“Super small little Mexican place that offers really good $2 tacos on Tuesdays and I might be every day but they're attached to the gas station right there off the freeway great for a quick bite to eat and they do have seating I think indoor and outdoors but not somewhere I would go with like my family for dinner but definitely pick up food for my family for dinner or if I was just me and my fiance we would definitely sit down and eat on our way to or from North County.“

“EXCELLENT!!!! Was driving by looking for breakfast in the area Leucadia/SAN DIEGO, saw this place as I drove by. Food was excellent! Organic, I had the steak and eggs. Superbly cooked. GIA helped me and was a lovely delightful young lady.😊 The atmosphere was very chill and mainly locals were there as there was a family vibe. Live music was also the reason it even more pf a vibe. “Best elevated Mexican food I’ve had in San Diego! We got the shrimp ceviche, the grilled octopus, and the chicken mole. Perfect portion sizes and the tostada chips and salsa were addicting. That was the best mole I’ve had, but that octopus is really something else. Definitely coming back for that and we want to try more on the menu! SD, put this place on!“

“This restaurant has it all. The food is excellent with the best flavors of Mexico's finest dining experiences. The vegan options are delicious, not just an afterthought as is usually the case in so many restaurants. I had the Caldo de Piedra which is a very flavorful seafood soup and which wasn't overly spicy but just spicy enough. It had a wide variety of the freshest seafood, and was brought out in a steaming rock bowl. A chef made our guacamole right by our table side with the freshest ingredients, and then they handed us the best, tasty, house-made tortilla chips. That was a unique and creative experience. Our main server, Christian, was attentive and charming. The whole evening was outstanding.“

South of Nick’s is an upscale Mexican dining experience with amazing food, a top-tier cocktail program, and a great atmosphere. Tia was our server and she was outstanding, anticipating everything we needed and making our early dinner effortless. We sat outside for the fresh California air and even though it was a little chilly, the radiant heaters kept it warm and cozy. The bar is fully stocked with a tequila selection that’s second to none, and my margarita was perfectly balanced. I had the Combo Tres Enchiladas and it was excellent, and others loved the Cabo shrimp. We also shared the chips with black bean dip, guacamole, taquitos, and tacos — everything fresh and packed with flavor. I also loved the kitchen windows where you can see how clean and dialed-in the team is behind the scenes. Parking is easy in the automated garage, but I’d recommend going early — and next time I’m grabbing the fire pit seating and working through more of the drink menu.“

“My favorite burritos in San Diego. I grew up on Mission-style burritos in the bay area. Impossible to find those in San Diego, but at Caliente I get the veggie burrito and add whatever meat I want. That is as close to a Mission-style burrito I can find in town. Everything is excellent, fresh, and good quality. Ask for the orange habanero sauce, it’s amazing!“

This was my first visit to this restaurant and the food, and the service were first rate the atmosphere was very pleasant and not too loud very comfortable and very appealing! I would say if you’re looking for really good Mexican food served at a reasonable fair price. This is the place to go in Carlsbad. The salsa and chips kept flowing and they were homemade very delicious! The bar menu was outstanding, even though I don’t personally imbibe my family did and they all enjoyed it! “I love tacos El Pueblo!!!! A San Diego classic with the famous $1.39 fish tacos (at the time of this writing) their service is fantastic. The staff is friendly. The food is great. The salsa is awesome! And the complimentary pickled carrots are a classic. I sincerely hope you will read this review and visit this esteemed establishment to give them your business as opposed to visiting a crappiestablishment such as Chipotle.“

“Very glad I found this place. It is a legit, Mexican taco shop with good prices, good portions, and good food. Many of the taco shops in the area are super overpriced and will give you a tiny burrito. Not this one. It's an honest taco shop and feels almost nostalgic since so few of these places exist in the area.“

“I recently tried Que Tortas after spending the day moving storage units and craving a good torta. I’m really glad I decided to give this place a try.

Gentleman behind the counter recommended the combo torta with pork loin and ham, and I ordered it as it comes — it was delicious. The flavors were on point, and I especially appreciated how soft and fresh the bread was, which really made the sandwich.

The place is clean and provided for a relaxing place to enjoy my torta.
They also offer a variety of healthier options. Since my girls love açaí bowls, I’ll definitely be bringing them here to try those along with their fresh juices (jugos frescos).

I can't say it enough. and the sauces on the little sauce bar are outstanding. I've never had anything like those sauces. the hot green sauce and hot red sauce are phenomenal. I like the green the best. I lived in AZ years ago. went back home to upstate NY. there is no place near me that even comes close. I love Sayulitas and wish I had one near me. you can't go wrong if you love Mexican style food“

It's the easiest and safest place for me to go during the pandemic. The food is very consistent across all the stores I've been too.
