“Best vegan Thai food in El Cajon! I definitely recommend coming to dine in I love the decor and felt a light energy. Service was prompt and courteous and the option of the all vegan menu and delicious Thai tea has now ensured I will keep coming back. Thank you thank you thank you ??Vegetarian options: New optional all vegan options !Dietary restrictions: Vegan availableParking: Parking is in the back and there are plenty of spaces.“
“My pad Thai with tofu was absolutely delicious & my hubby loved his shrimp fried rice! The staff that was at the restaurant tonight were really nice & welcoming. Loved that he repeated my order back to me when I called my order in!Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made vegetarian & even vegan.Parking: Lots of parking! They’re located in the same area as Target.“
“Raised my review as I keep going back! This place makes fantastic food and the people are nice. If you want great, quality chinese food, this is your place to go! I always order the mock chicken in all the dishes and it is so delicious! My spouse orders the regular (real chicken) dishes and he loves them. Their hot tea is good too...not crazy about the appetizers, but the main dishes are just fantastic. Most dishes range from $16-$18 and well worth it. Go try them out!“
“This was my first experience having Thai food, and I was not disappointed. I was greeted at entry and seated immediately. The staff was kind and friendly, and happy to answer any questions. The food was amazing and I will be back for more. They offer vegetarian, vegan, and healthy options; everything is served in large portions and at affordable prices.“
“I love their food and sugar cane juice. They were fresh and tasty. The staff (maybe owner) was very nice. They seemed to have more to go orders than sit in customers. Inside of the restaurant is pretty clean more like a dinner feeling. Will definitely recommend this place and come back again!“
“Ordered delivery from here and I was pleasantly surprised! I had a tofu pad thai and loved the flavors and nuttiness the peanuts gave, which was different from any other pad thai that I've had before! It had a hint of sweetness and tanginess that I loved and complemented well together. most people say "you can't go wrong with pad thai," and I've known from first had experience that you can... but this one nailed it! I recommend. I shared cream cheese wontons as well and it came with about 8 I believe, and it had a decent amount of cream cheese, but I wish it was folded a bit differently. Because it was folded in a triangle shape, there was a lot of emptiness and air within it, which made eating it a bit odd, and it could have been avoided if it had been folded a bit differently. Maybe this is more of a personal choice, but it was alright.Mango sticky rice was really good. mangos were so fresh and sweet and loved the sticky rice it came with as well. Perfect texture.“
“We celebrated my nephews birthday yesterday at Signature Thai and had a wonderful time! This is our favorite Thai restaurant in all of San Diego and we are thrilled that we moved closer and get to visit often. However, last night was an even better experience! We had Amy as our server and she was fantastic!! Amy was attentive and patient with our large party. She made sure everything was perfect from refilling our drinks, to removing plates out of the way, to making sure the kids were comfortable and also cared for. Her attention to detail and customer satisfaction exceeded our expectations and that says a lot since this spot is already ranked really high on our list! We enjoyed seeing the wonderful thematic decor (Easter decor is up and very cute), the fish tank, and trying new delicious items on the menu. We were not disappointed! Everything we picked was very delicious and the plates are very well portioned.“
“The pad Thai was amazing and very flavorful. We also had pad se ew and that was also good. My husband's biggest complaint was we got an order of sticky rice and it was not sticky rice- it was steamed rice and a big let down when we got home. I'm not saying it broke his heart... but he was pretty upset. But pad Thai and pad se ew was yummy“
“This was a great Thai place. It’s too bad they closed the plaza. The restaurant moved and merged with what I think is their other restaurant - Corner Thai Kitchen just up the street on Friar’s, but I haven’t tried the new location yet. I hope it’s the same because this place was a winner!“
“Wow, a restaurant that can make a take out order look delicious and appealing is worth the rating! Our food was on time, prepared with thoughtfulness and delicious! No complaints at all! I look forward to sitting down and having a meal at such a great place ?“
“Food is always on point and authentic. You can just smell it when you walk in that it’s the real deal. Absolutely love the taro milk tea here! The peanut sauce is the best - they add enough spice and flavor to it. They put effort in seasonal decorations, keeping the place neat, and just the overall atmosphere is nice. One of our favorite Thai places for sure.“
“Delicious food made with love and care! I love this family owned Thai place. The restaurant is a little cozy so it may be better for take out. The portions were good and the taste was phenomenal! I'll definitely be back. Thank you for your service!“
“Although I'm not a huge fan of Thai food, I must admit that this place is really good. I haven't been to Thailand, so I can't vouch for its authenticity, but the curries are a fantastic choice. Their Tom Kha soup stands out with a unique taste not found in other versions from different restaurants. It's definitely a great spot for takeout, considering the relatively small dining room.“
“I went in yesterday, never been before. The ladies who helped me order were amazing, specially one. Thank you! I wish I would have asked your name. The food she suggested I order was amazing and just the right flavor. My family really enjoyed it. I will be back.“
“Seemed like most of their orders are take outs so the restaurants always seem a bit empty. I Love their Thai green tea, cheese wontons, chicken satay, and soup. Some of the main courses were a bit too sweet to my taste. Staff were friendly. Will come back to try more items on the menu.“
“Newly opened Lao-Thai restaurant!Cool vibe with hip interior design(compare to other restaurants in this area...)Spacious dining area with HUGE tables and comfortable booth.Get the cococane drinks! You won't regret it. Coconut water mixed with cane sugar drinks. Healthy, delicious, great before mealMust order: kapoon chicken noodle soup! This heavenly delicious soup noodle with coconut, lemongrass soup base that reminds me of tom kha soup. Very flavorful soup base. It is mixed with chicken chunks, chicken feet, pork blood?, and vegetables. OUT OF THE WORLD good.If you like fish, muk fish dish was excellent. Mouthful of fish with different spices and herbs. Taste wonderful with the side spices they provide.I personally am not a fan of the laos favorite dish. It was too much salty meat and the laos papaya salad was too salty for me(don't get me wrong I LOVE fish sauce but it is a little more salty than I can handle.)Will come back and try the fried chicken that everyone raves about.“
“First time at Thai Thai, March 2024 for lunch. The decor was quaint and pretty. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. Went for lunch and started with the sampler appetizers- they were hot, fresh and delish- forgot to take a picture until we had eaten some. I ordered the Pan Woon Sen with shrimp with a 1 level spice - I'm not experienced with Thai spice levels- next time I'll try a 2 or 3. The Pad Woon Sen was tasty and a generous portion with plenty of shrimp. We also ordered sushi which was fresh with crispy veggies and fresh seafood. I would dine here again. Food was flavorful and fresh, service and atmosphere were great.“
“I come from a Thai background, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with the food here. The Pad Thai is exceptional - perfectly balanced flavors, and the noodles are neither too wet nor clumpy. The satay was delicious, and the sauces were outstanding, especially the spiced peanut sauce, which deviates from the usual thick peanut sauces. Surprisingly, the spring rolls were crispy and non-greasy.I'm delighted to have found an excellent Thai spot close to home with fantastic Pad Thai. I'm spreading the word through this review because I genuinely want them to succeed so I can keep coming back. Please note that this is not a sit-down place. It's part of the AztecFood hub, so it's pickup or delivery only. I placed my order through DoorDash.“
“I have been going to this establishment since they first opened. I love having the food here and usually get the pork blood porridge, hot tea and an iced coffee. Have tried just about the whole menu though and you really cant miss with any “
“Very happy for this cozy space. Nice and pleasant place to eat, the food was delicious and the dessert as well, the waiters are very friendly and you feel super special with their attention, the music is at a good volume and the atmosphere was very relaxing. My bill came out to $54 for two people, clean bathrooms and a super clean place. Wheelchair access. Free parkingVegetarian options: Most dishes can be vegetarian. Since you decide if you want meat or prefer tofuParking: Parking is free in front of the propertyWheelchair accessibility: The floor is wide and there are no stairs at the entrance so it is easy to access.“
“My husband and I ordered the sampler and drunken noodles to share. The food surpassed my expectations. Most surprisingly was the Tempura shrimp, I'm typically not a fan of seafood. However their shrimp was cooked to melt in your mouth perfection. We picked up in Santee and drove 15 minutes home, everything was still piping hot. Perhaps best of all, the servings were big enough for lunch tomorrow ?“
“Pictured: Satay Chicken, Panang Curry (with chicken), and Crispy Calamari.Service was great, only one person working for dinner doing to go’s and dine ins. Didn’t get her name but she was very friendly!Ambience was very cozy.Panang Curry was amazing!! I was asked for a spiciness level between 1-10 and I chose 6. It was spicier than I thought it would be but still great flavor. Crispy Calamari was good. Also comes with fried veggies. Satay Chicken was also good. Will be coming back!“
“I have loved this place for many years! I didn’t realize before arriving that the name had changed, but I was relieved to see signage stating the ownership and chefs remained the same. Delicious as always! They did change up the decor, so it’s more “modern” now (I loved the classic decor before) but nothing to complain about.“
“Shared a great takeout meal from Takhrai Thai. We really enjoyed the cashew chicken. The cream cheese wontons were great and we really enjoyed the small amount of spice in the plum sauce for dipping. Pad thai shrimp was pretty good as was the yellow currie and drunken noodles. We got medium spice level on everything and thought it was a true medium spicy. The Thai tea was great as well.“
“Chris VPosting publicly across GoogleFoodServiceAtmospherethai taste, thirty-plus yearsof the best thai food i havefound in san diego county!Moved back to San Diego and before I even started to unpack boxes, made the drive from Ocean Beach out to Thai Taste. In 22 months living out of California, I was in San Diego 18 times...and each time, I went to Thai Taste. The restaurant looks like a hole in the wall and I have had several friends I gave the address to say it took them several tries to find.I have had an ongoing challenge with the kitchen each time I come in...and it is to make Som Tom as spicy as they know how. Once again, Thai Taste has succeeded in eclipsing the previous version. The folks there have given me the service I have become accustomed to, quick and cheerful,To shake things up a bit, I tried their Chicken Gra Prow and Panang Curry, both at 7 spicy. Their regular scale is 1-5, and staff shared that anyone ordering 6 or 7 are aware that the spiciness of these dishes will be off the radar. Of course, I ordered the Som Tom, which I order at 10, and have yet to be disappointed. After spending significant time in both northern and southern Thailand, as I see it, this is the most authentic representation of Thai cuisine I have found in the US. The ingredients are always fresh, the preparation and presentation authentic and the prices are certainly good. The one possible challenge I have for Thai Taste is to update the dining room. Everything is clean, it just looks old.Keep it up, Thai Taste!Parking: Free and abundant.“
“Great service, great food. Very clean. Large portions. We came for lunch after the hike at the Cowles; wasn’t too busy but atmosphere was very welcoming. Most of the tables were taken, food came out pretty fast, fresh and hot. We were very pleasantly surprised. I always come to dry cleaners next door and never noticed this place. Will definitely be back and highly recommend it.“
“I went here yesterday during lunch time. The lunch special comes with an appetizer and main course. I appreciated the portion sizes for lunch. Too much food slapped on a plate can be a turn off for me, so I was happy to see the perfect portions for lunch ?The red curry was yummy with fresh green beans, rice and white chicken breast. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was because the vegetarian spring rolls were mushy inside and bland, although they were fried well. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning to grab some lunch.“
“The food here is so good! It was my first time going, and won't be my last. The food portions are giant but SO worth it. I had already eaten part of my fried rice and all of the Vegetables fried spring rolls before I took the picture haha! The people here are SO friendly. Seems like a family ran restaurant. They were so all sweet and so friendly! It is connected to their donut shop this looks absolutely amazing as well! They had music playing and the restaurant was so clean. It was a great choice. 1,000x recommend.“
“This place is a gem! I try to come every time I can. The place is very chill and clean. They usually have music playing, but comfortable enough to have a conversation over lunch/dinner. I have tried their yellow curry, pad thai, egg rolls, and garlic edamame. Everything is delicious, homey and made at request, which is one of the things I love about this place! The serving sizes are real good too and the staff is friendly and attentive. The neighborhood is a commercial and residential area, so there is foot and vehicle traffic all the time, is also well lit and there's also other businesses around.“
“First off, I just want to say that the staff was very nice and that alone made me more hopeful for the food. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken, and the drunken noodles, and wow all of them were delicious. The chow mein was absolutely packed with flavor and if it's too much for you, you can mix it with rice and the flavors will spread all throughout the rice. The drunken noodles were perfectly cooked and once again the flavors were on point making you want more. Finally, the orange chicken was my favorite. The sauce was perfect and the vegetables were coated in the orange sauce making me finish my vegetables (crazy for me). Overall, I definitely need to come back to try the other dishes on the menu and it seems to be sooner than later. If you're looking for some good reasonably priced thai food this will become your go to spot in lemon grove.Parking: Lots of parking nearby so nothing to worry about.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility throughout that mini plaza.“
“The tom yum soup was good had three shrimps in it for a small size. The Thai tea was refreshing and the pad see lew was okay. The portion was good but since I picked veggies I figured it have more than what it did. I did door dash it and didn't receive any condiments or utensils but my driver was nice :) paid around 40 bucks.“
“the atmosphere was super chill and relaxing. the decor is nice and the store is clean. the workers were friendly. we got Thai tea and boba and we didn't specify a size but it was about 32 oz of deliciousness. the best Thai tea we've tried. the boba was good too. we took our food to go but it remained hot for a long time. my wife got roasted duck pad Thai and she loved it, the noodles and sauce were savory and delicious. I got chicken spicy noodles. my dish wad perfect I loved the thick noodles so much, it was perfectly spicy(I love spicy). I am hesitant ordering spicy food bc sometimes it isn't spicy but this was, no need to add any to make it spicy. good about of veggies cooked well we will definitely return hereParking: depending on what time you come parking is easily available“
