The place cards on the table limiting the time to an hour & 30 minutes is tacky. The soft shell crab taco was fresh and delicious. The shrimp posole was served with traditional sides. Modern, sleek and upscale.We had the ceviche, birria short rib which was enough for 2 people!, the Mexican corn, and Spanish rice as sides— these were phenomenal!! “We stopped by a famer's market on a random Sunday afternoon in La Jolla and stumbled upon this food vendor making incredible looking food that made our mouths water, so naturally, we had to give them a try! They have an all-vegetarian menu which is what initially drew my Husband and I over to their tent, and when we saw the grill master cooking up some good eats, we knew we made a good choice! We ordered the chilaquiles to share, they come topped with soyrizo (plant based chorizo) and the red ranchero sauce and were the perfect amount for sharing. They were one of the most delicious chilaquiles we had ever tried, I definitely recommend giving this business a try!“

“The bacon breakfast burrito is incredible. The salsa they put on it (and all their burritos) is LEAGUES BEYOND what other taco places in this area put inside the burrito. Don’t get me wrong - La Jolla taco places are all good. But Raymundo’s is criminally slept on, given that they have the best burritos, with REAL fillings.“
“This Rubio's on UCSD campus is just as great as any Rubio's in town, plus a ton of outdoor seating with heat lamps. The employee, Victor, was so prompt, nice and helpful, you would think he was running a fine dining establishment. By far the best service I have ever got at Rubio's. Food was great and super fast. Rubio's: please don't ever get rid of the lobster burrito.“
“Food comes out super fast and the prices are really good. Also I got their birria quesadilla today and it was the best birria i’ve ever had, in my opinion better than Mikes red tacos or SD street food carts. Super crispy, juicy, and flavorful with the perfect amount of salt.“
“Hubby found this place while on business, highly recommended by local residents. We went twice in one week on our family vaca, everyone liked their food selections - my fried fish taco special was delish, kids had street tacos and quesadillas, hubby's fave are fish tacos.
