Ernes Mexican Food & Breakfast is a great mom and pop restaurant that serves delicious food and has ice cold drinks. The salsa bar is legit, with all types of sauces and hot carrots. The restaurant is clean and comfy, with lovely Mexican Music playing. Service is quick. The Carne Asada is on point. Grilled fish tacos are made with fresh fish and awesome sauce. The rolled tacos are a delicious crunchy and saucy delight, covered high with guacamole, lettuce, and sour cream. The chilaquiles verde are spicy and flavorful, with no skimp on sauce or portion size. The asada burrito is really tasty and large. Shredded beef crispy tacos are crispy with flavorful beef, and the Egg, bean and cheese burrito is large and tasty. The mariachi burrito is a uniquely amazing entree, with carne asada cooked with chorizo and rolled into a large tortilla with beans, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. The pollo asada torta was even better than hoped. Everything at Ernes is a step above other Mexican restaurants. The owner is always friendly.
