“We came here with our dog on a rainy Saturday night. We were so glad to find a place with a covered patio. But then we were pleasantly surprised with how amazing the beer and pizza were. Duh. It’s in the name. lol. Anyhow there was some confusion about our pizza but Donny went above and beyond to make it right. It was a little hectic because it was so busy but if we weren’t visiting we’d definitely be regulars. Try the Detroit style hot honey, I’ll be dreaming about it.“

From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional and made the entire process seamless. They brought their wood-fired pizza oven along with all of the tables and supplies needed, making setup completely stress-free for us.

The team was so kind and friendly to both us and our guests, and they were making fresh pizzas in what felt like minutes, it was incredible to watch! Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the pizza was all night long. We are so happy we chose Criscito Pizza to be a part of our wedding day and would highly recommend them! The Gilato was delicious too- try the cannoli flavor! Not only was the food great, but the customer service matched. The two ladies were beyond friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!“

“Met the owner and his family on the train going toward Encinitas and they were some of the coolest train folk I’ve ever met. They were kind enough to give me and my partner a free box of their grand slam pizza (which we both devoured due to the deliciousness.) I think it’s safe to say that, that was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had on a train before. Or ever. I’m not located in vista whatsoever, however, I’d make a 2 hour trip to grand slam solely to get another taste of that pizza. (And ranch!) I never got the owners name unfortunately, but me and my partner were very grateful for your kindness and pizza that day. Hope to visit grand slam soon!!“

“The food here is something unique when it comes to pizza. The pizza varieties are excellent, and the dirty crust option is a must! The Ceaser salad is great, but what happened to all the capers? They are almost nonexistent in the salads now. Lately, the pizza has been burnt or undercooked, super bummed about that, and hoping the consistency returns.“

“Had a late lunch with friends on a rainy Sunday. It was pouring rain, the only way to park in the restaurant parking lot was to valet, otherwise you have to park on the street or further away in another parking lot. The food, service and view was excellent. I couldn't help but to notice how stained the dining chairs were and the tables looked worn and tired. It's too bad the management doesn't see this and address it. The prices are very reasonable, it's worth a try if you love fresh Italian cuisine.“
