“This is a gem of a place. Excellent pizza, fantastic service, and the gelato - YUM!!! It's been around for decades, the founder Pauly is in there early every morning to make the dough and sauce. Authentic and oh so good. Mona is wonderful as well.

They have a sketchy competitor who chose a similar name - don't get fooled. Pauly's Pizza Joint is the only Pizza Joint to go to.

There was a young aged asian girl who attended us . She was not very friendly from start to finish. She answered questions with an attitude, never smiled . Overall it was some of the most unfriendly awkward service I've ever experienced, just a bummer my parents had to experience it too on their first visit .pizza was still great though

“I stay at the Townplace Marriott Once a year for business. I always stop in. There staff is friendly and prompt. The pizza is great. Salads are fresh served with all the right stuff. You need to check it out.“

“This wasn’t some nice restraunt it is literally just a bar but the waitress was amazing and made sure we were taken care of the whole time even we it become busy. The food was pretty good. They had sports on the tvs as you would expect. Cleanliness was okay. The drinks were good and they gave us samples of whatever we wanted. Overall I was pleased with the experience.“

You can get different thickness of dough up to thick crust. They use quality ingredients that are consistent. It is a neighborhood bar/pizza parlor. You will find regulars there which is fun. They have a wide variety of choices from pizza to great appetizers to dessert. The service is consistent and the restaurant is always clean. I've been going there since it opened. “We've been missing the closure of the Solana Beach CPK, and are so glad that CPK has now found a home in Encinitas. We had the wild mushroom pizza, chopped BBQ salad, and cauliflower bites.
