but not tiny either. Great ingredient ratio but salsa was mid, not terrible but not amazing. Could do without the whole burrito tasting like raw onions but hoping that was maybe a one off of them just not cleaning the area where they diced onions earlier that day.
Id say its in the top 10 California's in San Diego, and top 3 in Point Loma. Not sure Id go again with them being so close to 2 other spots I prefer, but it was worth trying for sure.“

“This is a great stop to make if you are looking for some awesome fish tacos. It is off the beaten path of downtown SD, but worth the trip. Very small seating area and you may have to wait, but worth it! Nice staff and service.“

“Excellent burrito, but for the price of $15 they really ought to include fries or a salad, too.
Thankfully they had a vegan burrito, because the other places I passed in Gaslamp had nothing vegan.
Not allowing customers to use the bathroom is ridiculous, though.“

“Very good california burrito, I just recommend adding guacamole, as it comes with just the carne, potatoes and cheese as it is. The meat had such a nice char on it and was seasoned nicely. They don’t skimp out. The fries were crispy too.
Probably my fave cali burrito I’ve had in all of SD so far!“

“If you’re looking for Mexican food, this is a place I always stop by. The tacos are great, and they don’t cheap out on the meat. They also serve carne asada fries and mar y tierra fries, which are a must-try when you order.I can personally say it does get packed, food will take time to perfect but it’s fine . Overall food is great, atmosphere is great , workers are great .“

“Have driven by this truck a thousand times but never stopped by until tonight, and we were so happy we did! We’ve been sleeping on this place for way too long. The cabeza, adobada, and birria tacos were all cooked perfectly and the salsas were on point too. Lastly, the carne asada in their California burrito couldn’t have been better. The service was also as friendly as can be, making sure we got everything you need. I think we found our new regular spot. Oh and they might have the best Jamaica.“

“As a local, among all the taco places I tried in San Diego, I’m certain that this place is the best. Don’t want to compare specifically here with other famous taco places in SD, but this place is the most similar to tacos I tried in Mexico. The tacos were made with extremely fresh ingredients and they were super tasty. Service is also very good! FYI, I went there in a perfect time like 4pm and there was so wait, but I saw the line was getting long when we existed around 5pm. Controversially, I personally have thought SD does not actually that many good taquerias (I think LA is much better) but I’m glad I finally found a very good one here“

“Humberto's is our community favorite taco shop, a taco shop that is well-known all over the world.People come from all over to come to Humberto's Taco Shop 💜👏🏿👏🏿,We have family that come from everywhere. When they come , everybody wants to first , Sergio. Sergio is the owner who is a family and friend environment. He has always been on top of his game period ,,And he is also a very sweet and loving young man. My sons know him very well. I always have called him from way back in the day my other son, I'm very proud of him, continued success, always for the 43rd street Humbertos hands down 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 In southeast san diego period“
“Great place for quick bite to eat in downtown San Diego.
Ordered the chicken tacos (on flour tortillas)....delicious! They also offer complimentary self serve condiments: cucumbers, radishes, peppers & limes.
It can get super busy especially following a major event like a baseball game but the service is fast.
FYI...prices are high for street tacos but it’s in a busy tourist area. Recommend ordering a full meal (beans rice) if you’re really hungry as street tacos are smaller than regular size tacos.“

“I hate this place. It has ruined Mexican food for me. I thought I liked my local Mexican restaurant back home on the east coast but now I’ll only be able to think of these tacos.
I feel lied to, like the world has cheated me out of real Mexican food. I can’t believe I’ve lived so long without this in my life. These tacos were revelatory.“

“The food is very tasty and they are big portions! Bonus they are very reasonably priced! The chili relleno is $4 and taste amazing, the carnasada taco was $3.50 and was a pretty decent size, and the flying saucer was $10 and was pretty big. Overall the food was really good! I would definitely recommend!“

“We are regular customers of South Beach. We had dinner last night (Jan 21st) around 6 pm. Service and table were fine. I chose the Voodoo shrimp/sausage dish off the special menu. It was sub standard and had little shrimp or sausage. Watery and really not remarkable. First time we ever had a bad meal. Usually anything you pick is magnificent. Spent 240.00 for a below average meal. Just thought you should know. Thank you.“

“First time here and I was happy with my experience overall.
The price was absolutely reasonable and affordable.
The staff were very friendly.
The space was clean and the Bathroom was clean as well.
The drinks here are Pepsi products.
They have a small freezer there where they sell Mexican popsicles...yum! I bought 3 and it came out to $9 even.
The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The burrito was so big.
My only issue was that the meat was very salty (which could be just my taste preference issue). Other than that, every was great!
Definitely check out this place if you are near one of their locations.“

“This is a great place to eat. The Western vibe is awesome and the service is pretty good. Not amazing, but pretty good. Waiters and waitresses are attentive, but when it gets busy, it takes them a little longer to come back around to you. They just hired a new waitress, so hopefully this has changed. The food is great though. It's my buddy's and mine spot to get a fish taco or quesa taco after a good mountain bike ride.“
“Don't be deceived by the food truck, this is one of the best street taco venues you'll come across in San Diego. As a native San Diegan, I'm continually on the hunt for Mexican food and I finally found my local hidden gem. The food was delicious, service was very helpful and incredibly fast and great value for the quantity, quality and experience. Check it out!“

“I stop here every time I’m in this side of my neighborhood. Take the 15 freeway and Exit El Cajon Blvd, go East a few blocks but don’t pass Menlo Ave. Look for Fish and Birria signs waving. They have the whole parking lot just drive in! I usually have two or three Fish tacos (w/o crema) and a pop then they usually know when I’m done because my to-go order is hot and ready!! My grandson is very picky but he looks forward to their Carne Asada Quesa taco’s. I’ve tried a lot off their menu and have never been disappointed, ever. They also GIVE you a “Consommé” which is actually a small portion of their seafood soup not just the fluid, I’ve had whole shrimp in mine many times and small pieces of fish. They’re not stingy with their variety of hot salsas/chili pods and garnishes (limes, cilantro, onions and pickled onions. Lots of ice cold canned and bottled drinks to choose from. This is my only food truck I trust 100% and love their quality of cooking. You’ll agree too once you try them out!“

“We had a great experience here. Even during the very busy memorial day weekend, the service here was fantastic. We were sat quickly, servers were attentive and both drinks and food came out was faster than expected.
The food was very good and fresh. We got the frozen paloma and Pina colada and both were very good. The restaurant itself was super clean and was very pretty. We would definitely come back or visit another location.“
