There is a little bit of indoor seating and a lot of covered outdoors seating with shade cloths hung down the sides. Not a bad vibe at all despite it being connected to a gas station parking lot.“

“I love Mexican food and I hit all the places I can. El Pueblo has the best shredded chicken chimichangas I've ever had. Chicken was tender, seasoned well, the chili was crispy, the red sauce was delicious. Here from AZ to hit the beach and found this place on Google. And a shout out to Bobby, he took care of a minor issue immediately. Great customer service too.“

“Absolute 10/10 taco spot! Everything was so fresh, and full of flavour. Big bonus points for being organic. I was torn between the shrimp and Baja so got both, but would have preferred the Baja fish tacos all in. I would say they were in the top 3 I’ve ever had while in California! Menu was huge too with a lot of selection. Tortilla chips were perfectly cooked, and I regret not buying a bag before leaving. Hot sauce selection (which they bring to your table) was also fantastic, and a perfect addition to the beans or chips if you’re into a bit of spice. Absolutely recommend hitting this spot up when you’re in the area. Seating can be tricky when it’s busy, but definitely worth the wait! Also dog friendly which was a bonus 😊🐾

“I didn’t expect much but was surprised to get the tastiest food I ever ate in Mexican place. I suppose it was because the Taco Oasis shack was a first for me,beng used to restaurants, but those people know how to prepare the most tasty tacos I’ve ever eaten. They also add avocado no extra charge. Carne Asada Taco only $3.50 each. What a deal!“

“South of Nick's, located in One Paseo, is a great restaurant with a great selection of Mexican cuisine. The delicious, not-overly-salty tortilla chips are served with beans and mild and hot salsas. I highly recommend ordering the fresh guacamole for the table to share; it's a great complement to the chips. It was difficult to choose an entree, but I went with the El Vaquero. The steak was cooked perfectly, with the enchilada being the best I've had in San Diego. It also came with filet taquitos, guac, and refried beans, all of which were wonderful. I highly recommend South of Nick's for your next dinner out, regardless of your party size.“

“The food tastes very good. One quesa birria taco is enough for a person. Very good portion sizes. Salsa bar is limited, with only spicy options. Their Birria based dishes are good compared to sea food. Very refreshing to see a fresh sliced avocado on a below $10 taco.“

“I have been here twice and the atmosphere and service is good but this review will highlight food allergies that i wish to communicate with the powers that be. I usually dine at restaurants with labeled menus since it lessens the questions I have for waitstaff and makes me more comfortable that the establishment is accustomed to sensitive customers like myself. Upon my most recent visit, I ordered the esquites salad marked with a V. V usually indicates vegan. Cojita cheese was listed in the salad so I asked the server if it was dairyfree cheese, she was unsure. I responded I eat dairy free and don’ t want cheese or any dairy. The salad came without cheese however judging from the after effects of eating the salad, I’m certain that the dressing has dairy. I strongly suggest there is key on the menu so customers are aware vegan vs vegetarian. Also waitstaff should be well aware what items are GF, DF, vegan, etc to limit dissatisfaction.“

“found the Las Vegas Sayulitas 2 yrs ago when staying at the Luxor. there burritos are beyond spectacular. big and so delicious. I can't say it enough. and the sauces on the little sauce bar are outstanding. I've never had anything like those sauces. the hot green sauce and hot red sauce are phenomenal. I like the green the best. I lived in AZ years ago. went back home to upstate NY. there is no place near me that even comes close. I love Sayulitas and wish I had one near me. you can't go wrong if you love Mexican style food“

“I have loved Wahoos since they opened one of the first ones in Huntington Beach in the nineties! it's always fresh and clean with a great vibe. It's the easiest and safest place for me to go during the pandemic. The food is very consistent across all the stores I've been too. “It has a lot of space to sit and eat: inside and outdoor patio area. It is clean and quick to order. The food was prepared quickly, but still was fresh! The food is affordable and delicious. My partner and I got 2 burritos (1 California & 1 Surf and Turf) with 1 Large Jamaica for under $30. It is rare now in days! It might be our breakfast spot when leaving San Diego area to head home (Los Angeles).“

“Taco Tuesdays are my favorite day at this place because the food is great. However, I’ve heard that the food might be different on other days.

One thing that really annoys me is their payment system. You have to pay for your order first and then wait in line for it. The line can be incredibly long, sometimes over 30 minutes.

Despite the long wait, their system tacos are amazing on Taco Tuesdays.
Word of caution: the Al pastor tacos can be very inconsistent, one day they can be crispy with full of flavor, other days they can be soggy and bland.“
