I only give 4 stars to non-vegan restaurants when their vegan options are plentiful and worthy. Sabai Sabai exceeded my expectations. Their vegan protein options include not only tofu but mock duck. When I started out stating that I was vegan, the person taking the order promptly asked questions that showed that they clearly got it. And, the food was excellent. One of the better Thai restruants or Asian restraunts in general in Oceanside. Serving actual authentic Thai dishes with real spice unlike many Thai/Asian restraunts here that I’ve tried so far. The staff are also always kind to me and make me feel welcomed everytime I come here.
This is hands-down the best Thai food I’ve had in the area. The pad thai was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and that authentic flame-kissed wok essence that’s hard to find outside of Thailand. Every bite was packed with deliciousness, and you could tell the chef knows their craft.
