“We have been looking for a place that served tasty Acai Bowls…Our favorite Acai bowl places either, closed down, burned down or changed the way they made their Acai bowls…We found Liquid Bean Café on the internet and decided to give it a try…Well, we both had the Acai bowls but I added an Egg Salad Sandwich pressed in a Panini press to our order…The Acai Bowls were fresh and totally delicious!!!…I really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and loved the way it was pressed and toasted in the Panini press…We highly recommend Liquid Bean Café if you are ever in the Del Mar area…We will definitely be back again!!!…Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“My friend and I went on a weekday morning in the winter and the patio area still had plenty of seating and was a really pleasant experience. That is definitely the main selling points is the atmosphere. The coffee is good for sure but I’ve had better coffees. I do like that they have a bunch of special options that are fun to try and different than what you might get somewhere else. The barista was also very friendly and patience with me as I explored the menu.
Parking: We parked across the main road on the street.“

“After a nice, relaxing walk at Del-Mar Dog Beach, my friend & I stopped to have frozen yogurt, my favorite dessert! What made this more special was that It was her birthday, & this was her first time trying frozen yogurt. She loved it, as I did also. We REALLY appreciated my Service dog being welcomed also. It felt like home w/both your friendly employees & other people around, enjoying the nice service & music.... Thanks, again & may God continue to bless you all! ? ??✝️???“

Nutella acai bowl is what's pictured under their outdoor seating area. Arguably the best acai around straight from the source??

“Top notch is every single way. They have an incredible brunch in a beautiful restaurant with very pleasant outdoor seating options. We had an incredible protein packed almond butter and cacao smoothie, a super flavorful chilaquiles omelette, a veggie packed greens sandwich, and the indulgent hot breakfast wrap. Every bite was better than the last.
I highly recommend this cafe. It's a healthy restaurant with a great variety of options. This vegetarian friendly, brunch, lunch, and dinner spot is now my go to place to eat. Whether you want Mexican food, fresh food, or just something delicious, OGA is the best restaurant near me!

“Caveat: only rating the bubble tea experience. Everything we've had here has been great! A few more traditional tea options, fantastic fruit smoothie or smoothie-adjacent drinks, and my particular favorite, the Thai-tea slush (which can, and should, contain boba). Very good all around. The options are a bit limited in the boba category, which is the only real limitation. However, there are a wide variety of other options, including food, that are probably just as good if you're interested in them.“

“New shop here in LA fitness. I loved the old one and was wary of trying this out. Didn’t catch the owners name but he’s a personable guy and delivers excellent customer service and varied drink options. I would highly recommend hanging out, grabbing a pre or post workout shake and enjoying the atmosphere!“

“The best juice in the world. Truly the best sugar cane juice I’ve ever had even in a tropical country! It’s grown right here in San Diego, and it’s the sweetest and freshest ever!
Plus if you didn’t know sugar cane juice is so healthy and healing, don’t be afraid of the sugar and go get yourself some nectar of the gods, pure liquid gold, natures Gatorade, pure magic ?“

“Delicious, light refreshing drinks that are not overly sweet like most places. Also the gal who was giving samples, who else rang me up, was kind and friendly with a positive attitude. Looking forward to coming back and trying a different drink next time! Had the iced hibiscus tea one today and it was so yummy! Didn’t have to ask for half/less sweet. Great place!“

“We wanted açaí bowls and found some really fun treats here. I loved that they had some great toppings: pollen, hemp seeds, ashwaganda, chia, etc.
My preference is less sweet, and it tasted like the açaí was sweetened as well as the granola… so that’s why 4 stars for me instead of 5. If you like sweet… you’ll love it.
We also wanted a green drink and the number of green ingredients was a little limited.
Loved the service! They have indoor and outdoor tables.“
“Carlos, the owner, was our host and was playing some very cool/hip music which we loved. He introduced himself and told us all about this new venture for him and his partner and wife. The smoothie I got was delicious (mango) and so was the one my wife got (coconut). Make sure to stop by and have some samples and then pick the one you like best. Que Dios Los bendiga! And why not…it’s JC….“

“Best Juice in town. I usually go in a couple of times a week to get the V6. It has beets, apples, carrots, and celery. I usually add an orange to it also. Makes me feel energized and clean. They also have a pretty tasty Acai bowl with granola and peanut butter. Very accommodating if you have allergies. Has been in business almost 20 years with the same owner. You have to give them a shot. Every couple of weeks, I do the 3 day cleanse. If I'm feeling brave, I do the 6 day cleanse. My girlfriend likes the raspberry smoothie.
Vegetarian options: Clean juices with just veggies.
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.
Parking: Very easy to park.“

“Don’t order with your eyes because you won’t finish… trust me, it’s that good! They have to have the “best” Viet BANH CUON (steamed rice rolls) in town! Also the best BANH Mi Chao (Beef, sausage, meatball, eggs, and French roll skillet) for a great value too! I will most definitely come back again …and I live 30 minutes away in East Chula Vista! I highly recommend. 5 STARS!!!“

“Cute tea shop in Del Mar strip mall. It was busy when I arrived (good sign). I got a black jade milk tea omomo style with tiramisu foam and brown sugar boba. It was $8 and delicious. There's no place to sit inside or out but I found tables just down the sidewalk.“
“I had the acai super berry bowl. Now, first things first, it IS pricey ($14.95!), BUT it is huge! Acts as a full meal or share it w someone. The best parts: it’s consistent (I had it 4 days in a row while visiting Del Mar), and you can add protein powder (I added whey), which a lot places don’t accommodate. The granola that comes w it is just the right amount and is super tasty - Total homerun!“

“Walking up to this juicery for the first time I was very curious.
Upon entering I noticed that the staff was very friendly and welcoming as well as the environment. There were many choices and options on the menu. When I got my order it was a very good size portion and had plenty of flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed the PB&J bowl! As well as the Acai bowl!“

“I don't usually leave such long reviews, but this place is probably my favorite place in San Diego County.
My wife and I have been to Jeff's Burgers only half a dozen times and it's always feels like such a special occasion (only because we don't live very close by). If we lived in the area I swear this would be my weekend tradition. The menu is simple, but not boring. The staff is working their butts off, but still always so friendly. And the food is always a knock out of the park.
On our most recent visit, October 19 2024, it was a fairly busy time of day. Late lunch, around 2:30pm. Every seat was taken and there was a line out the door, but no one was impatient, these burgers are known to be worth the wait. The woman at the register (who I learned later was the General Manager, Marina) was helping the little boy in front of us decide how he liked his burger. With or without onions? pickles? etc. She was never pushy and let him take his time figuring out how he liked his food. She cared, in a way that was so loving, to make sure he was going to have a meal he enjoyed. With every interaction she prioritized the customer's experience of the establishment and the food over everything else. In between customers she assured everyone waiting in line that she appreciated our patience and that she would help us soon. When it was time to take our order she was the sweetest thing.
When she asked for my name so that they could call it out when our order was ready she had a great reaction to me saying "Jeff", because of the likeness to the restaurant's name. We all agreed that she should take my wife's name (Selina) down instead because it was more fun to say. She even spelled it right on the first try, which is uncommon, and she credited it to French being her native language and that is how it is commonly spelled in French.
We got seated outside on their little patio, which is small but cute. I will say that initially their seating area can seem cramped and leave you wishing for a little more elbow room, but I have found that it forces you to interact with the folks sitting around you in a way that feels kind of nice. When you are sitting outside, in a beach town, under a pink umbrella, and you need to ask your neighbor to excuse you are you squeeze by with a chocolate milkshake in one hand and a box of burgers in the next, no one can be grumpy or upset. Every single customer here is always in a good mood, and it is noticeable.
This place is just pure joy.
When my wife's name was called out the Manager handed my our food and I insisted on getting her name. Her name is Marina Zablit. When I met her I assumed she must own the place based on the love and care she was putting in to every action and word that came out of her mouth.
I don't know is she is a mother, but she has that community "mom" energy that just makes you feel at home.
This restaurant cooks all of the orders on one flat top grill, and everything is cooked to order with perfection. Their burgers come out hot and ready. Their milkshakes are real home-made milkshakes, like you dream about from when you were a kid. The fries are real, none of that frozen processed junk that doesn't even taste like a potato anymore.
I am leaving such a long review because I know what it is like to watch a little town lose it's soul to big business. I am a third generation Encinitas beach town local. My family moved here in the early 1940s. My family has watched these local towns lose their little Mom and Pop shops, and lose their very soul to corporations tourism.
But somehow, places like Jeff's Burgers and nestled in there still. Still keeping the local soul alive. Still cranking out the best this town has to offer.
It's not just food, it is the whole package.
I am counting the days until my next visit, and y“

“Jamba Juice makes the whole concept of being @ UCSD of all places kind of magical. Situated within the modern design of the Price Center student quad where you walk down to the lower level. Given that the entire campus is new and forever improving and tastefully expanding is exciting! “One place we love to go to after dinner is Yomie’s Rice Yogurt. The staff members are always great and are friendly. I love that they give you suggestions and give you information on each one. The drinks are all made from fresh fruits and not frozen. They make their own type of yogurts. The drinks are flavorful and not too sweet. Tonight, we both tried one of their more popular drinks, Mango Pomelo Sago Yogurt. All I can say is that it was yummy and definitely satisfied me. We are looking forward to trying more of their flavors, including Durian.

“The problem with the matcha latte was 90% milk 10% matcha I felt I was drinking a cup of milk. It’s a large cup so they didn’t think about the ratio normally one scoop of matcha is fine for a small cup but not large. I went back add another scoop of matcha but idk I think it was either too late because he had to add more water to the extra scoop to mix it throughly and it still tasted bland overall. Maybe next time I need to try 2 scoops right away and if it’s not sufficient add a third scoop.
My matcha latte was lacking and useless at that point so I went back and ordered an iced coffee with extra shot espresso and it tasted way better.
I read another review commenting on how their coffee sucked so I could see how this coffee shop has their challenges.
If you like traditional Japanese matcha, down the road at Blue Whale their matcha latte was perfect and because I like it strong I still did add another scoop but the powder they use the flavor was there right away.
I’d be hesitant to try that again here but I did like their iced coffee, and my boyfriend enjoyed their cold brew. Their burrito looks good so I’ll give that a shot one day.
Front desk cashier man was kind so service was fast and efficient nonetheless. And I enjoyed it being a quieter cafe not loud. I hate hearing loud conversations.“

“First I will start by saying we visit this location often and live nearby. Typically all the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and all the items I've ever purchased have been top quality.
On this day my daughter and I went in and we asked for a banana protein muffin and an acai bowl to be split into two bowls. The girl working there looked confused at the request but still accommodated us.
When the bowl came out my half was still unblended with numerous large frozen strawberries still chillin in the bowl . I let the girl know, and the look on her face was like I had just asked her for a ride to the airport. She said "it happens", and that she could fix it but it would take a while... she was very clearly annoyed. I felt bad for even mentioning it.
The manager, Gonzo, didn't hesitate and kindly said he was going to remake it and that it was no problem at all. We really appreciated his prompt and friendly demeanor and he did it in such a way that didn't make us feel bad for bringing it to their attention. Five stars to Gonzo for his patience and professionalism ?“

“Parakeet Juicery has, in my opinion, the perfect açal bowl. It's called the Brazilian bowl. It is hands down amazing. Quality açaí that is perfect, not too watery not too frozen. I won't tell their secret but they blend it with something that makes it out of this world. I will sometimes add pineapple and almond butter as well. As far as smoothies I love the Fit 4 Life. “Although a little pricey (but what do you expect) they were overall very good. The detoxify drink is great if you like ginger and the protein bowl is amazing but the green drink left my comrade with a bitter taste in his mouth lol. “Here is this my constructive review. I have been going to this smoothie shop since they opened their doors on MCAS. They are a welcome addition. The smoothies are not to unreasonably priced, and they offer good selection as well as a variety of mix ins that allow for even more possibilities. The service is usually pretty good with no complaints on my part, though I would ask for reward numbers more often if I were you. Here is the biggest downside I have found. Your working hours are really missing the mark. You operate on a marine corp base, but completely ignore the working hours of your biggest client. These marines are not able to straggle in at 0700 or 1600 to make it in time for a smoothie. They operate very early and leave even later sometimes. Many marines are at the gym at 0500 or even 0600 trying to get a good lift in. Those who like to post their workout will usually opt to work out after working hours between 1600 - 1800 is the next magic hour. What I crave after an intense workout is a protein packed, refreshing smoothie. But alas, one is never available when it is truly needed. I would seriously consider opening at 0600 and closing at 1800 to maximize your hitting all of your possible customers vs just those families or select few who can find time to make it. In addition to operating hours. Thus far I have found 4 separate occasions where you were either open almost 30mins after 0700 or closed 30 minutes before 1600. It's a really big let down to arrive at the posted time or reasonably before closing to try to snag a smoothie, just to find a locked door. If you fixed your operating hour issues in both time available and being on time for your availability that is posted, I believe you would be a 5 star business that would put Jamba juice to shame.“

“On my way to Marshalls, I stopped by this locations which had an extensive menu. Initially, I considered the mango pineapple tea, but since it was afternoon and I wanted to avoid caffeine, I opted for the caffeine-free sparkling strawberry lime tea instead. The staff member was helpful in confirming caffeine or not, and the order was prepared quickly. While the tea tasted good, I found the strawberry purée a bit heavy, as I prefer smoother teas without pulp. Next time, I'll choose a tea without purée. Overall, I would recommend this refreshing option.“
