“My order was for takeout....and it was ready right on time. Everything was absolutely delicious and prices were good! The Satay chicken was tender and flavorful....Pad Woon Sen was fresh and light with crispy vegetables. Cream cheese wontons were great and served as dessert. The portions were generous with plenty left over for a second meal. Pretty sure Little Thai Kitchen is now my favorite Thai food spot!😊“

“I have been craving good Thai for a few years. I have tried some not good and some okay other places. Thai Time is so good. The aromas of the spices tortured my already empty stomach with the enticement of good food to come. I have fallen in love with the food and customer service. I will be back as my budget allows.“

“One of my favorite restaurants authentic Latin cuisine. I have been coming here for over 30 years and was so sad when it closed down during the pandemic. So glad it reopened! Can’t wait 😜 to go back. I give it 5 stars for sure!“

“Great food and great service! We’ve tried quite a lot of the options on the menu and have not been disappointed. The Tom Yum and basically of the curries are our go-to’s (they had a special Yellow Curry with Fruits which contained lychee and apples and it was sooooo good! Their thai tea and thai coffee are also a must…all in all- every time we’ve gone to eat at Pinto Thai, it hits the spot always!)“

“We discovered this restaurant pre-pandemic. Im glad it made it through. We have a calm dinner. Place was not busy during our visit. Guess thats the advantage of going out on a weekday night, with foggy weather.
We enjoyed our brisket pho. Meat slices were thick, wish they were tender and the broth was good, might need to be less salt. Tofu pad thai was good, i opt for mild spice 4/10, in case my toddler wants to try it. Me and my husband loved the Ka Na Moo Krob.
We don't know whats it in the water other than the lemon, but it taste good. We appreciate being given big bottles if water instead of waiting for someone to refill. And thank you for keeping the washroom clean.“

“Last night, my friend and I went to a marvelous restaurant; it was in the Rancho Bernardo/Poway area. Honestly, I hadn't been there yet, but had looked for something that was open late in the area. I normally live in NYC (the city that never sleeps!), and soon realized that not much in the No. Inland County of SD area is open late. So, since our friendship date was at 8 PM, this is the place that I chose. In other words, other than generally enjoying Thai food, our selection of this place was largely due to scheduling. Sometimes, it's about practicality.
Yet, once we were there, we were both pleasantly surprised by the welcoming, relaxed vibe as well as both the quantity and quality of food that they shared. (Also, we didn’t have a reservation; but they still promptly seated us, even though it was fairly busy then, which we appreciated.) We ordered countless items from the menu, and they were all tasteful and oh so filling. We went home with more than half a dozen to-go boxes, too! : ) I particularly enjoyed the coconut milk soup with veggies and the dessert, which was the fried banana rolls paired with coconut ice cream. Can you infer that I'm into coconut everything?? LOL
Last but not least, big shoutouts go out to Ivan and Roberto, for their loving hospitality and epic service. Roberto was so patient, as we asked him plenty of questions about the menu and garnered his recommendations. And - per our request - everything came out with mild, rather than maximum spice levels. Brilliant! So grateful for this wonderful experience -- even their fortune cookies were spot on. : ) I wish them only good fortune from here on out!

“I went there to eat with a coworker for lunch earlier today. It was my very first time having been there. I was recommended by a couple of my friends. The restaurant was pretty spacious and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the laab seen (ລາບຊີ້ນ) a Lao minced beef salad and the tom khueng nai (ຕົ້ມເຄື່ອງໃນ) a Lao beef innards soup with some sticky rice. Lunch was delicious. I will definitely be going back there again. I will be bringing my mom. She was actually the person that had brought up this place to me before as well. See you again in the near future.“

“We discovered this spot a while back and recently visited San Diego again and had another chance to stop by. By far this sweet little spot makes Lao Cuisine closest to homemade. All the flavors were there in the mix salad which I loved because a lot of Lao Cuisine don’t make it this way. And the fried chicken and sausage was a great pair with the salad. We also had a side of sticky rice. The set up was changed and may have different ownership? But we felt like it still hit the spot.
Many complain about the cost, unless you know how much time and effort goes into Lao Cuisine, it shouldn’t be any less than any other cuisine. Otherwise, it may be best to make it yourself at home than complain about the cost of what things should be.
We thought it was all reasonable and generous amount of food in this economy. My husband and I still didn’t finish it all.
We visit San Diego often so we will be back!“

“Needed a hole in the wall Chinese spot and I found it. Tracked them down from their second location in Grossmont Mall. Food is actually good. For San Diego, this is as good as you can get off Convoy. Classic family owned restaurant, looks like it’s been in business a while. Very kind and attentive with awesome food.“

“Says Chinese food but also has Thai food but a bunch of Vietnamese writing. Red curry is spicy. They included tail on for shrimp in the curry. Kung pao chicken was crispy and had a nice amount of heat. Pork and Chinese broccoli was good. Thai noodles with beef needs improvement and more beef. They didn’t include rice with my curry and wanted to charge $2.75 for some which is absurd. Parking lot in back“
